Friday night calls for some yummy AYCEKBBQ with friends! For a group of 5 around 8pm, this place was not packed. I was happy to see that it wasn’t so busy like any other restaurant around this time and was seated quickly. For $ 18.99(A) you get a good amount of meats to choose from. Whoa the brisket here are big! Unlike other KBBQ places which are usually smaller in size. Also, the steak was de-lic-ious! It tasted like butter like the texture was soft, flavorful, and just plain ol’ yum. My friends were like you are going to try the medium intestine and frankly I said uhhh cause my first experience with intestine at a KBBQ place was a no-go. Apparently you have to cook it till it’s real crispy! The before and after of intestine would get you surprise that you are eating intestine. If you get it to almost burnt crispy it taste like the fatty taste of bacon but crunchy yet chewy. Pretty good! The banchan were all good and we kept getting refills on it. Our waitress was nice & attentive and actually looks like a doppleganger of someone I know lol. Overall, for the price, location, and food its all good! Also, you can get ice cream in the end which they had green tea, strawberry, and caramel flavor. I tried the pumpkin rice punch drink which I thought was orange juice at first because of the color and was surprised to see that it wasn’t haha.

I went to Incheonwon with my husband around 2pm on Saturday. We order ayce type A. Starting with beef series & small intestine. Literally most of meat were over chewy. But side dish was decent, so I ended up with 3 stars.

Came here the other night because the original place we wanted to go to, Star BBQ, was a 45+ minute wait for a party of two. We called here and they said there was no wait! Perfect for two starving girls on a Sunday night. FOOD: Before we even ordered, they brought over some ban chan(kimchi, daikon, fish cake, bean sprouts, glass noodles…), rice paper, and salad. Not a great selection of ban chan but still had some of my favorites. For AYCE, we decided to go with the Dinner B option($ 22.99) so we could order the marinated beef rib and spicy squid. I love their marinated dishes! They have lots of flavor and the meat was not overly fatty. Together with the sauce(tip: request some bean sauce!) it is delicious! We also ordered some brisket and some beef tongue, our absolute fav! We never go to a KBBQ place without ordering some beef tongue! Stomach satisfied! They even offer ice cream here(although we were too full to try it this time). Overall: 5⁄5 SERVICE: Superb service! I love when we don’t get treated differently because we aren’t Korean. Some places like to judge you from the moment you step through the door and offer subpar service but everyone here was nice and attentive. The waiters constantly checked up on us to see if we needed anything(i.e. ban chan refilled, more meat) or to change our grill and even offered suggestions as to what their most popular items are. All our meats were brought out within 5 – 10 minutes after we ordered. They even helped cut our squid for us and check to see if it was done or not. Overall: 5⁄5 DECOR/AMBIANCE: Pretty big restaurant with the usual décor seen in many KBBQ places. Decent number of tables and ventilation is a lot better than many other KBBQ places I’ve been to. Good spot for families or big parties. Overall: 4⁄5 There is a small lot out front for parking which can get filled at times because there are other businesses in that plaza. May be a bit of a hassle when it gets busy. You can always call ahead to find out how busy they are or make a reservation. I’ve never had a problem getting a table when coming here though so if you’re looking for a good KBBQ place where you don’t have to wait long, check this place out!

This place has very good customer service. The waiters are very attentive. Our fire kept on going out, and they offered drinks on the house as an apology, which I think it’s very nice of them. Most ayce places don’t even bother to come by and check on us. It would have been a 5 stars if there’s more item on the list. Their pork belly is delicious, very tender

Pros: *Great price *Good quality meat *Great service *Minimal wait time *Ice cream Cons: *Limited parking I came here at around 8PM on a Saturday with my boyfriend and two friends. Usually most other KBBQ places have a long wait during dinner time on the weekends, but at Incheonwon, we got seated almost immediately. They have two price options for AYCE, which I think was $ 18.99 and $ 22.99. Very reasonable prices for dinner for an AYCE place. The servers were very friendly and attentive and even helped us cook and cut our pork belly at the end. They don’t put out the salt, pepper and sesame oil dipping sauce but will provided it to you if you ask them. Just like Cham Sut Gol, they now have ice cream for dessert and also their usual sweetened pumpkin juice. The one downside is limited parking. If you don’t find parking in the front, you can park in the back, but it’s also a small lot and almost every other spot has a sign that says«Employee parking.» If you park in the back, Incheonwon has a back entrance and you can just follow the signs to go to the front. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re craving KBBQ but don’t want the long wait.

