Walnut shrimp is a must here! This place has the best walnut shrimp I’ve ever had! I also got the chicken skewer and crab rangoon and they were delicious. Delicious food for great prices!

I honestly only order food from them! They are so good and I’ve never had any issues with them! Recommend it to everyone!

Ordered online using the Unilocal eat24/​7 thingy we got chicken and shrimp with broccoli the dinner portion and sweet and sour chicken lunch portion. It took about 35 minutes to get here and we live down the street which is fine but when I ordered I put spicy in the notes on the chicken and shrimp I guess they overlooked that so I called and told them he sounded like he really didn’t want to send a whole new plate so he offered to send chile oil that I could just add to make it spicy which was fine with me. He also sent some of those cookies on the house. Overall the food was pretty good a lot better than Chans and other Chinese restaurants around here. Even after the delivery driver came back my food was still steaming and burnt my tongue!

We have been buying takeout from this restaurant for at least 15 years and it has always been great! Our favorite is the Sesame Chicken, house egg rolls, egg drop /​egg flower soup, orange beef and house rice. We always order the same thing, it always comes quickly and accurately and they tonight they gave us free desert! Some people complain about the dine in or but we live so close we rarely dine in or carry out but we ordered on the phone, and they are always very busy and noisy on the phone, I ordered off of their web site and it was a very easy experience. I rarely give 5 stars to any place, so this is the best it gets in this part of Garland.

My parents owns a Chinese restaurant far away. so I’m very picky when it comes to American style Chinese food. This place is one of the best. We ordered from here once and now it’s my go to place for Chinese food.

The food is amazing! I’m a total sucker for their wonton soup and their orange chicken. However if you ever get food from here, make sure that you get it take out and not dining. The staff is not very nice at all they never come back to check on you and the place looks pretty old and rundown.

First time ordering from here and we will definitely order again. We ordered Chicken Teriyaki and Beef Fried Rice. Both were delicious…

The sign says they open at 11:30 on saturdays. So I went at 12:00 and they weren’t open! I waited till 12:15. I gave up. They should change their sign if they aren’t open at 11:30!!!

We ordered through grub hub. Dude shows up and asked for payment even though we paid online.
Then the order was wrong, they sent fried rice instead of steamed and no egg roll even though I ordered the dinner that comes with an egg roll.
I ordered extra spicy orange chicken and it was so bland I could have fed it to a 3 year old.
My husband ordered mu shu chicken and the pancakes were tortillas!
Seriously?
Also ordered won ton soup and steamed dumplings. The dumplings were very good but the soup was terrible. They put one dumpling in each bowl with some bland broth. I had to throw mine out.
I might try them again since I like to give all restaurants a 2^nd try, but not anytime soon.
I would say go elsewhere.

The only thing I like eating here is the hot and sour soup. Other then that everything is bland and just okay.
Now the reason why I give 1 star is because of the service. There is this lady there that I assume is the owner. She is horrible and rude. My boyfriend liked to go there just because of the soup but every time we went she had a ugly attitude, never was nice and it looked like she did not want to be there or assist us. If you want good service, go somewhere else. Trust me.

Ordered Mongolian beef, cashew shrimp, and combo fried rice online. Got order conf email and food showed up in 30 – 40 mins. I’m very picky, and it was impressive. Will order there again.

Its literlly just okay. I think the food is alright but I’ve had better, and the portions could improve, As someone who works in customer service I know that being polite and friendly is VERY important, and the people there are definitely not very friendly, which makes me wonder what they are putting in my food. (seriously!)

I went to this place for lunch. Three coworkers and I were greeted by a more than irritated woman who quickly sat us down and demanded to know what we were drinking without allowing us time to look at the menu. When another coworker joined us for lunch, this lady was mire than agitated. Overall, the customer service was horrible and unfortunately the food lacked seasoning and did not compensate for the bad treatment. Will never go back!

Have eaten here a few times but was very disappointed this round. Usually a 3 star but today the hot & sour soup didn’t have anything in it, almost literally. The Egg rolls tasted like a frozen off brand from the grocery store. Based on today’s experience I will not be going back. I didn’t finish my soup, egg rolls or entrée (Shrimp) & I am a very healthy eater but it was all nasty. Would have been 1 ½ stars but the staff was friendly.

