The music here is really obnoxious. Most people here come to study and this is just rude. Other than that, love the boba here and their sweet butter toast. Can’t go wrong with the combo. Free wifi, ample parking, off the 110.

I’ve been here several times over the past few years. This last time, a friend and I ate in. The food is ok, nothing spectacular, but is good. The diversity in the drinks and how they can be customized is probably the best part of going to Tea Station versus many other tea-houses. The restaurant itself is really nice and has a very open and inviting feel. One issue that prevents it from being a 4⁄5 is the service. It’s not bad, but I did not feel that they were very receptive or personable when ordering or checking-in. I was a server for 5 years, and this is something very important in shaping an experience. It was nothing too serious, but when we asked for things(ie: dipping sauce, or boxes) they were able to get it, however our server did not acknowledge that she even hear us some times. I may or may not come back, no offense to them, just don’t see myself going back unless it’s the only convenient place to grab a drink.

This review is purely based on customer service. I made a phone order for two jasmine milk teas with ¼ sugar. I asked the gentlemen in the other line to repeat my order for me and he stated two jasmine mild teas with ¼ sugar. I came to pick my order and after I paid I double checked and asked if he made my drinks with ¼ sugar. This gentleman’s response was«you didn’t tell me that» followed by a scowling face and a look that stated«well what the hell do you want me to do about it.» I apologized for the miscommunication(since this dull fool didn’t have the apt to do so nor the appropriate capabilities to provide adequate customer service) and asked if I can get my order corrected. I left the store and holy cannoli I only had one jasmine milk tea with ¼ sugar. Thanks tea station.

I’m actually here right now! This place doesn’t feel like USA at all, which is a good thing. We are having the taro bubba milk tea so yummy, tapioca milk tea, and coconut milk tea really good.

Wow, this spot was happening for a Monday night. My friend suggested this spot as an after dinner night cap. We were able to find a seat easily. I can’t recall the last time I had tea like this. It’s very spacious place with a lot of chatter all around. The smell of fried food lingered and was almost enticing. Maybe next time, I’ll give it a try. Their menu is a bit overwhelming if you’re a newb, but I managed to figure out my order. I ordered the warm taro milk tea and requested ½ the portion of sweetness. My friend ordered warm rose tea. I also ordered their strawberry toast. My tea was delightful, but a tad too sweet for my taste even at ½ the sweetness. My friend let me sip her rose tea. It was aromatic as a freshly bloomed rose and it surely tasted like it, but not in such a way that would make you scrunch your face. My only regret was getting the strawberry toast. I know strawberries aren’t in season and maybe I had an expectation of receiving the toast that is topped off with real strawberries. Alas, it was jelly. The service seemed non-existent. We had constantly hunt down our server. It’s an interesting place to people watch for sure especially one of the young servers who looked like he was a fast walking zombie or that it was just past his bedtime. The takeaway Study their menu, there’s a test later. Jk. Ask for real silverware for the toast because their plastic ones just don’t cut it(pun intended). The non-existent service can actually work to your advantage; you are able to have a non-interrupted conversation with your friend while people watching. It’s a bit loud, so you can actually use your«inside voice.»

good tea good vibe with pretty authentic Taiwanese food. You can dtudy, chill with frienrds, and watch your movie here. Waiters are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Alot of Asians here. But the Taiwanese sausages I got was kind of burnt.

My first two times here I didn’t order anything because I wasn’t interested in Boba drinks or anything like that but recently my friend wanted to eat dinner here and I accepted… It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I ordered a green, iced drink called HoneyDew and a yummy entrée that I can’t remember the name while my friend ordered tea eggs and a hot tea. My experience was nothing out of the ordinary; there isn’t anything here that would compel me to say, «Hey, let’s go to Tea Station!» But if I were invited there again, I would probably accept. The staff here are friendly for the most part. I was next door at Yagyu for some noodles yesterday and my boyfriend & I wanted something sweet to drink so conveniently enough, Tea Station was right next door. I thought the drink I ordered previously was WinterMelon(because melons are green and the HoneyDew drink was green) and the guy who took our orders seemed rushed so I tried to make it quick. I asked him what WinterMelon tasted like so I could make sure that was it and he said«WinterMelon tastes like WinterMelon.» What does that even mean??? So I said«Uh… Okay I guess I’ll just order HoneyDew since I have no idea what that means.» Then I looked through my photos and saw that I had taken a picture of my previous drink so after I had paid for my drink, about 2 minutes later he came back and I asked him what this drink was, showing him the photo. He said«That’s HonewDew.» I said oh, can I change my drink to that instead? And he said no, because they already started on making my drink. Bummed out, and baffled why you can’t just change my order like any other normal food and beverage establishment, i said okay and sat down. About 7 – 10 minutes after that he came back and asked me if I wanted to change it to WinterMelon now. So first my drink wasn’t even being made yet and then I had to wait longer for it because I had to answer his question on what drink I wanted, and it but was just an irritating experience altogether. This place is pretty big with lots of seats and tables, it doesn’t seem to be busy in the afternoon but in the evenings they can get pretty packed. Their parking lot structure kind of stinks too, that’s not the fault of Tea Station though. To dine or drink at any restaurant in this complex is tough because parking is difficult and very limited.

