I’m not at all ashamed to say that I’m here often enough that they all know my name and exactly what I order on each particular day. Wonderful service, everyone has a bad day once in a while, some other reviews are a little harsh.

Came here on an evening after having dinner at Chopsticks because the kids wanted hot chocolate. The service was good the lady in the counter was really nice.

Giving Starbucks a bad review seem strange. I mean Starbucks are all the same right? For some reason, not this one. I’m assuming it’s a management issue, everyone just seems upset and they are very brash with customers, seldom smiling unless it’s contrived. One one occasion I heard as one employee degraded another, it’s an unusual experience. It feels like no one enjoys working there, I still go, because options are limited near by, by limited there’s only a drive through coffee place. If another coffee shop opened I would for sure stop coming here.

I have been to this location at least 20 – 30 times over the past couple years. Being from Markleeville my options are rather limited close to home. But I must say that time has not changed the experience here. I would say they have gotten my drink right probably never. The staff seem disoriented at best and out of sync with each other. My visit this morning will be my last. I will drive across town to Minden to avoid this place. BTW the Minden store has much better customer service and they usually make my drink right. Okay so the lady at the counter was obviously overwhelmed by her job. She was snapping at the younger staff in front of customers – very bad form. She then asks me for my order without even cracking a smile. I had to repeat myself 3 times before she got it right. I told her I had a reward and had my phone ready to scan. She then asks me «is that a regular?» I asked«regular?» She then asks again««is that a regular?» I asked again«what do you mean by regular?» She then expands rudely«is it a regular or birthday reward? I need to know. I need to know which button to hit.» I replied«regular. I have never been asked that before.» Her poor customer service and irritability was so off-putting. Than they made my drink wrong(forgot the breve) and when they made it again it was luke warm with foam when I ordered extra hot and easy foam. Ten minutes had already past and now the line was almost to the door so i didn’t have them try again. I figure since I pay over 5 bucks for my coffee they should get it right and serve me with a smile.

Love this Starbucks, much better than the one in Minden. At least this one can make drinks with some consistency. HOWEVER, and perhaps this review would be better placed on with the company instead of this specific store… but, as a gold card holder, why do I only get one star when I purchase four drinks in one transaction?! This doesn’t seem fair at all. It seems like something that should be quick to fix on the computer. It doesn’t seem so hard that it would be impossible for the company to come up with a program or tweak their program so that it can determine how many drinks you have ordered. I feel like I am getting ripped off by the system and from now on will be requesting the cashier ring up each drink in my order separately.

As a loyal Starbucks fan and regular customer, I’m sorely disappointed with this particular Starbucks. Although the interior is clean and the arrangement of furniture is to be admired, the customer service is the very worst I have experienced at any Starbucks, from Crete to Lima, Peru. Snobbish would be an understatement. On three occasions over the past two years, I have had the baristas«forget» to make my drink altogether, and when I have gently brought this to their attention, I have been met with looks of contempt and disgust. Management — please step in and clean up the attitude! Thank you!

When I drag myself in here at 0’dark thirty before work I’m always greeted with a smile. Good coffee, I love that they have the clover which makes such good coffee. Employees are quick about getting your drinks and make starting the day at 530 a little easier.

I came into this Starbucks yesterday for a Cup of Joe(Black) and a Newspaper. They were out of the NY Times, but the Reno Gazette and WSJ were available. My Tall/Small coffee was served with a smile by Janice and both staff and customers were in good cheer coming up to the New Year. The only downside to this place is it’s strip mall location and a few challenging turns(mostly to avoid darting cars) to get here. The interior space is also interesting, particularly the long«computer table» in a semi-separate room to the left.

Had a great visit yesterday morning. Three grand kids enjoyed their oatmeal with fresh blueberries and hot chocolate. My ‘clover’ Christmas blend made by Danielle was excellent, and I’ll continue to frequent this location. Nice Job.

The remodel is great, but the service leaves MUCH to be desired. On two separate occasions in the last month I left there wondering why I went back. One barista was not only rude to me, but was yelling at her coworkers. Awesome.

Oh my GOODNESS the remodel is GORGEOUS! It has created such a great environment to spend time in! I really love the new set up and expansion. Very friendly and wonderful staff! Great Starbucks! :)

I visit so many different Starbucks when I travel and their drinks for the most part are pretty consistent, so I tend to rate based on their customer service. This one gets the highest rating… we were greeted by cheery, happy employees who welcomed us like we were entering their home. We were on our way to Tahoe, and even though we knew the path, one employee drew us a map of the best route. She was so personable and charasmatic. The store was a little on the small side and had patio seating. One employee wished us a good day outside on the way out. Thanks for a wonderful experience. Will come back next time we are this way.

For me, Starbucks locations earn their points by being friendly, accurate, and quick. Compared to other locations in Northern Nevada, this one is very good. They almost always repeat back your order if it is complicated and almost always get you the correct product. Friendliness and speed are not as consistent, but have never been a real problem.

Staff was nice… This location is smaller then what I’m use to, but that’s okay. It was after 2pm when I visited and I was given the after 2pm drink discount no questions asked!!! Thanks guys… You rock!!!

This review is based on visiting this location regularly over the past 2 – 3 years. Also, my 4-star rating is relative to all Starbuck’s locations, not restaurants in general. This is one of the friendliest groups of folks you’ll ever find working at at a Starbucks, and they really, really know their drinks. The barristas quickly learn your name and your favorite drink, so this place really has the feel of a neighborhood, locals’ coffee shop.(This is part of the overall culture in Gardnerville, by the way.) Amazingly in such a tiny shop, there are often 4 – 5 employees on any given shift. This is necessary to attend to the line of happy customers who go out of their way to patronize this specific Starbucks. The only reason I’m not giving this a 5-STARbucks rating, is that the store is TOOSMALL. If you get there mid-morning on a winter weekend, you may not be able to find a seat.(This is a very small store with only about 4 small tables inside and another 4 – 5 small tables outside.)
