So the food wasn’t that great. Came in for lunch and was a bit disappointed with the meal after reading so many good reviews. Maybe breakfast is better? My mom ordered the cob salad and asked for it to be tossed. It came out not tossed and when my mom informed the waitress of this her response was, «well you can toss it yourself.» Great icing on the already disappointing cake.

We stopped in the Yellowstone Grill twice during our stay in Gardiner and visit to the Yellowstone Park. Before I start with the food, let me mention the staff — Even when the restaurant was overflowing they were kind, offered refills on coffee, and checked in with guests. The food was outstanding, and they offer house made gluten free breads, which were amount the best I’ve eaten. No complaints. If you visit, Yellowstone grill is a must stop!

One of the best breakfast places we have been to anywhere. We ate here two of our three mornings in Gardiner, and both times were excellent. They even make their own gluten-free bread.

Really outstanding breakfast. Great little shop right on the main traffic route. Serve staff is very nice. Price of breakfast was a bit more than expected but definitely worth it.

Good breakfast. Thick bacon, a lot of hash browns. But do yourself a favor and save room for a cinnamon bun, they were amazing

Cute little breakfast and lunch shop on Main Street. Hoped in during the middle of winter and even were met with morning live music from a local band practicing and warm cinnamon rolls, good coffee and a nice variety of breakfast choices

After 3 days of national park food in Yellowstone, this was a very welcome change. Burritos and tacos were made to order fresh, nice coffees and drink. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent brunch. I had their Eggs Benedict and Bob enjoyed the Yellowstone Scramble. In both dishes, the eggs and homemade muffin and the sauce were excellent. The coffee was a nice French roast and we both toasted our anniversary with a delicious Mimosa(highly recommended). The wait staff was attentive. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Only recommendation to improve the experience would be to substitute real potatoes cooked with a crispy, flavorful finish instead of barely browned frozen hash browns. Keep those!

Schalene & the crew at Yellowstone Grill were fantastic. They opened a bit early for our television crew and provided all the to-go breakfasts & sack meals we needed. I would highly recommend them!

Had a great breakfast — the special for today 12÷9÷2016 was carnitas and eggs with verde sauce. There is a great menu but don’t pass up the specials. This winter season it was closed for dinner but I wished it had been open, there are no choices in the winter except pizza, subway and the Best Western and a lot of out in the park were talking about the grill being closed! The Mammoth Grill in the park doesn’t seem to change their menu — ever. The Yellowstone Grill food is always fresh and reasonably priced. Plan to eat there again when we are back in May.

Great food. Lucky to find it on Unilocal as most other options were not great. Chicken Thai wrap was excellent. Our kids ate bean burrito and grill cheese and both were crazy good(seriously, how’d they make grill cheese so well?). Signage is strange outside – has an ice cream«open» sign, but they don’t sell ice cream. Hours are a little strange too as they close at 2 most days. Other places weren’t even open at lunch time even though their signs said the should be. Maybe October is hit or miss in this small town.

It’s great to eat at a place where the people care how the food tastes. The best fresh cinnamon rolls. Nice hot breakfast. Suddenly two guys finish their coffee and start playing music and singing. What a delightful place in a town where people spend one night or drive thru.

Great stop over when the restaurant we wanted to visit was closed. Luckily for all of us it was really a great decision. There is plenty of variety for all the different diet needs everyone had. The fact that they blend American with Mexican including breakfast and lunch was really helpful for a big group. To top that off I don’t think anyone at the table had a complaint of what they ordered. I really have to make a second section here just to talk about the staff. Everyone who helped us out was all smiles. Even though we arrived an hour before closing and the line was nearly out the door. I was stressed out for them just standing there but they remain school and calm, making jokes and playing with us throughout the meal. It’s really great to see people who are enjoying what they do.

Great find! Thanks Unilocalers. Very friendly, clean and fast. Breakfast was delicious and the BACON! For you bacon lovers, the trip is worth the bacon alone.

Everything was great. We had a burrito, a burger, and a sandwich and they were delicious. And fried cheese curds. Service was lovely, accurate, friendly and efficient. Restaurant was cozy and very clean. So far, my favorite place to eat in Gardiner.

They must have been having a bad day. Got there about 1:30 Sunday. Most of the tables were unbussed and dirty dishes everywhere. The floors were filthy. They ask for a gratuity when you pay, so what are you to base that on? A filthy restaurant? The grill cook not wearing latex gloves as he handles your food? The back door hanging open and flys buzzing around? So we ordered a burger and a Reuben with chips. The sandwiches came without chips. «We’re out of chips.» Really? «You should have ordered French Fries.» Don’t waste your time and money here. We’ll never be back.

Do not pass this place by! They cook everything to order and make the breads in house! Amazing customer service! I had the old faithful breakfast with English muffin toast and homemade jam! Also, order a dirty chai pretty good… It gets pretty busy so try and stop in early. Get a cinnamon roll or baked good for the road! I will be going back!