Seems like new owners, Daniel nowhere to be found. No energy. Dismal. No service upon being seated. No water. No menus. I walked out Creepy vibe now.

Thank you staff of Inchewon. You guys are the epitome of great customer service. A lot of other Kbbq places around this area should really take note of how you treat your paying guests.

This place doesn’t look like it would be that good just based on appearance only, but I really enjoyed myself here! Spent a good two hours to get our AYCE worth. Came super early for dinner(5pm) so it was fairly empty. Service wise– they are not the best– typical Asian attitudes, have to ask a few time to get what I want and they didn’t even bring me any lettuce– but that is typical so it didn’t bother me too much. Tried the intestines! Super weird, they really cook down to little pieces of fat– I ate them as they were super burnt, not sure I would get them again, but interesting to try. The beef tongue unfortunately wasn’t that good. I’m used to it being more tender, and it was a bit chewy here. The steak was surprisingly really good and well seasoned. Definitely recommend that. Brisket is good(always have to get brisket!) Beef was decent– nothing to write home about. For $ 18.99, I’d say you get a good deal. Also, self serve ice cream! Green tea and strawberry– pretty good for ice cream in a unknown tub. Would probably return.

We were down in Anaheim and were in the mood for some KBBQ. As usual, Gen had its 1.5 hour wait, and we really weren’t down with that considering we had a group of 4 young children with us. We Unilocaled around, and found Incheonwon. After calling in at 7:30 pm, I was told that there was no wait. Our group lagged a little bit, so we didn’t get there until 8 – 8:30. At this point, there was about a 30 – 40 minute wait, but the owner didn’t once blame us for this and instead, offered us a place to sit, a few dishes of banchan for the kids to munch on, and soju. He continuously kept us updated of when people were leaving, and made sure to show us where he was planning to put us to make sure it was suitable for our kids. Such a sweet guy. He put us in a private corner right by the TV where a basketball game was playing. We ordered the AYCE A set for $ 18.99 a person, half priced for kids up until the age of 9. Everything was delicious, and this place had the best steamed egg I’ve tried out of any KBBQ spot I’ve been to! At the end of your meal, you’re free to help yourself to ice cream. the kids loved it, the adults were happy, and you can count on us coming back again. I never got the name of the owner, but best believe he deserves an extra star for outstanding service!

My go to place for kbbq. It’s not as well known as cham sut gol or gen but don’t be fooled this place is great. Ayce lunch is only 13.99 a person and dinner is only 18.99(for the A set). The B set comes with more seafood such as squid and baby octopus and costs 22.99. Plenty of good side dishes to keep your hunger at bay while waiting for you meat to cook and a choice of soup per person, whether it be egg, tofu, or soybean. Staff is friendly and always ready to help. Try all the meats they are all very good, and it’s good to explore meats you don’t usually eat. The staff is very nice and constantly change your grill without being asked to, big plus. Tips: when arriving at your table there will be two sauces there a spicy(not very spicy) sauce and a brisket sauce or at least that’s what I think it’s called. Ask for another sauce, sesame oil with salt and pepper. It’s the bomb and great with many meats.

This is definitely one of the better choices for Korean BBQ. The service is great, it’s cheaper than other places(13.99 lunch, 18.99 dinner A, 21.99 dinner B), and it has ALL the different sides and steamed egg pot! For kbbq, all I need is beef tongue, bean sprouts, and steamed egg and I’m happy! We came here an hour after it opened. There were two other groups there as well. The servers always come back and make sure everything on your table is stacked and that you have enough meat. The meat is good, some were a little too chewy though. There’s a drink dispenser in the corner near the entrance; it’s a pumpkin drink that’s supposed to be for digestion. The only thing I want to complain about is the rice paper. It was as stiff as a rock; I couldn’t even make little tacos because it was so hard. We asked for fresh, soft ones, but she kept coming back with old, stale ones. And also… Isn’t this supposed to be an ALLYOUCANEAT place? How come the steamed egg pots aren’t ayce? That’s very lame.