Sucks on a whole new level. Went with my parents and my dad didn’t order anything and they essentially kicks us out after sitting there for 30 minutes ANDAFTER we already put our order in and was waiting for our food to come. A while after we put our order in, the light brown haired waitress told us that we each had to order something. Lol I was like what? I know a lot of places have a minimum order but usually if it’s a certain total amount on our order they’d let it slide. EVENTHOUGHTHEPLACEWAS80−90% EMPTY they were enforcing this retarded rule on us. I was like«you really need a sign that says that we’ve already waited here for 30 minutes and we already put the order in», she’s like«it’s on the menu». Rude. Honestly couldn’t tell us when we ordered? So yup we were getting up and leaving and she tried to make me pay for our order to go. LOLPLEASE. Learn some common sense girl. Worst customer service, train your uneducated workers.

Very nice hang out spot. A big selection of teas, shaved ice, and snacks to hold you over. We went after having some sushi nearby. We wanted a sweet treat. As soon as we walked in there was a fresh young staff member there to welcome and seat us… but you can just seat yourself if ya want. The menu is vast ranging from hot teas, milk teas, sweet and savory appetizers, to shaves ice. Mmmm. I ordered the Matcha ice cream milk green tea with boba. Total: $ 6 – 7 I got to choose the level of sweetness. It was yummy of course you can’t really go wrong with tea. My sister ordered fried bread with condensed milk for dipping. Delish! We also ordered a sweet buttered toast. A thick hunk of bread with a sweet buttered crust on top. And we got some fried chicken fingers. Which were really good. The barley black tea is also superb. Nice servers, cool music. Just sit back and relax

To me this is your average tea shop. There is a lot of foot traffic through this spot. it never gets old! A new generations of students cycle through every year hehe. I personally could never study here because the music is so loud. The drinks here are good and they also have a pretty dense menu ranging from dessert, finger snacks, to full on combo meals… and get this, its all tea flavored! Parking is fairly okay but this plaza is packed with a market and other tea spots, bakery, and restaurants. You can order at the register or at the table for a full service experience.

Great spot for working or catching up with friends. I specifically come here to work on assignments — free wifi, a lot of tables, but unfortunately there are only two outlets available. Music can get a bit loud(top 40 and EDM) but I don’t find it too distracting. Tea Station also gives me a sense of familiarity and reminds me of the 626 and college. A variety of tea-flavored entrees and snacks — everything tastes a bit on the sweet side to me. However, the boba is perfect. One of the few places with authentic milk teas and the right consistency for the tapioca. I’ve only gotten really good service here, the food comes out quickly and they are attentive but leave you alone if they see that you’re working. Stays open late!

Service is usually on point, but I guess it could be hit or miss because one night a friend of mine and I came at about 9:30PM and our orders took so long to come, we got up and told the we were leaving. But other than that… Typically, the servers are super fast on brining out menus and getting our orders in ASAP. You can’t go wrong with any of their teas, sometimes I feel just so overwhelmed with the amount of drinks they have, I just go with almond milk tea, which is perfect in every way(even warm and without boba). You can’t go wrong with their other drinks though! Their food is even awesome! As a vegan, I’m really limited when I go to regular restaurants but I enjoyed their veggies an rice that they had, yeah I know it sounds boring, but it was still really good. My sister one time got a combo that had some marinated veggies and I stole some, that was really good too. But I mean if you want real Asian food, I would go somewhere else, this place is just good for boba and snacks. I love how this place is open late, this is probably the only reason why I come so often!

Standard tea station(harhar) with elevated prices. The teas here are really sweet even at half sugar so take that into account. Still, I do enjoy ordering a drink every now and then for any occasion. I really have little to say about their drinks other than go for what you like and get it with half as much sugar as you would normally get it. Onto the food. Everything is tea-infused, which I guess implies that they inject a syringe full of tea into all the food rather than letting their food sit in a huge vat of tea or steamed with tea(obviously the syringe idea is most plausible). The food is pretty decent and they give a fair amount of varied side dishes and egg drop soup. My go to is the pork stew with rice, gotta have my egg! Thus, if you choose to eat here, you’ll be satisfied, but not blown away.

