Friendly staff, great food and they remember the little things, such as kids, wife and other members of my family. Absolutely love them and will continue to give them business. FYI: Try the spicy beef and honey pork

Me and my boyfriend love this place! The food is extremely fresh and delicious, and, in my opinion, they make the best Thai tea in the world! Fair warning, spice rating is one to five; be careful with the four and five. You’ll cry a lot. lol

Fast, no-nonsense, but friendly service. Food served hot(temp-wise). Generous portions. Very fresh tasting ingredients. I ordered the Shrimp Curry. On a scale of one to five for spiciness, I chose 1 or 2, and it was as hot(spicy-wise) as I could eat it. Wonderful pieces of pumpkin in it and delicious broth. Good-sized shrimps. Very tasty egg rolls off the appetizer menu. The Sweet and Sour Shrimp was nicely done with generous number of good quality shrimps. Generous bowl of Jasmine rice came with it.(See the four photos I added.) We noticed they do a healthy take-out business, and we grabbed a take-out menu for ourselves. We don’t know why we waited so long to try it. I highly recommend stopping in this place tucked away in the little mall behind the Arco gas station on the southwest corner of 395 and Toler. Add-on Review 01÷18÷16: I had the left-over shrimp curry three days later, and it was delicious cold. Still tasty with good crunch on the shrimp.

I tried this place at the recommendation of a friend. Maybe its just what we ordered, but we were really disappointed. We had the pad thai and an order of shrimp tempura. The first thing I noticed about the pad thai was the smell of fish sauce. The fish sauce is supposed to add a flavor dimension, not over-power the dish. The pad thai was drenched in a goopy, sweet, and flavorless sauce, and at $ 10.95 was overpriced. The shrimp tempura was not battered in tempura, but a different type of batter and seemed to be pre-frozen, not homemade. The 2 stars I have given are based on what Unilocal says 2 stars mean… Meh. I’ve experienced better.

We were coming through town after a day of hiking and were starving. Some friends Told us they liked this place. We had the musuman curry and evil jungle. DELICIOUS! I like to think of myself as aThai connoisseur and would put this place on par with some of my best experiences in Thailand.

First time here. Had the pumpkin curry with shrimp. I asked for it to be quite spicy on the Thai scale, not the American scale. It came out perfectly spiced and flavorful. If you’ve ever eaten spicy food in Thailand then you know the maximum on the American scale is barely a blip on the Thai scale. The curry was very flavorful and had an adequate number of medium sized shrimp. More shrimp would have been nice but that’s okay. I thought the veggies in the curry were perfectly done, fork-tender. There was plenty of cubed pumpkin. The brown rice mixture was good, although a bit more would have been nice. Service was prompt and courteous. The place had just opened so I don’t know how it is when busy. All-in-all a great experience, especially considering where this restaurant is. I’ll be coming back.

Food was good not spicy at all I had to ask for spicy sauce. Customer service was okay. Very busy and food was slow but the waiter did warn us since everyone ordered at once. Lunch special was good I had ginger chicken but my friend had the garlic tofu and it was such a small serving. The décor was plain and not memorable. The price was just a bit high for what we got due to my friends small portion size. House salad was good but you can tell it’s just a bag salad and one had a crunchy wonton crisp on it and the other did not so I guess things are inconsistent. The pad Thai was not the best flavor it was just fine.

This is the only good Thai food I can find in Minden and Gardnerville area. Good thing it is good. I always go there when I am in town and want Asian food.

Goff the owner is a really nice guy. He goes out of his way take care of us as we are regulars. He makes a point to recognize our special occasions by comping a favorite dish for the birthday girl, etc. Cozy shrimps and chicken fried rice are a few of our favorites in addition to green curry, Tom Yum, silver noodle veggie, and Evil Jungle. Lots of restaurants come and go in Minden/Gardnerville but we always come back here due to consistency and quality. This update to my last review is largely due to good food consistency, great customer service, and NEVER getting any of our multiple to-go orders wrong in years!

Having grown up in the SF Bay Area, I am used to a wide range of dining choices; from Thai to Mexican, to Ethiopian, to meat and potatoes American, and everything in between. Been eating lunch and dinners at Thai Jasmine for several years, and have never been disappointed. Why did I give them 5 stars, simple, it’s the only Thai food in town, reasonably priced, clean, and always good. Now, if this restaurant was in the Bay Area, it would probably garner 3−½ stars, but who’s counting?!

My friend and I were in town form work and decided have lunch in town before heading back to Reno. It was a quick find and we really felt like some thai. We were quickly seated and the atmosphere was calming. I ordered the special which was a pumpkin curry with chicken. I was surprised with how quickly it seemed that our food came out. The pumpkin curry was absolutely lovely! The spice was just right and there were large pieces of pumpkin with red peppers. Every bite was one to be cherished for sure! I was impressed with how much of it there was and for such a great price. I was even able to take some home to enjoy for lunch the next day! It was just as amazing reheated!

I really wanted to like this place because my favorite thai place is in carson and farther from me. I ordered a pad Thai with chicken. It was ok… not great. The flavor was not the best. Husband ordered fried rice with chicken. And he wasn’t crazy about it.
