This location is nice, clean, and has everything that you need. It also has a gas station if you use fuel points. The produce selection is not bad, and the prices are reasonable.

Love the pharmacist! Been on a oral med for 4 years, horrible tasting stuff. After talking to the pharmacist about, she went a looked and found a different brand that is tasteless! Made my year! I’ve talked too many different pharmacist and all told me to live with it, not this one!

This is my go to grocery store. Yes you can find lower prices at wally world but you will never have long lines that don’t move and hordes of crowds here. They always open more registers if lines even begin to queue up. I have been told by others that the way the store is laid out is counter to most other stores but in my opinion it’s very easy to find what your looking for here and they don’t constantly move stuff around just to get you to impulse buy. If you found it on isle 3 six weeks ago it will be there now. The staff has always been helpful and nice to me. The pharmacy is the only place you will ever get any less than perfect service and I really think that is just they don’t have enough staff in that one department.

This location is sketchy and now, on my way home. I was apprehensive but it was a better experience than I’d expected. It wasn’t too crowded and lines moved quickly. I will return.

Mesquite, TX
My go to grocery store. It is the closest full grocery store-​but I would travel a little for it.
The building itself is a little dated-​but I don’t need a juice bar or a Starbucks when I am doing my everyday grocery shopping.
The selection is more than sufficient and they even have a pretty nice beer and wine section. The staff is courteous and helpful They also seem to know the store fairly well. Prices are in line with other grocers in the area and when they mark things down you can get some great values. I actually stop by almost every day just to see if they have something good marked down– I may not need it then but that is what freezers are for.
If you are in the area and want good service and good prices and are not worried about frills that some fancier stores have you should do your self a favor and stop in.

Mesquite, TX
This is my favorite grocer in this area. They always have really good deals on meats and produce. They also slash the prices on their items (even floral and non-​perishables) more often and sooner than other stores. The Tom Thumb close to us used to do this, but we have not found a Tom Thumb that slashes prices on much since several of them closed.
This Kroger has a beer and wine section for those that have to have it in their grocer.
The staff here is some of the nicest people you’ll meet at a market. My husband’s parents went when they were in town this past week and said they have never been to a grocer with all of it’s employees so nice. This says a lot since they are used to Air Force Bases and have lived all over the world.
My only complaint is that they are at the corner of I-​30 and Broadway, so traffic gets heavy sometimes. This does not hold the lines up much. They usually have enough people on staff to deal with the in-​store traffic.
