There’s definitely some magic to Maxx Save. It’s a well kept secret(as you can see by me being the first review.) It would appear that Maxx Save basically buys Costco’s over-inventory, old inventory, damaged packaging goods, ex-floor models, and returned inventory that aren’t sellable. They buy these items at bargain basement prices, and then re-sell them at prices that are ultimately cheaper than they are at costco in the first place. Put simply, it’s kind of like a «Tuesday Morning» for Costco. And, before you go there… the items aren’t super lame.(Some are, I suppose… but a LOT aren’t.) Here’s some examples of things I remember from being there this last weekend: –Flat Screen TVs –Wii Games –High End Watches –Undershirts –Furniture –Treadmills –Air Filters –Food Items –Shredders –Air Conditioners –Electric Fireplaces –Clothing –Vacuums –Headphones –Cameras etc etc etc. Same as going to Tuesday Morning – it helps to know how much the price really was at Costco(though their labels say«compare at» and list the theoretical original price. Also – unlike Costco – no membership card necessary! It’s definitely worth a look-see… but make sure to read their returns policy very carefully! Everything is sold as-is with pretty strict no refund policies.(Some items, like electronics, have a «return in one week for store credit» policy.)
