Yellowstone Raft Company

This raft company is amazing. My wife and I went for her birthday and we had so much fun. Rob was so knowledgeable and such a patient instructor. We went eight miles down the river and it really felt like the best value town. Super convenient pick up location and all the equipment was in really good condition. We did a half day rafting with them today and we all had a blast. My 3 kids (7 – 13 yrs old) LOVED the experience and everything was well run. Definitely recommend to anyone who is ready for some excitement.

I can’t believe I’m the first reviewer for this place. My husband and I had a wonderful experience with this company on a half day rafting trip. It was storming on and off that day but we lucked out and were rain free for our rafting trip. The river was also at record high levels for late May so we were moving fast down that river! The staff were incredibly professional, safety-​oriented, and friendly. It was nice to be able to borrow warm weather fleece and wetsuits to make the ride more comfortable, all free of charge except for the $ 2 neoprene booties. Our guide, Liz, was great and in addition to being a great river guide, also gave us wonderful restaurant suggestions for the Gardiner area. She’s a great resource. We saw the wilderness around Yellowstone from a unique vantage point, learned a few things about the local geography, and got some light exercise too! Also, my husband and I are usually skeptical on up-​charges like a photo DVD of our trip, but the photos were too good to pass up so we went ahead and purchased the DVD, 25 high quality images for $ 40 seemed reasonable compared with other companies prices. all in all, a highly recommend company and we’ll definitely use again on return trips.

Really nice people! We loved both our guides, and even met our other guide getting burgers in town. We loved the experience and would come by again if we are in the area! They are knowledgable and friendly and we would recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

Our guide was Chris, who is working on his master’s in snow science. Being from North Carolina, it was a treat to learn about something we had never encountered. He knew a ton about the geology of the area which was great for a bunch of geeks like us.
The trip was fantastic for us-​we had my parents and children-​so senior citizens and grade school alike did well-​just enough white water to be interesting and not scary. One of the best parts of our Yellowstone trip by far.

I can’t believe I am the first reviewer for Yellowstone Raft Company.
We did a full day rafting at July 23 2013. Great place if you want to get wet in a hot day. Very friendly people who work there. Our guild is Mr. Parker, he is not a very chatty person but he did answers all of my 3 kids questions, and we did have lots of questions. Mr. Parker has eagle eyes, he spotted many animals and birds for us. I wish the water can be rougher, but this is out of everyone’s control.
Overall, this is a highlight of our Yellowstone trip. Highly recommended.
