This is only good for a quick meal. The taste is really general, and I could say the taste is not that good as an asian. All the dishes have too much oil. If you are on diet, please avoid. I wish I did not tried this restaurant that day.

All time favorite place to go after class. Everything I’ve ordered off the menu has been quite palatable. Mom loves it, sisters always want to go back and forth for their house special soup and spicy basil chicken.

Would have gave them 3 if they put more effort in their food. Ordered G1 juicy pork dumplings, G3 shrimp dumplings and sauteed bokchoy but G3 dumplings smelled like raw flour. Even with one bite I could smell the flour. Literally a raw powdered flour. That’s how it tasted like. Bokchoy was little too salty but it tasted great so if they made it less salty I would’ve loved it. G1 juicy pork was okay. I’m giving a 1 star because of that shrimp dumpling. I only ate the fillings.

Pretty yummy! Dumplings are almost comparable to din tai Fung! Delish and reasonable prices! I only ordered one order of the«juicy dumplings» because I wasn’t sure how good they would be but they were yummy! We ordered take out so I can’t really comment on how the service was. It was clean and the parking lot is huge! Although the lot does have a lot of blind spots so be careful when navigating and looking for a spot to park! It can get a little crazy since it’s in a lot with a few other restaurants! Hungry people don’t always pay attention to other drivers, so consider yourself warned!

We tried this place since the next door was busy. We tried the orange chicken, small ribs and the sesame balls soup with wine. I didn’t like the soup at all. It felt like it taste like sweet bread in a soup. The small ribs were okay, my husbad loved them. The orange chicken was pretty sweet. I don’t think I would go back, I did want to try the pancakes but not sure since I didn’t really enjoy the rest of the food. The guy that served us was really nice and was trying his hardest to serve everyone, since it was only him and 1 other person(cook) in the back.

Unilocal Check-In: Free onion pancake! If you’re ever craving some good old Asian comfort food, then I recommend trying this place. I really like their steamed pork/shrimp dumplings — it makes me go nostalgic for my mom’s own homemade dumplings. The spicy wontons are also a great choice since the sauce is pretty flavorful. The onion pancakes are decent, but can be a bit too oily for some people. Other than that, the noodles are delicious and you’re bound to get leftovers. The flavors are great and enough to satisfy your dumpling cravings. Service is friendly, there’s plenty of seating and parking as well.

Soooooo the Beef roll pancake and the Mongolian beef is delicious. The combination fried rice was bland. The vegetable dumpling n pork dumpling was just ok. Service was so so could have been better. The server didn’t ask if we needed anything else or ask how is everything. I didn’t like the fact that my entrees came at different times like 10 – 15 between each dish. When we were almost finished my last dished arrived that i forgot i ordered. The only recommendation i would give is to try the beef roll pancake.

Came here tonight to try some juicy pork dumplings for the first time. They were cold on the inside. Definitely not freshly made… as you can obviously taste that they were frozen. Fried rice was hard, probably old; but still edible. Won’t be returning here again. We opted for ramen literally after walking out of this place. And only one waiter, really? Poor guy.

I’ve been here before and thoroughly enjoyed myself so I decided to bring my family to enjoy a nice lunch after going to the beach. I was so embarrassed bringing them here because it ended up being a ridiculous shit show. Service was crap because they kept messing up the order and some of the food items came out so slow(usually they’re pretty fast). I had to correct them on the receipt because they messed it up. We ordered the string beans, pork soupy dumplings, shrimp dumplings in hot sauce, orange chicken(my brother will only eat this, don’t judge me), tilapia in hot sauce, green onion pancake(if you check in, it’s free). The string beans were too bland today which was a disappointment because I was looking forward to these. Soupy dumplings were pretty good for this joint, but if you prefer the best ones go to din tai fung since they won’t disappoint. Shrimp dumplings were mixed with cucumber and it had a strong taste of cucumber which I wasn’t too fond of. Plus the dumpling dough was a little too thick & too much flour for my taste. Orange chicken was pretty good surprisingly… don’t think it’s like Panda Express because it ain’t. Tilapia was disgusting but then again I never expected their entrees to be good. The really good items here are the dumplings, green onion pancake, beef noodle soup, and the string beans(so far from what I’ve tried). These won’t disappoint. I wouldn’t venture too much in the entrée area since I’ve been disappointed one too many times. Don’t expect service to be off the charts here. All in all it’s was okay, am I coming back? Yes, but am I bringing my family? Hell no. I got an earful today, don’t need that. I’d rather take them to Alhambra or Monterey Park.

