Very expensive. Too high priced for me, but I got a great workout running up and down stairs

The Factory Coop is right around the corner from Rome Furniture. I almost didn’t stop here only because out of all the outlets I have heard of on TV, I hadn’t heard of this place. We entered in the basement bargain room which was pretty vast with lots of bargains. I wasn’t sure if this place was going to be where we bought initially starting out in the basement room. We finally navigated our way to a set of stairs up to the main showroom. A witty salesman on the 2nd floor asked if we needed any help or had any questions, we said«we’re just looking around but we can’t get too lost.» His reply«Well there was a couple in here two weeks ago and we’re still looking for them!» Zing! Anyway, he guided us up one more flight of stairs to floor 3 to dining rooms. At first I was dismayed cause the styles weren’t my taste and a few prices were between 4−5K, ouch! But we wrapped our way around the next corner and there it stood. A handcrafted dining set from Ohio Amish Country. Simple, classy, but slightly country at the same time. The craftmanship is truly impressive. We glanced at a few more sets and just couldn’t walk out of the place without finding out more about the Amish set. The salesman eventually wandered over to see if we had any questions about the set. He told us this one Amish company they work with is a very simple operation and they will make your set for you from scratch. He had been out to Ohio himself to visit the operations and he said they really have no electricity to work with. All lighting is gas lamps and there are no telephone poles as far as the eye can see. His account of the company and it’s simplicity just struck us as really cool. The Amish really enjoy making furniture and they take a lot of pride in their work. For such a finely crafted product, the price was reasonable in our eyes. We were really impressed how much the salesman knew about this company and you won’t find this at most furniture stores in the Boston area. Definitely give this showroom a chance when you’re in the area even if you haven’t ever heard of it. The sales staff were very nice and very informative. We had the utmost confidence in our purchase and the workmanship of the dining set we selected. Shipping to our house is $ 99 and includes set up which I thought was pretty decent all the way from Gardner to the Merrimack Valley area. They only required a $ 30 deposit and we pay upon receipt of our set either cash, check or credit card. Can’t wait for it to come in!
