Came in here today purely on accident, I was on my way to buy some nuoc Mia when I found out my regular place was closed and I saw a sign inside that said fresh nuoc Mia. So I decided to give it a try, my experience with nuoc Mia places haven’t always been pleasant so my expectations were low. I came in and the lady who worked there greeted me instantly and was really nice(as all shopkeepers should be) I told her my situation and she sold me a cup. After taking the first sip I was pretty happy with my purchase as it tasted pretty good and I bought another cup.

My mom came down here for a visit and we were hanging out in Little Siagon area and saw some fresh jack fruit. The fruit looked so good! We decided to buy some. Prices may very depending on the size of the fruit and who is selling it. These kind of fruit stands carry exotic tropical fruits like Dragon Fruit, Star fruit, etc. Great place to get your favorite tropical fruits and expand your palate with new n interesting fruits.

You’ll find little fruit stands similar to this one all over the Garden Grove and Westminster area. This particular one is unusually located inside the Hi-Lite Video Store, so they literally sell DVDs on one side of the wall and exotic fruit on the other. A little random combination but any display of fresh fruit will earn a browse from me. Plus, it’s located steps away from my favorite sugarcane juice spot, Vien Tay. They sell your everyday pineapple and oranges, as well as exotics like jackfruit, lychee, durian, mangos, tangerines, rambutan, and even mangosteen. I bought a box of mangos and some special tangerines(the wrinkled… pruney ones that I love) to try that ran me about $ 19. I can’t say that they are cheaper than the regular markets, but as long as they are sweet, no complaints here. And they totally were! I will definitely return!
