Luis made the Guiness world record in 2015 for being the oldest barber in America. He is now 104 years old. He is an awesome barber and can cut hair very well. He does a fantastic job with fades. I highly recommend Luis.

I saw this barber shop near me and decided to give it a try. I asked Luis for a comb over/fade and I really liked how he cut it(I didn’t even know he could do fades). Luis has been cutting for a LONG time, so he’s definitely a skilled barber. Also, he’s a cool guy to chat with. I’ll be back for another haircut!

Best barber around. Our family has frequented Luis’ for 30 years. There can be a wait, but always worth it. You will never get a bad hair cut from this guy. He’s fantastic with kids, and never forgets a face.

Needed a haircut but my usual barbers were booked for the day. Needed a cut fast so i looked on Unilocal and the reviews were great. Went in on a Friday around noon, was the third person waiting, was lucky enough that a man ahead of me let me go ahead of him. Luis is an excellent barber. He’s fast, professional and gives quality cuts. He faded my hair well, cleaned up the top and finished with a straight blade line up. All that for only $ 13. He’s an older gentleman but can cut just as good as any of the other barbers out there. I would definitely come back,

Luis doesn’t just cut your hair for money, he loves doing it and cares about how you look. I’m very grateful for having met him. He’s a great barber and friend. He’s professional and caring. Not the mention his pricing is great. Most cuts 12 if not 13 dollars. He only takes cash which is the only down side but he’s worth it.

Been coming her for over 10 years now. No frills or thrills barber shop. Current prices $ 13 a hair cut. Come in take a seat and wait your turn. It’s a one man operation. Luis the barber will take good care of you. No appointments taken. Right across the street from El Camino college. Parking is plentiful. You need to come when he opens or late afternoon to beat the crowd sometimes

Been going to Luis since I was in 3rd grade. That was well over 20 years ago. The wait can be long but always worth it.

I first found Luis’ barber shop when I was at training at Honda. I went both time’s I went and I will agree the wait is long but I live in Fresno and NOONE uses a straight edge and takes the time to make sure you leave with no straggling hair’s. my road trip for this labor day is LUIS’. is this nuts to drive 4 hours to get a hair cut YES for me it’s a art that this man does. so LA bound on saturday.

Luis runs the place by himself and i found him a few years back and never switched barbers since. Does a great bald fade and other types of fades as well. I like that he is very fast and yet still does a great job. Sometimes it gets crowded but i tend to come near closing time so not too bad. Great person and we always talk about sports.

Been coming to Luis’ shop for over 10 years off and on, and he is the ONLY barber that consistently leaves my hair the way I like it. His razor fades are very well transitioned. Charges $ 12 too. Be prepared to wait sometimes, but worth the wait.

Awesome cuts! Luis is a professional! Old school barber from the old days. He does a great straight razor neck line. A fantastic business man’s cut or right back to the 50’s pompadour fade. Only bad part is this is a ONE-MAN-SHOW. There is room for another 2 barbers, but Luis is the only guy in there. If you show up and see two people waiting, you are in for a 45 min to 1 hour experience. Other than that, Luis is the tops. $ 12.00 for a normal men’s haircut. Can’t beat that. Eat your heart out Syndacite!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Luis’ Barber Shop since the early 90’s. I’ve tried different barber shops before but this one is the best! He is friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, accurate, and experienced. He’s known to get a bit busy but the wait is very worth it. I highly recommend Luis’s Barber Shop to anyone and everyone! Habla Espanol y es muy amable Luis. Lo recomiendo!

This is a one man shop. The barber was nice, but he rushed my cut. I’ve had much better fades and line ups that were rushed. I only noticed it when I got back to my office. Guess I’ll have to go home and touch it up. =T.

The best high and tight cut! Any prior service, still in the service, police officer or bangers that is looking for the best high and tight hair cut, this is the place. The fade is very good and Luis takes his time on cutting your hair, no matter who you are, current or new customer. He only works alone and the place is packed on Saturdays, so long wait if you have the time. Weekdays are packed too during the late afternoon. You can also call in for appointment. Good place to take your kid for his first cut, and a place to get a cut before a date. Price is good and I tip him $ 5 for the cut. A good barber is hard to find and I only get my hair cut at Luis’ Barber Shop.
