Del Taco

I used to like this place, but lately, over the last six months they’ve begun to slip/​Quality is average, even for Del Taco. But customer service if where it’s really tanked.
They will forget something in my order literally 2 out of every four times I go there, which until now was regularly since I live a mere 10 minute walk away.
Today (2÷1÷16), going thru the drive thru, ‘Jose’ (that’s the name on my ticket) dropped my credit card onto the ground and didn’t even bother to apologize. I’ couldn’t open my door more than three inches and I drive a Honda Pilot which has a pretty high profile, so there was no reaching for it. I asked ‘Jose’ if he could have someone come outside to help. He said ‘no.’ Didn’t ask anyone, just said ‘no.’ Then he disappeared for a good minute before filling the rest of my order (which I had to check since he’s messed up my orders before). Still NOTHING… no help or suggestions as to how I can get my credit card. There were at least two cars behind me so there was no backing up. I had to have my eight year old daughter get out of the vehicle in a [packed drive thru to retrieve my card. Again NO apologize from anyone.
I’m no longer going to spend my money here at this or any Del Taco location. They just don’t care. So neither will I.

I had 2 people in my car and they wouldn’t take more than one order at the drive-​thru so they made me drive around twice just so my friend could order her food. That’s stupid think God I didn’t have 3 people or that would be 3 laps around the drive thru. I asked why she was making me do this and the lady with no name tag at window gave me an attitude as if people complain about this all the time.

Picked up ten items in the drive-​through from this establishment today. The person at the window asked me if I’d like any hot sauce, and I requested Inferno. She asked me how many, and I asked for ten (one for each item). Got back to the place I was going to eat at and it turned out she gave me 8 Del Scorcho… WTH, why even bother asking if you’re not going to listen? I wish I could say this is the first time this exact thing has happened at this location but it’s not, and now it’s Unilocal time. Scary to think about the idea they can’t get the hot sauce right and you’re about to ingest substances these people just prepared.

Bad customer service here! To the employee «Yecenia», thanks to the service I received from you when I visited this location, I’ll never eat here again. FYI when you choose to work face to face with people it wouldn’t hurt to be a little nicer to your customers!

Great quesadillas and you can’t go wrong with a half pound bean and cheese burrito for a buck;-) I’ve gotten lunch for a little over 3 bucks, can’t go wrong with that and their usually open late. They surprisingly have good churros as well. Their shakes are a step above normal fast food spots:-)

I like soft chicken tacos and 2 for $ 5 Burrito deal from this joint. I have to say they are not bad..

My box of fries was not even filled half way and on top of that they appeared to have been sitting out for a while. I did go around 3 in the morning but that doesn’t mean I want some stale food! Also, why bother to ask me what kind of sauce I want if you’re not going to put it in the bag? No receipt was given to me, and I’m starting to think it’s so that I can’t take the survey on there and give them a low score!

Best fast food quesodllas (s/​p) ever! There tacos are pretty good too! I always get good service here and have no complaints.

Close to El Camino College’s campus, lines during the noon hour can get really long. Service has always been good and I frequent the place at least once a week.
I’m usually here for the beer battered fish tacos of which I’ve had no incidents. It’s not out of the world stuff but still good… fast food.
Value-​menu is okay, especially for the college crowd. Free WiFi too!

My younger brother got food poisoning and spent the night before his 21^st birthday throwing up thanks to this branch. Please allow us to give zero stars Unilocal.Places like this Del Taco do not deserve any stars.

The service was polite and friendly, but the drive through order was not correct, I had asked for a special order and it was neglected, and there was no receipt with the meal, not that the receipt is a big deal.
I’d ordered tacos with «no cheese» and guess what? …there was cheese in both, and both shells were also cracked.
I’d say the intentions were probably honorable, as the guy was nice or at least sounded nice, but the execution was off, way off.
My advice? Always check your order before you leave. It shouldn’t have to be that way, but you’ve the only one who truly has vested interest in the accuracy of your order.

The worst Del Taco I’ve ever been to in my life and I’m 40 years old. The managers suck! They have fucked up my order the last 3 times I have been here. The managers are «pushy» and «assumptive». I don’t think they know how to count either because last time I was here the other manager short changed me. They just are rude and unprofessional. Who hires these incompetent fools as managers? The employees were more professional than the managers. Fuck this place! I will not be back.

I’ve always had decent experiences here. Specifically when coming with my friend from math class. We always make for great conversation while divulging on great cheap tacos and burritos. If you got a dollar you should come here because you’ll get your $ 1’s worth haha. The staff seem lame and bland but whatever, it’s a fast food joint across the street from a college.

This is about Del. taco drive thru. It was OK but they don’t let you build a meal. For example; Del Bacon double was too much to each so I said can we make it q single Bacon she said no. You can get a cheeseburger and add Bacon. That’s not want I wanted. But I ordered it anyway. No accommodations

Best drunk food. Chili cheese fries and a hand full of tacos. Yummmmm.

this place needs more reviews. seriously the spot is so convenient and the food is cheap while maintaining it fresh deliciousness. i love del taco way better than taco bell. the fries got better, very crispy now

Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t review a fast food spot like this, but seriously bad food and bad service are a no no.
It’s Del Taco so you aren’t really expecting much more than a greasy good time when you make the decision to stop here, but the last thing you expect is to get ripped off. I always order the Classic Tacos and they’re ¢.99 a piece which is about ¢.50 more than the normal tacos. With the additional cost you’re supposed to get twice the meat and twice the cheese… apparently not at this location. They basically give you the regular taco for the classic taco price and if you question it they become extremely indignant. I know it’s just a taco, but it’s also the principal that you’re holding up your end of the deal and paying more so they should respond in kind and give you what you ordered and paid for.
The drive thru can be a bit problematic as well at this location. They usually have music blaring from a speaker on the building and combine that with the noise of the buses and cars going by and I dare you to have an easy time placing an order out there.
Fast food is my friend so I’ll have to find another location in the area to get my taco and fries fix from when I’m scraping the bottom of the pudding cup (figuratively speaking) and just want junk.

Pulled into Del Taco for a dinner-​time burrito fix… they were out of beans. How can this happen?