Not bad. I’ve pretty much given up on Chinese food in general, so bad 90% of the time. In spite of that, took a chance b/​c there is simply not a lot of choice in Garland and this place meets my minimum for quality given that they also deliver.
Also, not expensive at all. The dishes I tend to like are prepared satisfactorily and delivery service is reliable and timely.
I ordered online this time so that’s a plus — don’t need to phone order & have to spell out my address so that is very convenient.
The house egg rolls are surprisingly good — usually egg roll filling tastes and looks like mush. These have ground pork and chopped veggies. Moo goo gai pan could be their best dish. At least it’s flavorful and not greasy, veggies aren’t cooked to death.
The cabbage & celery dishes are good Twice Cooked Pork or Garlic Chicken,
However, meh on the Szechuan dishes, which tend to be greasy and it’s never spicy enough, though I always request ‘extra spicy’. But that’s me.
I’ve eaten here carry out & delivery a half dozen times and it’s okay. Solid value cuz of inexpensive even with delivery and serviceable menu items.

Sometimes the food is a little hit or miss at May China, but there are some dishes that are consistent winners to me. Their Egg Drop Soup is delicious, love the Chicken Lo Mein, Beef with Broccoli, but their Mu Shu Pork isn’t always good. They offer sugar biscuits free when you order $ 30 or more and those are yummy!
Their delivery service is superb. I try to cut everyone a break and feel that of most of the restaurants near where I live they are truly outstanding overall.

If you are looking for a super cheap and filling place to eat lunch, stop right here! It is in Garland, but a short hop off of I-​30.
Their lunch prices are in the $ 5-​$ 6 range and still a large amount of food. My husband and I can still SHARE the large portions and come out full. My favorite is the Garlic Chicken, full of veggies and tender pieces of chicken. It is served with an egg roll, rice and choice of soup. I have enjoyed both a good bowl of hot and sour and egg drop. The lo mein is also a generous heap of hot tasty nooles.
The service is friendly and fast. The order is taken quickly and you’ll be sipping on your soup before you can say ‘chopsticks’.
The location is an older, stand alone building, but the restaurant is clean and simple. A huge tank of bug-​eyed fish separate the cashier from the dining area.
So, my hubby and I can walk out with our stomach’s full for a mere $ 10, including tax and tip!

This little place is out in Garland, and i doubt many of my Unilocaling buds will make the trip out to the Land of Gar. But if you’re in the area, this place is definetly worth a look. I just rolled down there today for the millionth time at lunch. It’s small and quaint, with wierd fish in the tanks. The people will greet you at the door and they are so nice, it’s ridiculous. The lunch menu is great, they have all of the dinner items, just at a lower price, and if they are smaller portions at lunch, then im scared of dinner. Every lunch order comes with fried rice, your choice of soup and an eggroll. Helluva deal! The hot and sour soup is great, and they bring you these giant crunchy noodles to give it a little cruch. And i always like to retain a tad more water by throwing some soy sauce in that biz. My normal order is the sweet and sour chicken, which is golden fried and juicy. Today i went out on a limb and rolled with the Hunan shrimp. These shrimp weren’t messing around either, they were big, and ready to party. The sauce was abundant, but not over powering, and the fried rice was a little under cooked. OH, I forgot to mention my favorite part… they have freakin squeezy red bottles of sweet and sour sauce at each table. So i doused my amazing pork and veggie eggroll with it and wrapped up a great lunch. May in June, who knew?!

Located on the corner of Oates & Broadway in Garland, May China has won the test of time.
I enjoy Chinese food and I’m not going to return to the same place if the quality isn’t consistent.
May China has delicious food, the service is great; the prices are decent. You can dine-​in or carry-​out; there isn’t a drive thru.
If you’re dining in, don’t be alarmed if you’re being served soda from either a 2 liter bottle or a can; just to let you know.
I found the dishes to be easily modified to your diet requirements… no problem in that area.
I have eaten at this resturant for years and years and I’ve always been satisfied with the quality, quantity and accuracy of my order.
