Subway

Its strange how a SUBWAY coupon (the one where u press the «redeem button» in front of cashier n have 5mins till expiration), work in some stores and not others. according to the cashiers at this subway. Either way, my cashier Clarena (?) had accommodated me and I have never felt more guilty and more embarrassed of complaining why subway coupons dont work at certain store due to owners being different.
I got my sandwich for the coupon price.
My 2^nd visit at this one and rhey have not ket me down where i have to go to another.

I am writing this review as a warning to all who patronize this Subway location. On Thursday at 4:40 pm I went to this location and bought 5 sandwiches; the sandwiches were OK nothing great but not bad either. My problem with Subway arose 3 hours later! I went to make a purchase at a nearby hardware store and my card was declined; I tired to look up my account via my cell phone, but I was blocked; I then called my bank and they advised my that my account/​card had been used at the exact same time at a different location. While I was in Gardena; my ‘card’ was being used in Costa Mesa. In a period of 3 hours they managed to charge more than $ 1,000.00 at different places in Costa Mesa, Ca. My bank told me that may card/​bank info had obviously been ‘stolen’ at the Subway in Gardena as it was used less than 1 hour later at a SUBWAY in Costa Mesa!!! Since this happened, they have tried to hack into my bank account more than 10 times. I have had to change my code several times and they keep trying to get into my account. Even though I made a police report, I know there is very little that will be done — as its is ‘nearly impossible to prove anything’; per the police department. My only consolation is to know that this SUBWAY has been placed on a «Watch» list and they will be checking them on a regular basis. BEWARE!!!

I am giving this place one star but I wish I could give minus 5 stars because of my bad experience a few nights ago with the rude staff.
I went to get a Tuna Sandwich before 8:00pm but I notices they were getting ready to close even when on the door says they close at 10:00pm. I asked for my food and the girls (young latina girls) were rude and would even let me talk or they would talk over every time I need to say something, i felt like this girls did not want to do their job and wanted to go home instead.
Please avoid this store if you can…

I really like coming to this subway because its turn led away and hidden from the world. Only those who live around here or have been here in the past actually know about it. Crowds here are minimal, but avoid lunch rushes because they don’t seem to be fully staffed.
Today my sandwich ninja (they’re not artists but ninjas FYI) was really great. She made me 2 sandwiches quickly and was very polite. When I asked for extra onions and olives she didn’t hesitate, she hooked me up. I requested she wrap the sandwiches in a particular way too and she didn’t hesitate or scoff, just did it. Definitely tipped them today!
The cashier though needs to get it together. He was the manager too! So sad. He forgot to give me my receipt for one and almost charged me for double neat on my sandwich when I didn’t ask for double meat. Nuh uh buddy! I told him and he apologized.
Turns out he didn’t have enough change in his drawer (good job manajer) so asked if I could step aside while he go get some. I don’t mind really, but little things like this you don’t forget!
Sandwich ninjas here are great! Fast and friendly. But the manager was definitely having a bad day. Lol

This subway has good employees that smile and actually do their job. Most fast food places customer service has gone down the drain but this place always has good prompt customer service and they keep me coming back for more. Keep up the good work:)

Locations kind of hidden but the bread is fresh and all my experiences here have been good. They have a small banquet room you can rent out. Good spot if you don’t want the crowds.

I dont usually write reviews for a fastfood franchise, however today i am either because my experience was amazing? Or the complete opposite.
I come to this Subway often, its a tad bit closer than the next subway on Artesia, but today I come in and order my Italian BMT and the server, Carlos starts making my sandwich and hes skimps out on EVERYTHING!
Literally no meat is overlapping. In that quick second I was debating if I should pay for double meat, then he gets to the vegetables and literally gives me the least amount of anything on my sandwich! A very thin bed of lettuce, he was decent with the spinich but once again all the tomatoes and cucumbers are spread about half an inch apart!
Once again i bite my tongue and stay silent as I ask for some onions and green peppers and he literally, i mean literally, no exaggeration puts a piece of onion, one on top of each salami! If you goto subway you know how small an onion piece is, he places 5 of them on my sandwich!!! Same with the green onions. At that point i asked him for some more onions and green peppers and he, piece by piece placed 5 more.
At this point i was so annoyed i just wanted to pay and get out of there.
My advice, buddy, you aint saving your company any money by being that shady. Subway probably already did their analysis and gave you instructions on the amount of proteins you put in each sandwich and stuff, they dont need you to go above and beyond and make the sandwich any skimpier. And to save cents from one sandwich, you have now lost a customer and I will be taking my hunger needs to the Arteaia subway from now on.

This place gets 1 star, simply because the lady who assisted me upon my visiting was genuinely sweet. Unfortunately, she was all over the place! Maybe it was because it was late at night and she was tired? Oh and did I mention there was no ice in the soda machine. I don’t think it’s that hard to make ice, or is it? I’ve never been to a subway out of ice.
I’m usually very particular about my sandwiches, then again who isn’t?! But my god, I’ve never had to focus so much on an employee making my sandwich. Anyways, I made the best of it, paid for my order and left. When I got home, my roommate and I noticed there was a FUNKY smell to the wrapper. It smelled like a salami cigarette! It was disturbing to smell and so we immediately threw the wrapper away and used our own plates instead. This was by far the worst sandwich I’ve ever had! Will not return again.

Subway, what can I say about Subway well first and foremost the service was pretty good. I was surprised because Subway usually doesn’t provide great service but today was the exception. The food taste good and it was very fresh. The store was clean. I would recommend this location to anyone!

This tucked away location keeps it known to only those who either work or live in in the area. The location is in the back of a strip mall with limited parking. The benefit to going to the same spots they get your order down!!! I ordered a BLT on wheat, no lettuce or tomato, with 4 slices of turkey. It awesome!!! After ordering it twice, as soon as I walking, they just ask «BLT» I smile and they make!!! Now its a chain, but customer service is huge with me! 5 stars!

Clean fast service. Bad parking lot!

this location is clean and orderly. It’s just a shame that is always been next to an abandoned building. It’s at the back of the and the plaza. However I been consistently please with the service here.
If you’re in the mood for something healthy in your on redondo beach boulevard in Gardena, this subway is a pretty safe bet.

I picked up another set of party trays for work for a group of 30 (previously was from the north Long Beach Location) as a thank you food for coming in on the weekend to continue our work.
Food is power baby! Do not under estimate the power of food. If you ask me to jump off a cliff for a fantastic food you’re putting me in the spot (Wait…, if I jump off then I can’t eat it…, no wait wait).
In short, the food was fresh and people have commented on it that it was good. The sandwiches did taste good, no complaints. That fresh bread high was there, nice aroma, made everyone’s day.
I chose this location this time for the party trays because I used to frequent this place (for the Subway stamps that they used to have) and I remembered not being let down by their food before. Side note: One let down, although not the location’s fault, was the subway wrap (So little for the price?! How can it be? I wasn’t the only one complaining as the customer ahead of me stared at it in disbelief. In reality, the absence of the bread takes away the visual presence, the meat and stuffing are the same, and yet it looked so skimpy. I can only guess that the synthetic ‘healthy’ tortilla, not a real tortilla at all, cost a lot thus the price remained high regardless of how small it looked).
