This is the best phở place in town, located in the Saigon Shopping Mall! I’m a huge phở fan especially on those cold winter days. My friends recommended this place, raving about the«Fresh Noodles» that you have to secretly request and the limited quantity they serve each day. This place has fast service and good quality authentic Vietnamese food. The beef combination phở hits the spot. The portion size is plenty, especially if you upgrade the size for a few bucks you get twice the size. Great for sharing. Phở broth was great flavor. It was on the lighter side not too salty. Make sure you ask for FRESHNOODLES! This is the secret to the great tasting phở that makes it stand out from other phở restaurants. It is a much thinner and softer consistency but if really does taste fresh. Sometimes they can also run out of fresh noodles, so first come for serve! The freshness of the ingredients speak for themselves. The other dish that was amazing was the garlic noodles with seafood combo mix. OMG this had so much garlic flavor! I love garlic noodles. All the flavors of the shrimp and seafood with the garlic sauce on the egg noodles went perfect together. It also had sautéed vegetables in the mix as well. It had a slightly sweet taste to it that was not overpowering. Presentation was good, they put fresh greens on it to give it a refreshing look. You can’t order this with the«fresh noodles» option, they only have that option for the phở noodles. Overall this is a really good authentic phở place with great prices. I removed one star because the table was not completely clean when we sat down and I had to re wipe it. They get super busy so I guess thats the reason. When your done with the great tasting phở, just walk right across the hall for dessert at I Heart Boba.(see previous review) They both go hand in hand.

I bought Phở and Bun bo Hue to go so I can’t comment anything about service but the food is good. Phở is tasty and the noodles is soft and nice texture. Their meat is good as well. However, the star is Bun bo Hue, a different kind of noodles with spicy soup originally from the central of Vietnam. The soup is so on point and I love it so much. It’s good and delicious and it tastes just like one of the good vendor in Vietnam. Thumbs up!!!

It’s that time of season again, and nothing hits the spot better than a bowl of Phở during this time of year. I needed something light and fresh especially since I have my acro yoga class later this evening, and I couldn’t have made a better decision than this place tonight! This little hidden gem was revealed to me just last week by a friend, and it has since become my go-to spot for Phở! This kitchen hits all the right points, making this place one of the best spots in DFW for a legit bowl of Phở. They offer a nice option from your standard Phở noodles which are called: Bánh Phở Tuoi AKA«fresh» noodles. The broth definitely has a homemade feel to it and not many restaurants can get this right in my opinion. It’s the first thing I taste to determine if I’m about to eat a good bowl of Phở or not. And to make things even better, you get quality Grade A rare flank which are served perfectly tender, an often overlooked thing when it comes to enjoying a great bowl of Phở! I’d highly recommend this place if you’re truly looking for an authentic place that knows how to make it right; you won’t be disappointed.

Their noodles are homemade and I’m never disappointed when I order Phở from here. The staff are nice and they are quick to sit and serve you. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to eat some phở at. :)

Just left from having lunch there. Both coworkers ordered the cum bo luc lac. It seems like they were given a split portion of the same lunch plate. Very very disappointed in this restaurant lately. My phở was also very greasy and salty.

I’ve never been here and after reading the owner’s or whomever is writing the replies for the restaurant to the customers, I’m definitely never going there! You sir or madame, do not know how to run a business and will be the cause of driving more customers away with your bad etiquette. When a customer finds something wrong, you don’t tell the customer that they’re wrong, point out why it’s that way, make excuses for everything that customers bring up, or attack a customer’s credibility. This is not the way you treat customers. You will not be getting my business just because of your BADATTITUDE.

I had a strong craving for phở and by the name of the restaurant, I was expecting delicious authentic vietnamese phở. I got the tripe and meatballs along with fresh noodles(phở tuoi) instead of the standard phở noodles. A small bowl was $ 7.95 which is pretty pricey for the portion that was given. The fresh noodles didn’t really make a difference, and the broth seemed to be more on the sweet side. The meat in my bowl was the only thing tasty about the phở. My boyfriend also ordered the pork eggroll vermicelli and his whole bowl seemed to be just the rice noodles. Their meat to noodle ratio is definitely way off.

