There are other Bar Louie’s in town; go to one of those. My last two experiences here have been very poor. From slow service to running out of standard bar food(fries) to bad attitudes from the staff. It’s a cool place, but I won’t be back to this one.

Love the vibe. Always get great service. Of course we always come here in the off hours. Fairly decent selection of craft beers, so that’s a win. Plus they have Temptress on tap… boom.

Came here last Monday during happy hour and was content with the service we received. We arrived around 5pm and was seated right away. The martinis are phenomenal. My friend and I ordered the Tickled Pink and Diva martinis. Both were good options but I preferred the Diva martini over the Tickled Pink for its pineapple flavor. We also ordered the verde chicken flat bread(with your choice of ranch or Thai dressing on the side) and a quesadilla. Me personally would not order the verde chicken flat bread again. It was a little too greasy for me with too many vegetables and not enough chicken. Both the appetizers and martinis were around $ 5 each. I would stop by again except maybe during Tuesdays happy hour when their burgers are $ 5 ea.

I came in on a Tuesday night with three other friends around 9 pm to have a couple drinks and watch the Rangers game. They didn’t seem very busy but we couldn’t find a clean 4-top table with a view of the tv so we sat at the bar. Three of us ordered beers and they came out pretty quickly then later on my boyfriend decided to order a burger because they’re only $ 5 on Tuesday nights. The atmosphere of the place is pretty laidback but they should work on their playlist. I don’t know what they were going for but they went from the postal service to sad country music to class rock. It was a weird vibe. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I finally asked the bartender where the burger was and as soon as I said that a waitress came out saying«Is this someone’s burger?» She sounded so confused and obviously the burger had been sitting there for a while because the fries were so cold and the burger was barely warm. We asked for new fries because they were pretty much inedible. The bartender obliged but didn’t seem happy about it and she didn’t apologize for the wait. The burger tasted pretty good even though it had been sitting for so long. Redeeming factor: they have a large selection of beers on draft and they have plenty of TVs. They have little events throughout the week and it might be worth it to check out but the staff was not very accommodating.

We go here regularly on Tuesday nights. They have happy hour M-F until 7 with $ 5 martinis $ 5 flatbreads and a few of the other apps. On Tuesday they offer $ 5 burgers(can sub chicken breast, turkey patty, or portebella mushroom for a small additional fee) with fries or tots. My favs are the Thai chicken flatbread, the blue Louie with chicken, and their dirty martinis are phenomenal. The service on Tuesdays can be a little slow as the place is normally packed but we go to hangout with friends so it works for us. They also need to invest in either a faster dishwasher or more glasses as they regularly run out.

Hmmmm… the manager was great. But, the fact that we had to contact the manager is unfortunate. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and 1 margarita. The wine glasses were dirty– like lipstick on the glass. the margarita was not good-like bad. The strawberry purée was not good D the tequila did not taste like anything good. Our waitress was not to be found. I think she had 15 tables and no help. We had to ask for the manager… he fixed the margarita and got us clean wine glasses(he actually touched the glass and felt that the wine glass was sticky). But it was too late. It was my first time there and it was disappointing. I haven’t idea if the food is good because we left… I’m proceed with caution…

We ate here once and it was a good burger I had but my fries were cold so those were sent back and replaced. My husband and I mainly go to get drinks here late night for some down time and it can get pricey but the bar staff is great. The drinks are good too so I think now I just need to go on days when they offer specials!

Came out to this establishment with my business partners to celebrate promotions and HUGE bonuses earned. I’ve passed by the bar so many times but never stopped in. One of my business partners said the food was amazing!!! She recommended the salmon sliders and I was definitely impressed. I ordered a side of Mac and it was bland. A little seasoning would have fixed it right on up. My dirty martini was strong and I can’t complain about that. What I can complain about is our waitress. She clearly did not want to be at work. Everyone at the table recognized that. I even tried to crack a couple jokes with her and she gave me the stale face. So unfortunately for her at a table with 94k in bonuses earned collectively she walked away with a $ 25 tip when it could have been MUCH better. The lesson to learn here. Smile at everyone you never know who you have sitting in your area I’m for sure coming back. If I sit in her section I will kindly get up!

Wish I could give this place a higher rating as I think it’s at a pretty awesome location, however I got sick the first time I ever ate here. I believe it was the Chicken Sliders that I ordered? Ended up throwing up 6 hours after eating those things. Ever since that night i’ve never ordered food from this place again. Good place to watch a basketball game, drink a couple brews and catch up with friends, but I probably won’t ever eat here again.

I enjoy coming to this place when I want to enjoy a casual drink with friends. Once you walk in, you have your choice of places to sit, either at the bar or at one of the tables/booths. The menu is fairly expansive for being a bar, which means even your pickiest friends should be able to find something for themselves to eat. Every time I’ve been here the drinks have been strong, which is nice because they’re on the high side of prices when you come during non-happy hour times. Regardless, it’s worth it to put this place on your radar the next time you want to go out for casual drinks. Some locations even have a live band.

