Meh. Not a fan. We were walking around Firewheel one night and decided to stop in for dessert. It was so unorganized, there were people standing at various ends of the place and nobody seemed to know where the line began. So we just kind of lingered and waited until everyone who got there before us was served. When we got up to the display case, I asked what cookies were included in the combo and we were told whatever was left on one particular row. There was like 2 kinds left, so we made our selections and went to pay. Total was $ 10 for 2 cookies, a bottle of water and a small coffee. Pretty pricey. What irked me is that after we turned to walk away after paying, an employee goes to the display case and starts placing a fresh batch of all different varieties. That jerk behind the counter could have told us there was a fresh batch of all kinds coming out in literally 3 minutes. Didn’t really feel like arguing that night, so we took our old, over-priced cookies and went on our way.

I just want to let yall know that I think this place has been taken over by new management. And they are friendly and always keeping the place clean. They have smiles that greet you at the door and by far really yummy icecream and cookies! I’ve been here almost 2 years ago and there were a ton of kids running the place and a so called manager who was a kid himself who stole my phone. If it wasn’t for me being persistent and getting firewheel security they would of never given my phone back and admiting they stole it. What are kids thinking these days.

Service is horrible here. I just left after waiting 15 minutes to get a cookie and a small cup of ice cream. The girl behind the counter apologized to the people behind us… After she offered to check them out before us… Um they were behind us because they came in after us. Grrr!!!

The cookies are very good, but the low rating is from the HIGHPRICES and bad service on multiple visits. I’ve tried several times to get cinnamon rolls first thing in the morning, but either the doors are still locked, past opening hours, or nothing has been prepared yet. One visit, 2 young men employees said they got there late. Hey, I am a mgr at the mall, and try to purchase a breakfast treat for my staff and get one shot to get it before I open my store. Disappointing.

Stopped by here to get a cookie and it was exactly what I wanted it to be: cheap, delicious, and chocolatey. I didn’t really care for the mini-cookie that was the check-in offer, but free is free.

Great stop to get out of the heat! I was shopping at Firewheel yesterday afternoon with a teenager and a six year old and the sizzling sun was taking the pep out of our step after hitting just a few stores. I thought some sugar and a little time in the air conditioning was just what we needed to continue on. The Nestle Tollhouse Café has a selection of cookies and cookie cakes but we made a bee line for the Dreyers ice cream case. The staff were very nice and efficient without making us feel rushed. We each decided on a single dipped cone– our group picked strawberry cheesecake, bubble gum and butter pecan flavors. The ice cream tasted very fresh and was a great pick me up. The public restrooms are just around the corner to wash those sticky little hands and faces.

This is a nice café with friendly staff where you can stop by for coffee, tea and desserts. They serve many of the well-known Nestle Tollhouse items as well as Dreyer’s ice cream. Everything is delicious, but high in calories & carbs, unfortunately. Being a low-carber, I was glad to see they had one of Dreyer’s no-sugar added ice creams(Vanilla & Chocolate swirl) with one scoop coming in at 11 net carbs. However, I would like to see them add more of the 10 no-sugar added flavors Dreyer’s offers. Great for diabetics or anyone who desires to control the sugar in their life. The café is nice and clean and well-situated within the outdoor mall, with access directly across from the water fountain park where you will find covered seating, a lazy stream and beautiful bronze sculptures. There is even a train for the kiddies to ride. So, get a scoop and take it to the park or better yet… eat & walk as you window shop. :)