This place can have my dough! Food quality is where it should be and the staff is great. They also have ice cream as most AYCE joints do. The prices are very fair and this is my new spot

I’ve gone to this place two times in a month now. It’s such a hidden gem. The great thing is that they take reservations for large parties 7 days out of the week. There’s usually no wait, but I like to make a reservation in advance just in case. The«A» AYCE meal is only $ 18.99. It comes with all the basics(soy bean soup, egg, bulgogi, small/large intestine, paper/wine/black/spicy pork belly, chicken, brisket, and more but I can’t recall off the top of my head…). They even have good quality ice cream for dessert(strawberry, green tea, and caramel vanilla). I recommend getting their paper pork belly. That meat seems to absorb their jalapeño sauce really well. They won’t serve you sesame oil w/salt and pepper from the start, but if you ask, they will bring some out to you. Not only do they have great quality food, but their service is on point as well. Probably the best there is in OC. I got the same female server the both times I went and she was amazing. We never had empty ban chan plates and our grill was consistently changed out without being asked. She was incredibly attentive and always checked in to see if we needed anything else. The parking lot in the front of the restaurant is incredibly small and some spots are reserved for other businesses(so don’t forget to check where you park). Luckily, there is additional parking in the back with an entrance that leads into the restaurant. For no wait, the price you pay, and the food you get this place can’t be beat.

I came here to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful experience. The service here is REALLY good. For most of our dinner, my group was the only group that was seated in the room on the right side of the restaurant. I thought that would result in lack of service, but that was not the case. The food was good as well! I really enjoyed the different types of meat. My favorite was the pork belly. They also have steamed egg pot, tofu soup, and soybean stew. Overall, I like this place. It isn’t my favorite, but it will definitely satisfy any KBBQ cravings. They take reservations as well! Which is great for birthdays. :)

Went here a few weeks ago after finding out all my other favorite places had a 2 hour wait. In hindsight, I’m so glad I found this place! Service was great, our server was so friendly and attentive. The food, namely the brisket, red wine marinated bulgogi, and beef tongue were delicious. The beef tongue was extremely tender and was actually the size of a beef tongue and not akin to a half-dollar, unlike so many AYCEKBBQ restaurants I’ve been to. Also, there’s a delicious kabocha pumpkin juice in the front– be sure to grab yourself a cup! I found myself standing in front of it following dinner, trying to get as many cups as possible :) Price of the cheaper dinner set was also very reasonable for the quality. Great food and service, so it’s definitely a well-deserved 5*!

What can I say… I love kbbq. I love this place too. I come here for birthdays(one last weekend) and whatever my friend Anh arranges. Great place for groups to come, eat, drink, and be merry. They know his voice when he calls in for reservations lol. I pretty much stick to brisket. I will try whatever the rest orders though. Banchans are good. I usually have pickled radishes and jalapeños. Kimchi is good here… I’m very picky about my kimchi so if I don’t make it myself, there’s some decent places to get it with dinner.

