Went in during lunch to grab some froyo, yo. There was no froyo here or there, there was no froyo anywhere. After pulling the lever about 10 times to no avail, the girl finally went in the back to confirm, yep, that the«plain» yogurt wasn’t ready yet. I think empty would be more like it. I didn’t really feel like trying any of the other flavors, because if the foundation isn’t solid, nothing else matters. Did she really have to go in the back to confirm that nothing was coming out? I could see that for myself after the first 5 minutes. Bad move at lunchtime on a Thursday.

Not bad! 3.5 stars. This joint opened up next to Rowah. In fact, they share the same entrance and phone number so this is Rowah’s spawn. This’ll also explain the reviews about Rowah looking closed down back in January – remodeling to allot space to Peachberry. I’m not big on the whole OG sour frozen yogurt fad(remember the 80s?), but I decided to check it out after lunch. I was kinda impressed. I liked the fact that you could purchase it by the ounce and you made your own. No matter what kind of yogurt you got or how many toppings, everything was 39 cents an ounce. For my creation, I got a little of all the flavors – plain, green tea, and(guess the third!) peach. I walked over to the toppings, grabbed some tongs, and strategically placed a few big blackberries, some blueberries, cubed mango, and little mochi pearls on top. In addition to these, other refrigerated toppings included pineapple, kiwi, and strawberry. There might have been some raspberry, don’t remember. I was impressed by how fresh the fruits were – shiny, no bruises on the berries, and the mango was ripe but not yet mushy. I didn’t bother with the dry toppings, but there was a selection of those, too. My masterpiece was 6.5 ounces and $ 2.75(tax included). What does this convert to in Pinkberry currency? If I recall, you pay per topping and green tea is priced differently than plain at other places. The frozen yogurt was, um, sour, same as the rest, but you could still taste the green tea and peach through the pucker. Ha. I’d actually come here again. It’s in the same parking lot as Curry House, El Pollo Inka, and all those restaurants, so it’d be a good place to get your dessert on after lunch.
