I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have been a long-​term customer of over 5 years and they have bad business practices. It is a typical shady Vietnamese office (I’m Vietnamese fyi and came here because my parents brought me here when I was younger) that tries to extract as much money from you with the least amount of customer service.
–They did not amend their promise of extra lenses when they asked me personally to give a testimonial in front of prospecting customers when they opened their new location (which got closed down shortly after I wonder why…).
–Made me pay a $ 100 service fee then said everything was good and my eyesight actually got better (wow ortho-​k amirite). Calls me back a week later and said it actually got worse and I needed to pay around 600 for another pair of lenses.
–Lady at the front refuses to speak English with me just because I’m Vietnamese. Talks in a condescending way and provides ZERO help.
I never use Unilocal to post bad reviews but this was a special case.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! I was a customer of 2 years due to convenience, and may I say, this place is a total rip off. They sold me SAMPLES as the monthly contacts I was actually supposed to receive. A pair would go for $ 10 each even though it clearly states on the packaging, «Not for retail sale.» As for colored contacts, they charge $ 80 a pair! What the hell? Ugh, my parents knew but didn’t want to get involved and have the hassle of switching. I mean, yeah the staff is nice. But if they really cared about you, they wouldn’t scheme a patient like that. If you need contacts, please go anywhere else!

Dr. Vuong and her staff have been professional and courteous and helped our daughter keep her vision from worsening she was highly recommended from a friend of ours whose daughter’s vision was progressively worsening and we decided to give her and her staff a try we are so pleased with the success of our daughters visioning improving! I highly recommend Ortho-​K as opposed to traditional optometry. My only regret is that we did not start our daughter off sooner thank you Dr. Vuong and staff! We drive an hour to one way for Dr Vuong– she’s worth it!

I was here on 03÷28÷12 asking about CRT contact lenses. OMG! The receptionist was trying to sell me a pair (yupe, 2 CRT contact lenses) for $ 2,200! I clearly told her I only need 1 CRT for my left eye because I already got 1 for my right eye 2 months ago. The receptionist says they can’t do that. I HAVE to buy 2 CRT contact lenses and do their plan for $ 2,200/yr. WTH? I again told her, I don’t need 2 lenses, I only NEED 1 for my left eyes, she says, well we can only do in a pair and u can use the one u got 2 months ago for spares. OMG, Didn’t she know a CRT lense lasted u a long long time ?? Hello?
I came here because my brother thought that paying $ 500 for 1 CRT lenses is too costly and he insisted that I check out this place. I’m very disappointed and horrify at this place’s price. If you’re looking for CRT contact Lenses, check around and never never let any1 tell you have to get them in a pair. I have been wearing 1 for the last 3 years and my DR. at Eastgate Optometry Care sell me 1 CRT leanse with no problem.

I have not been back to the office since my review. I am updating this review because I was contacted by «someone who does business» with the Optometry Office asking to remove my review because it was old. I have included the conversation in photos so fellow Unilocalers have at least some transparency from someone.
The office may in fact be better, if so good for them. I want to point out that my review is almost 3 years old and things may very well have changed. But pressuring me to remove a two-​star review, not even a one-​star, is not okay.