I really enjoyed my phở and bun Bo hue here! They offer small bowls! Yay! The soup was not greasy at all! I was so pleasantly surprised! Also, they wipe down everything! Super clean in here — they even wipe down the siracha bottles! Not sticky and no residue on the cap either! It made me so happy :))) Ok last note — the veggies were clean and fresh. The sprouts didn’t have those long tails — I usually spend a few minutes breaking the ends off but didn’t have to do that here: P

The place was nice and clean! And the waitress was cute: p I ordered the bun bo hue but was somewhat disappointed with it; the broth tasted like average spicy beef broth. Also, it seems like they liked msg. But I enjoyed the beef, brisket, tenderloin! If I come back, I’ll probably try the rice dishes instead of the noodle soups. FOOD: 3⁄5 SERVICE: 5⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5

First off, I’m Vietnamese so this will hopefully add credibility to my review :) At my first visit, I tried the phở. The ratio of noodles to meat was a no-no. Too many noodles! Broth was only okay… I didn’t think of coming back. Then we heard that their bun bo hue was pretty good, so we came back to give it a try. Their bun bo hue is good, but the service is deterring. If you’re not Vietnamese, good luck trying to get proper service around here because even we couldn’t get what we needed. We asked for spoons like three times and to different waiters. Eventually, my dad got up and found spoons himself. Same thing happened when we needed sugar. I know you can’t really expect stellar service at an Asian establishment(let’s be honest here). But I don’t know, they didn’t seem to be very efficient… There were dirty tables waiting to be cleaned, and people waiting to sit down. For phở I recommend Phở Bac, and for bun bo hue I recommend Phở Saigon Noodle and Steak.

Updated review to say… they finally have banh phở tuoi!!! Which means fresh, homemade phở vermicelli right from the kitchen! The noodles are thicker in width and very soft, very reminiscent of phở noodles in Vietnam! I grew up on the packaged, chewy, thin phở vermicelli here so this is something new. I like chewiness so I don’t prefer the fresh ones over the store bought ones, but will definitely continue to order banh phở tuoi whenever I come here!

This review is for com bo luc lac. Its what i buy when i eat here. Very soft melt in your mouth beef you wont find anywhere else. The phở is ok and not bad at all. But the com bo luc lac is very delicious. Try it if you are a fan of it, you wont regret it.

I didn’t expect much from this location, and what I got was exactly what I expected. The broth is very average and tastes like there is a heavy amount of that beef broth powder in there. Ingredients aren’t particularly fresh. Service-wise, you may have a hard time if you don’t speak Vietnamese. It really depends on who is working at the time. Overall, nothing about the place stands out. I think they only reason they get business is because they are located inside the Saigon Mall area(convenient for those who are going grocery shopping or have other business to take care of in the area). One perk is that their sizes run large but that’s not necessarily worth it for mediocre phở.

The only reason why I took my family to Noodelicious was because my co-worker told me that it tasted pretty good. As soon as we got there, the service was slow, un-attentive, and the place is super-freaking dirty! I swear to you, I saw a rat droppings on my table. He didn’t dry our table after he wiped it down. There were bean sprouts and onions on my chair and your wait staff told us to sit down. Your wait staff did NOT attend my family until 5 minutes later! Nobody brought us our waters. Nobody brought us our menus. It was not until my wife had flag someone from behind your counter to attend to us. Your staff noticed that there were only two pairs of chopsticks(no spoons) on my table when we first sat down. So, he brought us a whole bunch of chopsticks where one of them had a bean sprout on it straight from your dishwasher and still no spoons. We ordered three bowls of phở. My wife ordered your Chef’s Special Phở Tai Lan. As soon as your wait staff delivered out the veggie plate for our three bowls of phở, there were no lime. No lemons. No ngo gai. But heck… you know what the waiter suggested, «How about nuoc dam pha for your phở?» Seriously, what Vietnamese person eats phở with vinegar??? But ONE tiny plate of veggies for three bowls of phở at our table??? How stingy can you be??? Once your wait staff brought us our bowls of phở… tsk…tsk…tsk…it goes from okay, average, good, better, excellent. Your phở is barely okay. Nothing special. Not even your Chef’s Special was okay. Your phở had no star anise. If it did have star anise, then you didn’t have enough. The broth lacked the aroma of phở. Your large bowl of phở lacked a lot of meat. And then you charged us $ 6.95 for one small bowl of phở. I really don’t understand why you claim to have«Delicious Noodles»? And all in this very time, my wife and I are still waiting for our ca phe sua da. Our drinks did not come out until we had to remind your wait staff. We decided to order ca phe sua da from you guys is because we saw one of your waiters bring out a traditional Vietnamese ca phe sua da to another table. So we decided to order a traditional Vietnamese ca phe sua da… BUT by the time your waiter delivered it to us, it was already in a styrofoam cups??? Hence, we did not have the traditional Vietnamese style(not the same coffee cup that you delivered to other table). Expectation of your ca phe sua da shot down the drain so fast. The worse part is how your restaurant was so so so very dirty. In every inch of the floor was dirty napkins, used straws on the floor, empty bowls(plural not singular) and dirty dishes on several tables. Tables along your wall just full of empty dishes. The table right next to us was empty. Nobody sat there the entire time we were there and nobody, not one person, would sweep underneath that table next to us. Nobody would sweep the main two aisles ATALL! Not even for one minute of trying to sweep the floor. The only reason why I’m giving one star for this restaurant is because 15 to 20 minutes later is when our waiter came back with the lime. Good job on that… because we were practically half way with our bowls when he gave us the lime. For the record, I do not own a restaurant. I do not work for any of your competitors. Therefore, I do not give false accusations of my first experience trying out your restaurant. My family used to own a Phở Restaurant back in the 80s and therefore, I know from first hand what needs to be addressed. And for a person who claims that Unilocal is small percentage make up of your consumers, then why do you personally care to attack each and every one person who gave you less than three stars. Why do you not learn from your past mistakes and correct them immediately? Have you’ve ever heard the number one rule of «The customer is always right.»? Instead of rudely attacking your customers on the internet since July 2014 and still have not corrected your staff on addressing the urgency of being better!!!