— Locale Destination — It’s on Brookhurst st and Russell Ave in Garden Grove. It’s in the tiny strip mall. Very little parking spots. Carpool! Ambiance: old, plain, family style. No AC(they use old fashioned fans), so very hot and ventilation system is outdated and useless. Very big space with lots of tables, yet they put all the customers by block by block — to serve them easier despite of lots of other empty seating. The space between seating is very tight. Cleanness: Decent. Service: Friendly yet super slow, way understaffed — hence not a good service overall. Water nor banchan wasn’t refilled, but they changed the grill and brought food quickly. I see that the reasons why many people complained about the slow service. Lunch: Lunch special AYCE $ 13.99. They also have other food menu with cheaper price tags than AYCE. 1130a-3p, weekdays except for holidays. I think lunch AYCE might worth it. Other options for lunch: I’m not sure about dinner since I went there for labor day’s lunch. $ 18.99 or $ 22.99. $ 22.99 has seafood options on top of all the meat options on $ 18.99, kalbi and soup. I had the $ 22.99 one. Grill: It burns so quickly, so I guess they had to change like 4 times or so. Thanks for it. — Gluttony Expedition — LA prime rib: With bone — kalbi. It’s like what you get at Korean market. The first order was still frozen. Nothing«good quality» about on the meat. Spicy shrimp: the shell, head and all came with it. It was good but hard to eat because you got to take them all… Not too spicy. Spicy baby octopus: it’s too chewy to eat. I wish they had better scissors that could actually cut something. The scissors they provided us were absolutely dull. I had to chew and made a mess :( Beef tongue: super thin and bland. Terrible. Spicy pork: yum! Marinated prime beef steak: very thick, gigantic, with tons of fat, chewy. No quality. I recommend the«cube» one that is already cut… Banchan: thin rice cake & daikon radish, kimchi, seaweed, the bowl of green salad etc. japchae(noodle) and kimchi were good. They were so understaffed and couldn’t refill them at all. Alright overall. — Conqueror’s Deduction — Nothing special. It’s just ok. Slow service, very poor quality meats, decent taste, yet no AC… I don’t think it worth for $ 25/person. I rather go to «Manpuku»(Japanese/Korean BBQ) for the better quality meats, this type of combo deal — though«Manpuku» isn’t AYCE. I’d be happier to go to «Tsuruhashi» in Fountain Valley for the best Korean(actually Japanese/Korean) BBQ, but they aren’t AYCE place. They just offer very good quality meats with great flavors.

Hmm maybe 3.5 but rounded up. My typical kbbq spots are Gen or All That Barbecue, we came here cause of convenience and it’s only $ 14 for the lunch special?! Definitely had to come here. We were the first customers of the morning, came like 2 minutes after they opened up. Our server was really nice to explain everything to us, service was slow even though the place literally had like 3 groups for the morning. We had to wait a lot on water getting refilled or us getting more things but! It’s bearable for $ 14! Though the lunch special is just special cause of price, I think I’m ok with paying $ 20 in Irvine! I get more meat, the service is better, I don’t get free ice cream in the end like you can here! But eh: P I don’t think I will come back just because I’ll want to try other kbbq places nearby & compare. Also, I think they put sesame oil? & salt together in the small dish :(kbbq usually has salt by itself but its all good. I forgot what it’s called but it’s like brown, flat & tofu like? I LOVETHATSTUFF and omg they have it here!!! Usually if you go to BCD Tofu house, that’s the only restaurant I know that has it for the sides. Can’t think of it but it’s like soft, fish like? Idk. Actually, I guess I’ll round up because the sides here are delicious! japchae, kimchi, seaweed salad and the brown thing I like? Hell yeah!

When the OG hits you up and says that we need to catch up you just can’t say no, especially when KBBQ is involved lol. My good friend Lena T. and I came here for dinner and were immediately seated. The place was practically empty and I had no idea why, this place rocks! We glanced at the affordable menu and munched on the kimchi, fish cakes and other tasteful items they had on the table. We quickly ordered the marinated steak and the brisket as well as the egg soup. I thought personally the brisket were ok(lots of fat but still very tasty). The marinated steak was extremely tender. I was caught off guard with how little I had to chew. We then ordered the pork belly which I thought tasted amazing though I’m gonna need to work that off soon. The egg soup I thought was absolutely one of the better ones from all the kbbq places I’ve been to. My soup craving for the day was cured. They also had ice cream here too. Much like its competitor a few blocks down, the ice cream was delicious. Only green tea, strawberry and I think mango. I only really came for the green tea ice cream(drools). I thought the customer service was outstanding here. We never once asked them to change our grill because they were immediately on it as soon as it began to slightly blacken. And they were more than accommodating towards us since LT’s son was making a mess(but in a cute and adorable way lol). So I had to leave em a nice tip(don’t usually tip often). Total wasn’t all that much. I must say it was actually really cheap, factor in the no waiting and ice cream too. Solid! PS parking lot is a bit small but we came through at the perfect time. Eventually it actually did start to pick up. PPS I don’t believe there is a time limit either. LT and I were there for a good minute catching up… I like this place!
