Garden Grove Inn

I’ve only come to this motel to pick up and to find girls, it’s great for that… If your trying to find a motel that’s clean and good for family’s, this is not the spot… but if your in a bind and on the streets, this is a great place that will really help you… the manager is super friendly and willing to help you out…

This motel housed the druggie Tiffini Kuuipo Tobe who was on Police Chase and then eventually set her dogs free to roam the 710 freeway when she finally stopped. She was previously arrested for Animal Abuse and wasn’t supposed to be in posession of ANY Animals. Loser.

This location lets people stay long term and basically move in for periods of time. As a mover, I was hired to move someone out of the location due to them not being able to pay the bill. When I first pulled up in my truck, I was pretty sketched by the people wondering around the parking lot. As its been mentioned before, it appears to be a hot spot for druggies and prostitutes. I even saw the manager chasing a black guy out who was high as a kite, wondering around the hotel parking lot talking to himself (a crazy I assume). He didn’t leave the first time, so the manager had to force him out by hand. The neighboring hotel doesn’t look in better in terms of people staying there. But you get what you pay for.
The employees working (I assume an Asian family) were all very nice and welcoming. Despite the lack of a suitable look, they gave it a warm welcome with their good attitudes. The rooms are decent size, kept up and clean (any mess is most likely made by the person renting the room), and come at a good price… While I may never stay here, I suppose if you are on a budget and can keep to yourself, you can handle this spot.

How do I explain the Garden Grove Inn… It’s mostly a busty motel that are frequented by two basic categories of people — Japanese tourists who are on a tight budget, and druggies. Despite this, it is strangely a safe feeling because you will see children running around. The rooms tend to be a bit haggard, but a relatively good size. It is one of those places that get raided often so if you are a normal citizen, it can be a good thing, but if you are one who works on the other side of the tracks, there is a good chance you will busted. The best way to determine how busty a motel is by looking at the level of activity outside and around at 200 am. This place is pretty active around then, so that should be an indicator of something amiss.

So, I’m here only because the motel I’m staying at has a 28 day maximum, so I have to leave until tomorrow morning unfortunately. I only came here dude to the fact that I was so lazy and didn’t feel like driving far or even a mile.
Completely different experience with the front desk. The gentleman working was super friendly and luckily I was able to get a room on Friday. He had a two bed room available and for the price being the same as a one bed I didn’t hesitate to take it. I would give the motel another star but I do get a horrible vibe here. I’m almost wanting to park somewhere else with the feeling of «my stuff» is unsafe here feeling. Upon entering the room I was surprised to find a rather large room and it is very very clean. No bed bugs or roaches as of yet. This place was either a Best Western or they stole the room numbers posted on the doors from one or bought them. I like the clean bathroom and the flat screen TV. I would recommend this place to someone that needs a place to stay and on a budget. Very glad I came here it saved me more than $ 20. I wish their weekly was as cheap as the place I’m at right now but you can’t have everything you want. Hopefully I don’t hear screaming in the parking lot from here like i normally hear from next door, that’s another reason I hesitated before coming here. Not great but okay.

Man I’ve been here going on 3 days now I’ve never met anyone more disrespectful the morning manager (little Asian man). Full or tweekers and weirdos crackheads and hoes.

Stayed here on vacation, at first I thought it was creepy because I tried to google the place and couldn’t find anything had to call the chamber of commerce to find out if it was legit or not. And it is legit, room was nice has a fridge and it has a freezer bathroom was nice shower was nice the water pressure was perfect for me. Other people around here were quite creepy looked like a bunch of junkies and other stuff. Conveniently off the highway. I would probably stay here again the price was decent. I would recommend this place if you’re on a budget.

This is a CHEAP motel ! DON’T STAY HERE if you value your life or possessions.
I came across this place after I became homeless and since the rooms are affordable-​cheap, decided to give it a try. But, after being here for a while you get to see a lot of crap that you weren’t exposed to before. Yes, there’s crack heads, hookers and blow! Let alone sex offenders that live here and other shady characters.
This is definitely not a place for families!
I can go on but the list is too long to mention all the crap that goes on here. Can’t complain to staff because they won’t do anything and then YOU become a problem to them, all they care about is MONEY! Their totally unfair and not right. They actually say they don’t have a problem and that it’s fine here– Boy, talk about living in their own fantasyland! Even looking at the place I knew it wasn’t right but they lied and assured me that it was a good place-​WRONG!!!
Oh and don’t even ask for a refund because you won’t get one and all the police say is take them to small claims court! The police know how bad this place is– they don’t even want to come out here for a call.
AND their not liable if someone breaks into your car or vandalizes it. They claim to have camera’s and 24hr. surveillance-​WRONG AGAIN! They don’t! And that’s coming from the police themselves. So don’t be fooled, it’s badly run and even their own workers complain that he’s unfair, unreasonable and cheap!
So avoid the problems and the hassle and go elsewhere. This place is just good for one nighter and cheap fks! Certainly not a place to take your next vacation at.
BEWARE-​They don’t have a designated smoking area for those who do smoke– I’m a non-​smoker who developed a breathing problem within the last 6 mos. of being here. They claim they do but what they mean is they don’t want them smoking in certain rooms but, they CAN smoke outside in front of other rooms if they want even in front of a non-​smokers room!

Stayed here a few times. The rooms are pretty clean. The prices arent too bad. Staff is friendly. What you do have to watch out for are some of the people staying here. On my 1^st stay here I noticed some tweakers smoking a crack pipe outside thier room. My 2^nd visit I saw a pimp beating up one of his ho’s. I used an app on my phone ’ offender search’ and checked this area. HOLY CRAP! The monsters are all around here. Violent Sex Offenders, Recent Parolees, Felons, Criminally Insane, you name it. They all pop up here. Keep your children on a tight rope here. And keep on your guard at all times. Keep your door locked.