Nice, clean, cool décor, great service… The phở, good but nothing spectacular. My friends got the phở sate. It was a combo of bún bo hue/bún thit nuong /phở. The broth is like BBh and spicy, it’s phở noodles yet there’s cucumbers and tomatoes. I want to actually give this place a 3.5 star because of the fresh noodles they have. They don’t stick together and it’s obviously phở tuoi!

Response to «Michelle S.» from Noodlelicious — I am an avid Unilocaler and I write reviews of places that I feel people should know about. I do not appreciate you questioning whether or not I was even at your establishment to make my updated review. To answer your questions: 1) Yes, I was there last night(10÷24÷14). I came at around 8:20PM with my husband and twin daughters. Check your security footage. 2) No, I am not a «frustrated competitor» writing fake reviews. Your competitors have nothing to be concerned about. I came back based on your initial response awhile ago saying that your machine would be fixed in the«4th quarter». I intended to try the«fresh made noodles» so I could update my initial review. 3) Yes… I only came back to try your«fresh made noodles». I did not read your advertisement in July about your fresh made noodles. I don’t have to, your name is «Phở Tuoi Nhu Y». The main draw of your business is the fresh noodles and that’s what sets you apart from other phở places thus peaking my interest. 4) Again… I do not have the time nor the motivation to write false reviews. That’s not the point of Unilocal and there is no «game». People have opinions that they share and some will be negative. Just because I have a negative experience does not make this a fake review. How very arrogant of you to think that negative reviews of your restaurant are fake reviews. 5) You should try advertising that you don’t make fresh noodles currently through other advertising outlets. Like me, I’m sure many of your guests do not read Tre magazine. Or put a temporary banner that you currently do not have fresh noodles. That kind of transparency would be much more appreciated by all your patrons. I definitely will not return because of your rude response along with my sour experiences and will be sure to let others know. Being a «manager», you should really hone your customer service skills. Essentially calling your customer a liar does not bode well for your business. I only write about my personal experiences and all that I’ve said are true accounts of my experiences at your restaurant.

Very good food, friendly staff that was helpful as we were the only ones in here speaking English. Very welcoming environment. I had Thai flat noodles, wife had seafood stir fry noodle. Daughter had beef fried rice. Each had a very distinct flavor and very fresh.

Food — 4⁄5 Service — 3⁄5 Price — 4⁄5 Atmosphere — 4⁄5 Best Dish: Anything with homemade noodles Oh wow look! Another phở restaurant in the Richardson/Garland area. Noodlelicious is located in the Saigon Mall where Phở Que Huong used to be. They completely remodeled and rebranded the space(the facelift was much needed). According to their website, they are promoting healthy alternatives to the usual MSG and other preservatives commonly found in Asian soup dishes. The most unique thing however is that they claim to make their own noodles! I can’t really confirm, but that is pretty neat. I hope to talk to the owners to get a grasp on their entire cooking process. Their menu is pretty basic: appetizer(egg rolls and spring rolls), phở, vermicelli, and stir fried noodles Personally, that’s just how I like it. I like when restaurants focus on just a few things and try to perfect those particular dishes instead of offering pages and pages of items that lessen the quality of the food. I will return soon and take pictures. With all that being said, I have a soft spot for this new phở restaurant because the Vietnamese name is «Phở Tuoi Nhu Y» and Nhu Y is my mom’s name =) They got me good. — By the way, PROPS to opening at 8AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings… for those who don’t know, phở is the best hangover cure ever. Trust me.
