Arco AmPm

Horrible experience! Just wanted some quick gas and was accosted by window cleaner salesmen. I said I was not interested and that my husband owns auto shop and takes care of my car but these guys don’t listen and just kept pushing forward and sprayed the stuff on my window and told me he’d be done with demonstration before I was done pumping gas at which point I withdrew the nozzle right at ten dollars and left! My tank was on empty, I had plenty of money but chose not to spend it on gas there and will NEVER buy gas there again!

Ugh. But what do you expect? It’s an AM/​PM. Four stars since I don’t set the bar very high for them in the first place lol.
The Good: Cops (LAPD/​CHP) are always loitering en masse in the alleyway behind the store. At least you are safe! Chase ATM, large store size, huge lot, many gas pumps, Jack in the Box and Krispy Kreme next door, easy access from 91/​110/​405/​Artesia/​Vermont, good gas prices
The Bad: Cops (LAPD/​CHP) are always loitering en masse in the alleyway behind the store. Don’t do illegal or stupid things unless you are truly a pure idiot! Dirty ground (as with most AM/​PMs!), mostly dumb staff that doesn’t know how to count, rude customers, and ummmm did I mention the lame customers who are rude?
This is a good meetup spot for craigslist transactions… when the flakes are late or don’t show up at least you have a storefull of goodies to gorge yourself on in the meantime! =D

I have been a loyal customer for years, but I had terrible customer service by the staff when they belittled me for trying to redeem a mobile coupon from AmPm! If they are ignorant to the specials that their company puts out it shouldn’t end with the customer feeling downright degraded. I have to grade 1 star for the terrible service I experienced.

This Arco always have the cheapest gas prices any day.
Only downsides are that the island machines don’t work half the time (either wont take your money or not is functioning at all).
Second downsides is that the station is always a mess. Machines are dirty and floors have oil/​gas all over.
Other than that, this place is where I go the most to buy gas because of the prices.

Gas is always cheapest here. Always clean and well stocked up. easy to get in and out fast.
Lost 1 star for the panhandlers. They are always here no matter what time of day.

I’m not going to tell you my favorite beer but this place has the best prices around for that particular brand. I usually buy them in a 18 pack!
Last time I was there, they were sold out! Order some more please! And believe it or not, the Albertson located at the corner of Western Avenue and Artesia Blvd also has the best price on the red wine I love. Again, I’m not telling you which brand of red wine it is. Hahaha