Food is tasteless garbage we won’t be back. The place is nice looking and our server was very nice and attentive but the food was dry tasteless and part of it was kind of burnt. I know that this more of a bar but if you serve food it should at least be decent

Where do we start? This place has such a neat menu and clean atmosphere, but the service and food was far less than acceptable, even at the lowest expectation imagined. There were only 10 – 12 tables in the restaurant and 1 patron at the bar. The floor was staffed with 4 servers and 1 bartender; most certainly ample scheduling. We were told to seat ourselves. Within 5 minutes, our drink and appetizer order was taken and placed. The appetizer arrived 10 minutes later and before the drinks. We ordered the trio chips, and the queso dip was cold and hard. We pushed through it, and chalked it up as «whatever, let’s eat». Shortly afterwards, we reminded the server of drinks, and they finally arrived. The drinks were great. The server came back by several minutes later and asked if we wanted more chips, so we requested more. Another server brought a grease filled basket of burnt chips out. We actually poured about 2 ounces of grease out of the chip basket. That put us over. We paid and left… never to return. My advice to Bar Louie: Revisit your choice of management, because that seems to be your issue. Had a competent leader been present, the staff might have operated with the customer in mind. Start with average service and edible food, and you might survive a few more quarters. My advice to readers: Do not entertain Bar Louie until they fix their leadership.

I like this place. I’ve been to both here and the one in baton rogue. The don’t have the typical bar atmosphere but don’t have a large menu for a restaurant. I guess the have a great balance… The food was good but the service was EXCELLENT! They make you feel special so you can come back. And I will be back!

I hate to write a bad review but, the night i went to with my husband was not the best. We sat at the bar and apparently at the wrong end. There was two sides full of dirty glasses sitting out and a woman that insisted on cutting up a bucket of limes on the bar with no gloves. Then a guy grabbed a cup full of limes with his hand then put the limes in peoples drinks, bare handed. There was a lot going on at the bar. Food was ok but my lettuce wrap was very salty(to me at least)

Bar Louie is a fun place to just hang out. They have live music on Thursday nights which is not expected at all! I love that. The large bar area has tv’s to watch the games on and the chicken nachos are THEBOMB!

Food is never a disappointment. Not one thing on the menu that is bad. Quesadillas are exceedingly delicious. Not your average. Very flavorful. The wings are so savory. Every dish has been and always is amazing… Stars are lacking because of staff. Service has NEVER wowed me here. With all the staff they always have busy or not. Urgency is lacking, hospitality is lacking. Even at their slowest nights. 1am. Dead bar. And EVERY part of the bar counter is dirty. Working at a bar myself. No matter how BUSY we are. We always have time to bus and wipe out spots for a new guest. Bartender navigated us through the menu but for what? Sounded annoyed. Not like we asked for the help? don’t waste your in genuine speech.

Good food, great drinks, meh on service. The bar tender looked really swamped that night. They could have atleast put another one to help her. She was running around the bar the whole time. Will comeback to try their food.

If you want a pitcher of sangria… they will bring you 3 small glasses with No alcohol. Really, If I have a pitcher of anything I should be falling off my seat. Nope not the case here. Also, the service is poor. In a party of six, PS… I was the one paying… she rushed the appetizers and entrees back to back like the place was closing. Even after I asked her to please space them out. So we could have a couple of drinks. NOPE… eat eat eat… and leave… bye… Oh and I never got my dinner. So I don’t know why I have been here so many times… I guess I was so impressed with the grand opening I wanted to stay. So burger night, just skip it. They serve old stale buns… and really don’t want to service you unless your drinking. I really think it’s policy. Here is my story, if you order drinks on a Tuesday, they have your food out quick. So another Tuesday, I ordered tea…(only 2 tables were filled) and the guys said it like a hour to a hour and a half wait for a burger. I asked did they order too much… he said. no a to go order. To whom owns Bar Louie… read the signs… you guys are F N up your business. Save it before it’s too late.

Bar Louie left me with a few unanswered questions. How can service be so slow when there are 5 bartenders and at least 4 wait-staff serving 40 people? Why does my «rat-pack» martini ordered very dry consist of 1 ounce of gin, 2 ouces of vermouth, and two ounces of melted ice? Why does my «dirty martini» consist of 1 ounce of vodka, 2 ouces of olive juice, and two ounces of melted ice? How do you get that much cooking oil to cling to the outside of fried calamari? Why are you bringing me one drink 15 minutes after I ordered two drinks?(Wait, I know the answer to that one, he said, «I forgot) Why am I here? One star, because the roasted vegetable flat bread was perfect.
