The parking lot is a BIHH but it is really worth it. Once I find a park I walk in and walk out. They always provide great customer service and know the drinks. Im a frequent flyer here.

Really good boba it’s nice and sweet unlike most boba places that serve the generic kind of boba. I ordered an Almond Tea and my cousin got the Thai Tea.

Love this place! Their interior design is so strange and quirky that it’s hard to hate! I love their ordering system. You take a menu, get in the queue and wait your turn. I have terrible eyesight so having a menu to look at is much easier. The queues are always long but service is the fastest out of all the boba places I’ve been to. In and out in 5. Try their black sesame milk tea. It’s like a dessert with a hint of being a drink ;)

My experience at Honeyboba is always okay. So why do I keep going back? For me, it’s just become a convenient spot when I’m in the area and want a quick sugar fix. I think its also the mere ambiance; Yami Teahouse is just across the street but there’s something about those plastic yellow couches and the shiny lighting that make Honeyboba seem like a «cooler» place to hang out. Or maybe it’s just my sugar addiction. I’ll never know.

Haven’t ordered from here in a while but it was a little disappointing. Pros: nice decors, nice comfy seats, clean place, good drinks, and price is relatively slightly cheaper for the portion. Cons: Parking can be a hassle but I found parking immediately. This place can get busy real fast. The cashiers also make the drinks which is bad bad bad. The line got extremely long because the cashier also does drinks in between orders. My friends are sitting at a table and I’m stuck in the line for 10+min because they use this method. There were like 4 people ahead of me too… Bottom line: Good boba place and price is cheaper compared to other places but the service stinks because of how the place is operated.(it’s not the employees fault.)

This place has really spoiled me. Boba drinks served in larger than life cups that actually taste BOMB. I just can’t bring myself to go to other boba places that serve regular sized drinks now. I’ve tried a number of their offerings, but my go-to is the creamy honeydew smoothie(with boba of course). I tend to go in the afternoon around 2⁄3 pm, and while there’s always a bit of a line it moves quickly, even when people come in ordering 20 drinks for their entire family tree.

Best boba(chain) spot ever ! I did wait in line for ever, yet it was worth it because I ordered my Thai tea 80%(sweetness) with extra ice, and a taro milk tea and they were perfect in flavor, not too sweet and not to watery. It’s Sunday around 2:30 and the I want to say it was a 20 minute wait. I don’t mind waiting and paying for something that’s good !!!

I love Honey Boba. Whenever I am in the mood for boba I search for my nearest Honey Boba and I am never dissapointed, no matter what tea I get I am always happy after a visit. This is the 3rd location ive been to. Like other locations you get the same beautiful ambiance and décor. Unlike other locations this one doesn’t seem to be as packed, I think it may be because it is new. There were a steady stream of patrons while we were there on a Sunday afternoon.

I haven’t been to honeyboba in forever and since I was in the vicinity of one, I decided to stop on by. The décor is really modern! It looks like a cool place to study but since I just took my tea to-go, I really couldn’t look into it more. I ordered the ghiradelli milk tea with extra boba and my boyfriend ordered the mocha cappuccino smoothie with extra boba. I’ve been to the artesia location and I think they tasted better. The boba was overlooked at this location and didn’t have that distinct«honeyboba» flavor. It was just ordinary, over-cooked boba.(Sorry!) my boyfriend enjoyed his and didn’t think his boba was overlooked(maybe he had a new batch?). Eh.

This is the best Boba I’ve ever had. The Boba is always really fresh. I even went to another Honey Boba location and it wasn’t as good as this one. To everyone who says the service is cheap and they were treated poorly, this isn’t the Hilton. You have a bunch of young folks, trying to make a little money, getting paid minimum wage, on their feet all day. Have a little understanding. That being said, the drinks are delicious, and the boba is never stale and that’s why I go back. recommend: Jasmine Green Milk Tea.

— Locale Destination — It’s on Artesia Blvd and between S Western Ave and Normandie Ave in Gardena. It’s in a small shopping plaza. The place is so big for boba shop, where doesn’t offer food at all… Décor: Cheesy and cheap. You can tell all of the materials are super lower quality and built cheaply. The booth had a missing part on the side and showed how cheaply it was made. They put cheesy chandeliers to make it look fancy yet you see super high piles of boxes for the supplies everywhere. Why don’t you hide them back in the kitchen?! Ordering: no BIG menu anywhere — I’m not kidding. They have small to-go menus(smaller than your palm) at the register, which is your menu to order… You need to look at it and order there. Lame. Menu: Basically tea, slushy, smoothie(not fresh fruit kind I assume. Probably by powder or syrup kind) etc. Many varieties. They use their own lingoes for slushy and all, so it’s kinda confusing. Size: Cup is way too big(and wide) to fit in your car. Why do you use such an inconveniently too big cup?! It’s like the one at «Class 302». Not cool. Sweetness: From many reviews, I could see their 100% is ridiculously too sweet. I suspect this place is run by Koreans. Because Korean boba places are generally too sweet or too bland and suck in general. I usually avoid Korean run boba places. 25% sweetness was enough for me. Service: Very minimal Parking: plenty — Gluttony Expedition — Rose bud milk tea with honey boba and egg pudding: the tea tasted like artificial and water downed. Crap. I love rose bud tea in general but this was probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. Honey Boba needs a bit more honey for seasoning and sweetness. I prefer a bit less cooked boba. Egg pudding tastes like shit — flavorless. Avoid. — Conqueror’s Deduction — Why do people like this?! I don’t know. You can get tastier boba drinks at Lollicup(they also use artificial flavor syrup and powder) with cheaper price tag. It sounds very depressing. I’m not saying Lollicup is awesome. At least their drinks are a lot better than here, IMO. I don’t see lollicup around here. Why not?! Most boba places around here are crappy at best(you don’t see more than 4 star boba places in this area.), yet I’ll avoid this for sure.

