This review is on Customer Service. I rated the one star only because I had to. I was in need of a couple of pairs of shorts, so I found what I needed and went straight to get in line. There was only one cashier at the time with an EXTREMELY long line. Luckily another cashier was walking up at the same time as I was. I asked her if she was opening, she said yes, and proceeded to ring me up with no problem(I only had 2 items and my cash in hand.). Then the cashier(short African American Woman… i didn’t see her name tag). Yelled from her register, «THEYWERENEXT!!» How rude and unprofessional(poor customer service). The new cashier did not summons for anyone to come from the other line, she just opened her register and started ringing. The cashier who shouted across the store needs to focus more on what she’s doing, and figure out how she can work with a sense of urgency so she wouldn’t have such a long line.

Long lines and bad service. Rude employees with NASTY attitude. Don’t go shop there because you will regret it. There is bad management at this store and for some reason corporation is not aware of what’s going on at this store. Don’t shop there!!!

midnight reviews? wadduuuuuup. as some previous people said, this place is definitely not for you if the atmosphere of the store is a big thing for you; it’s not trashy here, but it’s definitely not fancy either. be prepared to sift through a lot of clothes that’ll probably make you go «…what?», but at the same time, if you’re like me, you’ll enjoy the thrill of the search. [8 there are tops/shorts/dresses/questionable lingerie/a section in the back dedicated to random knickknacks/activewear/etcetcetc, the shoe section looks decent, random sneakers, high heels, all that; prices incredibly cheap; think $ 5 – 15 for most clothes, just don’t expect anything high quality hahah.

I love this place. I discovered it on the way back from visiting our lawyer’s office, downtown. At first it appeared to be a small discount clothing store, with several racks of women’s clothing outside the door — with a big sign which read ‘SALE $ 3′! When I stepped inside, I realized that it was actually a HUGE store, consisting of three floors, which housed many departments — women’s clothes & lingerie, children’s clothes and men’s clothes. There is also a basement area which has bath and bedding items, as well as shoes, some kitchen ware and home décor. The clothes are stylish and the prices can not be beat! I didn’t find many items for more than twenty dollars. In fact, many things cost between two and six dollars — cute tees, sweats, hoodies, bras, panties, dresses and skirts. Yes, it is crowded and disorganized. There were a few tops which were hanging up high on the wall and out of reach for anyone under 6 ft tall. My attempts to find a store employee to assist me, was futile. And there are no dressing rooms — which is why I try to stick with safe items, such as t-shirts or sweaters. Be warned — this is not Nordstrom’s — but definitely worth it for anyone looking for trendy fashions without spending a fortune.

If you only shop at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s, this place is NOT for you. It’s in a converted old manufacuring building with no air conditioning. It’s a little hard to find, so look for the Fallas Paredes signs on the west side of Figueroa just south of El Segundo at 15001 S. Fig. Getting into and parking, then walking through parking lot is a slight obstace course. Once inside, the music station of choice here is Latin Hip Hop, Sometimes there are lots of crying kids. But moms need to be here to save some big money. So if atmosphere isn’t as important as price, and if you like overstocks at a bargain, Fallas may be your kind of place. There are businesses near here that I have to visit. Snce I don’t like shopping much, I come in before the lunch rush or don’t come at all. When my timing is right and I get lucky, I can get in and out in 15 or 20 minutes. I really only shop the men’s department and the housewares. For example, they had some acrylic runner rugs for about 10 dollars cheaper than Wal Mart. They had some framed art months ago for $ 20 that sold at Michaels and other places for $ 50. You can get dinner places and pots and pans. You never know what you can find, and it’s strictly hit or miss. Sometimes, they get a big supply of Adidas and Nike T shirts. I play a lot of tennis and work on my garden. In no time, my shirts and shorts start to look ragged. So I go here where it’s $ 8 – 10 for those items. They sometimes have good prices on casual trendy shirts and lots of polo shirts and jeans. You might need a lot of time to go through everything to find the size and style you like. One catch is they have no dressing rooms in any of their stores. They also sell socks, underwear, and sometimes shoes. They don’t refund but have limited exchanges with receipt. In late winter, they start putting out their spring and summer stuff. In late summer before school starts, they put out their fall and winter jackets. Many of the ones I saw were sold last year at K Mart, Wal Mart. Kohls and similar discont stores. They have some Polo USA, and on rare occasions, some designer stuff in but they’re gone in a flash. I am real rough with watches and around Christmas and Father’s day. they have those for me for under $ 10 that supposedly retailed for over $ 40. There are lots of kid uniforms for schools because in LA, they make the kids wear them. But all of their stores carry kids uniform stuff, kids lunch pails, back packs, and more. Again, the beauty of this place is the prices, though it’s a wild adventure sometimes shopping here.
