The owner was extremely friendly as soon as we opened the door. The jasmine honey milk tea was good. My friends also liked the strawberry shake and jasmine milk tea. Would come here again!

I always bike to boba time and it’s one of my favorite boba places. Regular cup is about $ 3.25 and large for $ 3.75 which is pretty rrasonable

I got three drinks for my family and a crêpe thirty minutes before closing and I got it within minutes. The gentlemen was working alone and worked well. Sure, it wasn’t busy but I read complaints about bad service and I didn’t get that. My boba wasn’t yellow(or a weird color) and the pistachio frabbe is on point. I don’t discredit that maybe the bad experiences have been noticed by management and they’ve made some changes. At least, that’s what I assume happened because I didn’t experience anything bad.

I grew up in the San Gabriel valley where boba spots were almost as frequent as a Starbucks. Now that I live in South Bay, I feel deprived. Overall, I always get Almond Milk Tea. By far, this was one of if not the best i’ve ever had. I wish they were just a little closer to home, but maybe it’s better this way. I go next door to Tofu Village for some tasty food, and then Boba Time for my dessert. Crepes look amazing! Oh, my fiancé got the pistachio milk tea… AMAZING! Tasted like they took real pistachios and ground them into a powder and used that with the milk tea. Also the boba was nice and soft, not like hard pellets at some places… Great job!!!

This place has good slushies but the wait is so long. I often want to stop there to grab a drink before work but the wait for a drink is ridiculous so a lot of the time I decide not to go. I’m sure they lose a lot of business for this. On another note the drinks are amazing and perfect for a hot day and those Nutella stuffed fish shaped pastries are so good. The staff is always friendly and I hate that I’m not able to go often. If they would have more people working to get the drinks made faster I would definitely stop there more.

This is by far the best boba I have had in LA County. I really don’t understand some of the negative reviews this place gets considering that they brew their own tea. My fiancée and I frequent this place at least 3 times a week and have never been dissatisfied. Every drink I’ve had there has been amazing including the: jasmine honey milk tea(one of the best drinks ever) raspberry black tea strawberry green tea This place deserves to be a South Bay institution.

Soooo good. I’ve been to boba places all over LA, and this is definitely one of my favorites. The Cookies & Crème shake with boba is amazing, my favorite. Really nice employees as well!

Stopped by here randomly and was really impressed! The girl that helped us out(didnt catch her name) was super friendly and answered my million questions about what drinks she recommends. Ended up leaving with a Thai tea slushy and a crêpe. they also have punch cards! Will be returning the next time I’m in the area!

The service is super slow. And they don’t get the orders out in… Well, order! I was 189 and they called 194, 176, 191, 188, and finally 189. I ordered the regular jasmine milk tea with boba and rainbow jelly. The milk is good, not too sweet and the boba is chewy and slightly sweetened. For $ 3.50. I thought it was a good price compared to tea station or even Yami for the lack of quality there. But that wait. Horrible. Just go to boiling point for boba.

Man I hate leaving bad reviews on here but sometimes it needs to be done! My experience here was far from«alright». it was sad :( There’s only 1 guy working here on a Sunday. Why? There’s 4 people ahead of me, he’s making a crêpe and what not. Like why? They need more employees. It shouldn’t take 20 minutes to make a powder based smoothie. And omg my boba was like a bright yellow color. Wtheck?! I’ve never seen anything like it in my boba consuming life. When I asked the employee why it was yellow he simply said«that’s just the color of it». Oh and they charge you .50 cents by the way to add this weird boba to your drink. I told him, «I didnt want to give you a hard time because your busy, but my experience here has been a messy one. You need more employees.» He shook his head and apologized. Probably won’t come back here again. I’ve had way better smoothies and better tasting boba. A regular smoothie with minimal boba was $ 5. I can name a list of boba spots within a 5 mile radius who would take care of your boba needs better than boba time. I just feel kind of robbed. Wah :(

It’s always boba time and there’s always time for boba. And you don’t just get your run-of-the-mill milk tea here. The peach-mango smoothie is amazing, made with fresh white preaches, and every flavor shows some real thought. Definitely the place to go if you’re craving boba!

Very nice cashier, helpful if you don’t know what to order. Good Thai tea. I liked that the whole cup wasn’t ice, only about 1⁄3 was I’ve and yes it was cool. Bathrooms smell of bleach. Hey that’s way better than the smell of urine so I am not complaining. It was clean and that is what matters.

I was recently in Gardena visiting a friend at #boilingPoint when we decided to go next door to #bobatime to get some matcha ice tea. I was looking at the menu when I realized one of the boba artists was making the drink I wanted, so I told my friend ‚“look that’s how it’ll look like”. I took out my phone to take an obligatory picture for Instagram. Facebook, snapchat, Unilocal-you get the point lol. When suddenly the wand that mixes the drinks accidentally fell on the floor. I told the girl who I was with«this will be the deciding factor, if he picks it up and puts the dirty mixer back into the drink, we’re going to walk out immediately and this WILL go on Unilocal» I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the guys manager pick up the tool. BUT he placed it back on the table… ONLY to see the boba artist put the the DIRTY wand that had just fallen on the wet carpet back into the drink. NOOOOOOOOOO!!! We could not believe our eyes. If this is what they openly show to customers what do they do in the back room that we don’t see? We walk over fecal matter, germs, and bacteria everyday. ALL of which were just mixed into some poor souls drink. EW. All in all, we definitely did not have #bobatime that day, and will probably never have it again. Please help me share this post to spread the word that restaurants and tea shops should try harder to have more sanitary work places and habits. In this electronic era, all it takes is one picture to prove what’s really going on in these places. It’s a shame, I was looking forward to drinking the matcha tea. Please Share !

You know what time it is … It’s Boba Time! … break into ridiculously fun and uncoordinated dance moves … then move on. Olivia Z. and me had too much time on our hands after dinner in Gardena and weren’t quite sure where to go next. So, we checked our Boba Clocks and discovered it was time for boba and clearly it was the moment to find Boba Time. … break into ridiculously fun and silly dance moves … then jiggle on over. The menu behind the counter seems to offer everything including Milk Teas, Smoothies, Juices, Shaved Ice, and Shaved Snow. I actually switched my mind and wanted the Shave Snow, but sadly they were out … anyways, this is Boba Time, so, I best stick with a Tapioca Pearl Milk Tea. A large Taro Milk Tea was $ 4.25 plus $ 0.50 for Boba balls. It was made with hot water and powder. Despite it being Taro-ffic flavor, it was a runny mess as the ice melted and powder settled. Not really the best blend of Taro Milk Tea I’ve had. The actual tapioca balls were a-ok. Boba Time is located in a small shopping center full of businesses targeting the Korean & Korean American market. With free parking and simple service behind the counter, it fills the«a-ok» niche for the area when it’s Boba Time … break into ridiculously fun and wild dance … and enjoy the rest of your day.