Extremely busy, staff was just bla, they weren’t very approachable and didn’t smile. They seemed to be there just for a paycheck. No one smiled and they were just focused on making drinks. It was a mad house, so maybe that’s where the service fell short. A smile would go a long way. I love how they«apply the lids» and I think it’s super cool. I don’t like boba and opted for my smoothie without. I ordered the coconut smoothie to be safe(since I’d never been here before) and found the flavor fell flat. It was like I was drinking slightly flavored, with a hint of sweet, milky water. It wasn’t at all what I expected and the wait was not worth the time or money. They do have a very large selection to choose from, so I may go back to try something else. Powdery mixes with ice just don’t seem worth the money. I’d rather have something more flavorful and nutritional at Jamba Juice.

So I went when it was still barely new, have been back a few times after that, and have not been there recently. At the time, they seemed to be a bit understaffed for the huge boom in customers. Once they figured out a few things, they knew to add more staff. Cashiers have always been peppy and likable. Clientele can potentially come in all walks of life. Mostly young with a few oldies every once in a while. And then you have me, who is old enough to understand new technology but too young to fully enjoy my surroundings. I absolutely advise you to look at the menu while waiting in line. There are so many choices that you’ll want to have a good idea of what they offer before you decide, and you’ll have plenty of time in line to do so. Parking might be a bit tough if it’s a busy time. The lot is shared with other businesses around, and there’s also housing by there. Cups can be a little too wide for your car’s cup-holders. Don’t drink and drive.

Service is horrible. When I was walking towards the door I noticed the 3 workers one guy and 2 girls giggling and laughing at me while one of them was pointing at me. When i was ordering the 3 of them proceeded to be right next to the cashier and continued looking at me and giggling. Rude. Not sure what that was about. When we sat down to wait for our drinks, no one called out our drinks. Id also like to add we were the only customers here. We didn’t hear a word. We thought they would call out our drinks or something. So we continued to wait 15 mins. Another customer came in and got her drink immediately. And she walked out. I was about to question the employees why we didn’t get ours yet, but when we got to the counter guess what was there? Our drinks. They didn’t bother to even call out our drinks to let us know it was done. We also waited for 15 mins so why didn’t they say something when the drinks weren’t being taken yet? Oh that’s right, they are too busy giggling and gossiping behind the counter about lord knows what. Immature workers that don’t know anything about customer service. Boba was good, but was it good enough to get treated the way we did? No. So I’m never returning to this place again. One star for decent boba.

This is my all time favorite boba place. There has been some debate between the best boba place in the area between here and Yami(across the street), but for me this place takes the crown by a large margin. There are times that I will go to Yami and there is only one reason: the wait. Sometimes the wait at Honey Boba is out of control and sadly, Yami seems to be pretty slow these days. I don’t think this is a knock on Yami as much as it is a sign that Honey Boba is the real deal. Be prepared to wait in line for your order, but once you order the wait isn’t very long at all. Overall, it is still worth the wait. I would go here everyday if my metabolism would support it. Order one of these and you cannot go wrong! I thought my first visit would yield a much better experience. Sorry to say this is my last. 1) no greeting upon entry 2) no sense of urgency to help customers 3) one of the most tasteless and watered down thai iced teas I’ve EVER had(GROSS!!!) 4) beginning of 15 minutes = I and one other customer waited while 3 employees joked and wasted time… 5) mid 15 minutes = one employee thought it was funny for a high pile of plastic cups to fall over as 2 other employees tried to fix the machine that sticks the stupid cheap plastic to the top of the flimsy tea cups 6) end 15 min = at least 8 people stood in line waiting on service… none were greeted 7) the most contradictory«We’re hiring» sign I’ve seen(ability to perform tasks at high speed) That is what they could NOT do! 8) parking sucks 9) not ONE menu, banner, or sign posted in eye’s sight in the store; I had to search before I realized tiny menus were on the table in a plastic cup

33 oz of Thai milk tea and boba for just a little over $ 4? Works for me! Kind of an overwhelming menu but I guess you can get whatever you want. Forgot to indicate sugar level and wasn’t asked, so it was a bit sweeter than I would have liked. Good place to caffeinate prior to a 6 hour drive.

This boba place is almost just as good as Half and Half! The tea flavors aren’t really there, but it’s super close to me, so I’ll take it. The Gardena Honeyboba is a great place to study since they have a bunch of tables and super comfy chairs. Since I’m studying for a certification, I love coming here to just put on headphones and get my study on with some Honeyboba. I’ve had the green tea with honey boba and the almond milk tea with pudding. I actually don’t really like their pudding. It wasn’t very flavorful and kinda too soft. But the honey boba was very good! Soft and chewy. If you want a large, it’s only 50 more cents! Definitely worth it if you’re staying hours at the café to study.

Great place especially when boba craving strikes. Location was great. It was modern, new, clean with outside sitting area. Nice bamboo trees! Boyfriend got me Honey Boba with taro pudding and yes, it was super good! It was worth the drive! A favorite place for teens for sure!

Honeyboba is a pretty decent boba drink place. It ticks just about all of the things I look for in a boba drink place: tasty, quality ingredients, clean, good service, value for my money, and convenient parking. This location is pretty busy but not overly crowded. They make your drink very quickly and serve it in a giant cup. The serving sizes here are huge! 25 oz for a small is plenty for an average person. So far I’ve only had the rose milk tea. It was very tasty, with a subtle flavor of rose flowers in a green milk tea. Surprisingly, my husband liked it too. He usually doesn’t care for milk tea let alone floral flavored drinks. I’d definitely frequent Honeyboba if it were closer to home.