3.5 My brother and I went here and we got the juicy pork dumplings, beef pancake rolls, pork fried rice, and the complimentary green onion pancakes(if you check in on Unilocal). The food was really good, and we went in on a Monday so we were the only ones in the restaurant. There’s only one person in the front who took our orders, bring our food, and got our bill for us so I imagine that when it is crowded, it could take a while for everyone to get served. Back to the food-it was really delicious especially the pork fried rice. The dumplings were juicy and small, so they definitely had a lot of flavor. The beef rolls were okay, I just wish the beef had more flavor but the green onions were a great add in-if you don’t like green onions then I would skip this dish. I didn’t try the green onion pancakes because I was super full but my sister ate them when I brought them home and she said they were good but a bit oily. All in all a good place to go and get full off of delicious food and not spend a lot. Our order was around $ 25, including a soda that my brother had ordered. I would definitely come back!

Came here on the hunt for xiao long bao on the way to catching a flight home from LAX. I’ll keep looking next time I’m in town. Dumpling house is a tiny little restaurant in the burbs not far from LAX in a non-descript business strip dotted with other various restaurants and businesses. You can enter from the street or the parking lot. Enter from the street as I did and you sort of walk through part of the kitchen area. A bit strange but I’m here for the food, not the entrance. The crab and pork dumplings were ordered along with fried crispy whitefish of some kind, head on. They turned out to be the star of the items along with a pot of green tea. The fish were perfectly seasoned, moist and flavorful and were sprinkled with cilantro. The dumplings were mediocre at best. One sign of a problem before the first bite, no spoon to catch the gushing hot broth that’s the signature of this dish when done right. But no problem, there was hardly any so no spoon necessary. Still, they did not taste bad, just not as what I expect in the dish. Others have noted the same. I’m used to fine fare in Flushing, NY or Chinatown in Manhattan where these would cause a riot if served. Still, I found the fare OK, just not what I’d hoped for. Sometimes I hope Unilocal is off on their reviews or that I’ll score one of those days when the staff is at the top of their game. Sadly, today was not that day.

Well, that didn’t take long. Two weeks back from China and I’m already missing Chinese food. I went to Gardena to get my fix, and Dumpling House did not deliver. The Juicy Pork Dumplings and Juicy Pork and Crab Meat Dumplings were noticeably all different sizes, and each had only a few drops of soup inside. I could barely tell which was which because the fillings were so similar.(And yes, I understand that the only difference is crab, but that’s a pretty significant difference in taste!) The Shrimp Wonton in Spicy Sauce tasted generic, and though the pan-fried Lamb and Green Onion Dumplings were better, I was really sad to see that they had more juice than the juicy dumplings. Food coma accomplished, thanks to the Beef Roll Pancake, which is sadly, the best filling they make. Check in on Unilocal for a free Green Onion Pancake. Why they choose to give away the best thing they make is beyond my comprehension. There are several great restaurants in this shopping center so I would grab some pancakes… on my way elsewhere.

After work, my coworkers and I came here to eat dinner. Since my boss loves dumplings and I’ve been here before, I suggested we come here. For four people, we ordered plenty of dishes from dumplings to vegetables and rolls. The surprise of the night was the beef roll. That was delicious! There was a sweet sauce inside that was very delicious. The shrimp and pork soup dumplings were actually soupy this time so I really liked that. The pork was better than the shrimp. The green beans were very seasoned with garlic and sauce and we got the green onion pancake for free with the check in. The only thing that I noticed this time around compared to the first time I came here was that this restaurant does have a B rating, so be aware if you value that.

