Stanton Villa Motel

Stayed here for a few weeks, and I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice people, including Sam, the Manager. There was only minor difficulty with the WiFi, but that can even happen at Starbucks. Otherwise, good people, pretty nice place, well managed. I didn’t have to deal with the «thug» types I’ve seen at other places up and down Beach Blvd. I felt safe, and there’s no price tag I can put on that. Stanton Villa was a good place to stay. 4 Stars!

I didn’t find pests/​bugs in the room– always a plus but you’ll need to bring your own bedding!!! The room is equipped with its own heater, doesn’t work that well; I froze half the night! This isn’t the place for you if expecting an upscale or even a Motel 6 version of a room. It is what it is– maybe not what you pay for but its ok when you need a room in an emergency.

This motel definitely exceeded expectations! My husband, myself, and our 2 kids stayed there for 3 weeks. Yes it looks like a dump on the outside, but it’s actually neat, clean, and rather cozy. The staff are all very nice and nobody bothers you, as long as you aren’t being disruptive to others. We’ve actually witnessed them kick a few people out due to yelling and/​or loud music blaring at night. They maintain quiet hours and let you do your own thing. The only downsides were no housekeeping until you check out, no kitchenettes in 2-​bed rooms, and no air conditioning. Oh and they don’t take credit cards for weekly rentals, only nightly. The great things are free cable w/​On Demand, and a huge flat screen tv! We will definitely keep this hotel in mind if we ever need to stay here again!

Omg. What can I say. This by far is the best place I have stayed in Orange County. My Husband and I stayed and in fact still are here 2 months later well waiting on your home to be bulit. Its spacious, very quiet, discreet with a amazing staff. Its family own and has a charm about it I just love. From housekeeper to the night shift manager the entire crew is likable. Free wifi, HD TV with ON DEMAND and comfy beds all for a great price. U cant beat it. I will recommend and will stay again!!!

Stayed here for a few months and this place exceeded my expectations tremendously. The managers take pride in their establishment, meaning they don’t put up with excuses or trouble which results in a very peaceful place to stay (no crackheads, drug dealers, etc.) All the residents keep to themselves which is always great. They also have great weekly rates for having updated rooms (Flat screen HD TV, New furniture)

This place is a hidden gem! I found this place via Craigslist because I needed a place to stay for 18 days while my husband and I are in the process of moving back to As. We got a room with a full kitchen. I expected a mini fridge and a! ocrowave…I got a full size fridge, microwave AND a gas stove!
The first night we had to stay in 22 until 8 became available. We ended having to move rooms because the room had ants! O went to the front desk and the were more than happy to move us! The first night there was some yelling going on in front of the room around 12a or so, but other than that, we enjoy quiet nights. No one bothers you, the staff all bend over backwards to make sure you’re happy… you almost feel bad to bother them with stuff.
Free WiFi, cable and Satellite, no access to the A/​V channel (office uses that channel to stream free adult movies) but if you have HDMI cables, you can use that instead. They also have large flat screen TVs in every room. Downside, they control the volume… you can put it up to 100, and it sounds like its on 20… also, tyey dont have aor conditioning… in the winter thst probably wouldnt be too bad, but in the summer, it might be a deal breaker for you. Weekly rates are pretty reasonable for the space and amenities.
I just wish I knew about this place sooner!

Very pleasant stay at this motel. Staff was attentive and friendly. Thet have a nice little courtyard in the center so when u look out of your window u see a pretty fountain and beautiful flowers. Free wifi which is cool for my ps3and laptop. The location is on a busy street but was very quiet and felt safe staying there.

Clean, quiet, HD TV, nice bed, good price, friendly, warm and comfy atmosphere, free wifi, easy access, good old school charm.
I will definitely stay again!