Call me crazy for giving 2 stars… drinks are good, thats for two star… i know how the drink places go,… they have millions of people to serve and they just keep coming… there were little more than 10people… about 10 people for to-go, coming in and out… and the 10 people in store were already served and another couple in front of us, they came in 5 minutes later than i did… and we waited about 20 minute since coming in and getting my drink and this is after reminding them that they forgot my order… the guy who took my order did not apologized and avoided me the whole time… another guy got my order right away(because it was already ready) and he apologized… either way they take their sweet time getting your order, and getting it… i mean forgetting about it, and to get your bill… so i got up for the third time to pay it off… i’m not too critical about wither they smiled or not, or that it was inviting atmosphere, its freakin tea house, its gonna be loud and the service will be slow, but to avoid your customer and not to have common curtesy… i’m sorry i can not be nice either… on the side note, someone said that they had a new speaker system… it was crap… and they start playing this when i had to give a «listening» test… this part is my fault for going to place where they are going to be load… but blasting good music on crappy speaker is no go…

This place has probably the best tapioca balls in the South Bay. All of their teas and drinks are really good. Plenty of parking. Food is decent. Sometimes there are employees who can’t speak English but the drinks are worth it. Definitely check this place out for at least their boba drinks.

I love Tea Station because you can actually order whatever amount of sugar you want. You can also order you drinks without sugar and a lot of boba places do not do this because other boba places pre-make their teas and add sugar into the batch. We stopped by after dim sum and the place was pretty empty. We really liked our experience because it was fast and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!

Service is better during the evening than it is during the day. During the day, they’re slower and less attentive. The drink selection is really good. I’ve tried several drinks and would recommend a few. For iced milk teas, I’d go with the Green Milk Tea, Taro Milk Tea, or Honeydew Milk Tea. For hot milk teas, I like the Thai Milk Tea or Green Milk Tea. For regular iced teas, I really like the Lychee Iced Tea. I’d get these drinks with or without boba. The tea itself is really good. I’ve mentioned this in other reviews on boba places — I always adjust the sweetness on my drinks to half-sweet. The popcorn chicken is pretty basic. I could pass on it, but if a friend gets it and lets me pick at it, I would. The ramen is decent, but I’d only get it if I’m really hungry. Great for coming with big groups.

I have been to Tea Station at various locations, but it was first time at this branch. I like many of Tea Station’s drinks and snacks, however their service is always kinda questionable. I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case here, but sadly it was: / Some of the servers were friendly and cheerful, but the rest looked very unhappy to be there. I tried to loosen them up and be nice to them, but I have failed. They weren’t so pleasant until the end. It is so sad that I have to be the one to be considerate when I am the customer. Oh well, everybody has a bad day… Once they have served the drinks, they sort of abandoned us and we had to literally flag them down for our check. After all, drinks were yummy and I was able to have a joyful, long chat with my friend thanks to their non existence service: p

I only come here when I want to get boba at Oko Café next door. My co-workers and I usually come over here for lunch, then head over next door to get boba. They have a pretty big meal Menu. I had only tried their beef and pork dishes, which comes with rice and side dishes. They state in their menu that their dishes are tea flavored. Most of the dishes tastes the same and is very salty. Their rotating side dishes are ok, but most of the time I cannot seem to taste it due to the salt they put in their main course. Recently, I discovered the beef bowl which is not as salty(but it tastes surprisingly like Yoshinoya). So, that has been my go to dish. I think this place is a 2 star, but I upped one star because I love their sweet butter toast. It is so flaky and tasty. We usually get one to share for the table. Service is usually slow for this place(even when it’s not busy). I usually try to wave them down and they will come over.

My friends and I decided to stop in here for some hot milk tea after dinner nearby and it turned out to be a pretty nice place to hang. It’s new and spacious, with nice décor. The way they serve their drinks are pretty interesting too – my hot milk tea came in a ceramic bowl with a ladle. It tasted good and hit the spot on a chilly night. We ended up having a nice time sipping our tea and chatting. Even though it was a weeknight there were quite a few people in there(mostly college student types) – looks like a popular place. The young waiters seemed a little inexperienced and overwhelmed and kept forgetting our requests for various things, but since we weren’t in a hurry we were in an understanding mood and didn’t mind too much. I wouldn’t make it a destination, but if I’m in the area I wouldn’t mind stopping in – as long as it’s not too crowded, that is. STEPHJUDGEMENT: Service can be a bit harried and forgetful, but not a bad place to hang.