I like their xiao long bao and their bok choy… mostly! But not when I find A DEADSIXLEGGEDCREATURECOMPLETEWITHANTENNAEANDWINGSSIMMEREDINTOMYMEAL. The bug(ROACH?!) was found right after we finished our meal and packed the leftovers to-go. At this point, I had already given the waiter my credit card to pay. When he brought my receipt, I showed this bug to the waiter and requested a refund. He said there wasn’t anything he could do now, but he’d let the manager know. The waiter returned and said the manager would give me a 10% discount. Are you kidding me?! Ten percent is nothing. I declined this offer and the waiter asked me what I wanted. I asked again for the bok choy dish to be refunded at the very least. So I got the refund according to the new receipt and absolutely NOAPOLOGY during the entirety of my visit. The manager was nowhere to be seen. So much for customer service… Usually, I don’t mind finding a bug in my food. Accidents happen. But the bug is definitely large enough and ROACHLIKE that I have lost all interest in returning.(What else could have been inside the dumplings?!) My request for a refund of a single dish is extremely reasonable, I quietly notified my waiter so as not to make a scene, and it was unnecessarily difficult to fix this problem. Restaurants would typically pay for the whole meal or at least the single defective item immediately! I went home nauseous. I’ll be keeping an eye on my credit card statement… By the way, on a few different visits, we really liked the beef/veggie pancake and found that the sauteed string beans taste like pure salt. You can even chew the salt crystals!

Dumpling House specializes in Northern Chinese cuisine such as «bing», noodles, and dumplings. The flavors are decent but portions are a hit or miss. They offer a very limited number of vegetable entrees and if you are a vegan/vegetarian you must tell them«no meat». Some dishes under the Vegetable Entrees section are cooked with small amounts of meat even though the English description does not mention any, for example the Sauteed String Bean. Also, they have no vegan friendly soups. They use only animal-based broth here. I enjoyed the Mao Pao Tofu and the Sauteed String Beans a lot the first time I came here. However, the second time in my to-go order, I discovered a small piece of meat in my String Bean dish while chewing. That was muy unpleasant. Lastly, they do not have Lunch Specials of any kind, however, they do have a loyalty card which rewards a free dish on your 6th visit out of a choice of five dishes.

The plaza where this restaurant is located, there are many choices but we decided to choose this particular place. Their menu offers many many selections. From different types of dumplings, pancakes, noodle soup’s, and other Chinese favorites. We ordered the beef with yellow noodle soup, Beef field pancake, House special duck soup in a pot pot, and they’re popular pork dumplings. Their food is excellent! Tasty with a bit of spice flavoring in a couple of the dishes. The average cost per dish is around $ 8. Now I’m off I’m a fan of their food but, the only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because there was only one guy serving and taking orders. So we needed to wait before and after we were done eating. Beyond the service, the food is great. Will be coming back, thanks!

Almost to be expected because this isn’t SGV, their dumplings are a dud. They are fairly dry, bulky skin, and you must request the ginger. They have condiments on the table(soy sauce and hot chili paste oil) but no vinegar. Even though their dumplings are a dud, the thing that stands out is flavor in all their other dishes. The sauces are heavy & thick. They are glazed over any dish that you order whether it’s sweet and sour BBQ pork or eggplant or Mabo tofu, etc. Very delicious but on the heavy and emotionally remorseful side. I can only imagine how much MSG is used. Green onion pancake is oily and crispy, depending when it gets to your table. It’s gluten so of course it’s going to taste good. The twice cooked pork is sliced pork belly slivers sautéed in lots of oil with hot pepper cabbage & onion. They do charge for steamed rice, which is ridiculous in my opinion. Location: strip plaza with Bowl Thai & Boba time Parking: free parking lot
