The pizza wasn’t bad, but I specifically ordered extra sauce. When I picked it up I told the guy that it didn’t look like extra sauce because there wasn’t even sauce around the edge up to the crust. When I asked him to add more, he told me there was a layer inside, too. When I went to eat it, I couldn’t taste the sauce at all. I was a bit upset at the man to say the least… most dry pizza ever!

Went in yesterday for their any pizza $ 10 Tuesday special. I am new to the area and it was my first time at this location. Went in around 1:30pm(shop was empty) and the lady working there told me I couldn’t do a stuffed pizza(without an up charge) so I said ok, and switched crusts. Then, she she said she would«have to» charge me extra to do a half/half pizza(diff toppings) even with a regular crust. I’m sorry, but I’ve never had a problem ordering a $ 10 pizza at ANY other locations. So I left the empty store without my order, and I went to the location on Renner and they made my original(stuffed) pizza I had wanted with 0 issues and for $ 10. So, I won’t be returning to this location ever. They don’t honor deals the like the rest of the stores(I’ll have to let corporate know about that though), and the employees are rude and apathetic.

Great pizza. We get pizza here all the time. Ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Owners are friendly and always give my daughter a sticker. When my wife went in today the owner was slicing ingredients and he greated her and remembered her name. Good family owned buisness.

I have been going here for years. The owner and family are very friendly and the food made there is phenomenal. Don’t miss out on some delicious take and bake pizza from here.

I love this concept and would normally give a place like this 4 stars because the idea is great but it seems like the service aspect was designed to be minimal. I have been to plenty of these chains but, the service here is wonderful. There is always a man who seems to be sort of cold at first but in actuality he is a customer service ninja. I believe it to be his daughter that works with him who has clearly inherited this customer service gene from him. I drive an extra 5 minutes or so to this location because of their kindness. Good pizza, even better service.

This was my first time trying Papa Murphys pizza and I was pleasantly surprised, it was good really good. They offer a good variety of pizzas on their menu, as well as a build your own option with toppings while not exotic but just aren’t found at the other chains. Their prices are a little lower than delivery places, another plus. This location is family run, the dad was on register and the daughter was helping out with a bit of everything. There’s just something nice about seeing a family run business. If you haven’t tried Papa Murphys yet, get your butt on over and give it a try.

I will never order delivery pizza again. There is no comparison between the quality you get from Papa Murphy’s versus places like Domino’s, Pizza Hut, etc. I’m a little sad that this chain is not as popular as some of the others out there. Sure, you have to actually drive there and pick up the pizza and then wait while you heat it up in your own oven, but you generally have to wait around 30 minutes for pizza to be delivered anyways. And you also save money on tip and delivery fee! Pizza-wise, their pizzas are awesome! They have some great flavor combinations, and their ingredients taste a lot fresher than you would expect from a pizza chain. I’ve tried their herb chicken and their cowboy pizza. The herb chicken was amazing! — I would say even better than some of the shops around DFW that claim to be ‘gourmet’ pizza. The cowboy tasted great too, but not as unique. Their menu is greatly priced. $ 10 — 12 for large pizzas is completely worth it. This particular Papa Murphy’s had good service too. The kid who took my order was really friendly and informative on how to heat up the pizza at home. So if you’re craving good pizza, but don’t feel like actually going out to a dine-in pizza shop, I would definitely recommend Papa Murphy’s.

Just not enough people reviewing this place I guess– I’ve only been once — everyone was ridiculously nice — the owner gave me a coupon for a discount and it was good — my kid asks about it still. Give it a shot.

Better than any other take home pizzas that you cook at home. It smokes«fresh» grocery store take home pizzas and frozen cook at homes can’t touch these. Tasty every time as long as u don’t burn it. It’s also priced right.

I love Papa Murphy’s, it makes dinner easy and fresh. The best part about these pizzas is when you bake them at home they’re not as greasy as other delivery pizzas. I recommend the Thai chicken pizza and for dessert get the cinnamon pizza!

Our favorites are the Mediterranean herb chicken and the gourmet vegetarian. Also their 3lbs lasagne for $ 10 is a fantastic and tastes deal as well.

We love Papa Murphy’s and were enjoying it up in Minnesota for years visiting relatives. We were so happy to have it come to DFW. This location does a great job, fast and friendly service with a well done pizza. I can’t remember the last time I ordered from dominos/papa johns/etc or bought a frozen pizza!

Good prices and good pizzas. There is something to be said for fresh and you can’t get any fresher than having your pizza prepared right in front of you. It only takes a few minutes to bake at home and the result is a hot, fresh, great tasting pizza with plenty of toppings. This has become a weekly staple at my house. YUM!

We’ve been coming here for the last year or so and have enjoyed it. A lot actually. The place is pretty minimalistic which is good — keeps prices down. There are a couple guys assembling pizzas to your right and who I assume is the owner or his wife at the end at the register. We’ve gotten all kinds of pizza from the vegetarian to the meat lovers and its all been good. I particularly like the take n bake concept because of the freshness of the pizza when you eat it: straight from the oven *is* better. We always have a coupon when we go and if we forget sometimes the owner still gives us a discount. Thanks! We’ve even bought pizza here for a party and always had fresh pizza for our guests to eat. What a great concept.

I love how easy this is for dinner. My favorite is also the Herb Chicken Mediterranean deLite pizza. The crust does get nice and crispy in the oven and the flavors on this pizza are GREAT! The other pizzas are fine, not my favorite — but that particular pizza will keep me a customer. I do call ahead and it’s ready as soon as I get there.

I love this. Like most, I was really concerned about the take home and bake. Bought the first deLight crust and I cannot stop. It is great. This is a well run Papa Murphy’s. The store is exceptionally clean and the owners are really pleasant.

Like Molly K., the first time I heard about a place where you take home your pizza to bake yourself, I was a little skeptical. Now, this is my favorite pizza take out(thin crust, that is. I’ll explain below). In order to save you(and I’m guessing themselves) money, they prepare the pizza for you at the store with fresh ingredients, then you take it home and bake it and can enjoy it hot and fresh out of the oven, instead of it being lukewarm after you get home like at other places. What a great idea! We ordered the thin crust pepperoni($ 6!!!) and grabbed some cookie dough from there as well. After baking for 12 minutes, I tasted the most perfect thin crust pizza with a consistency of heaven on a cracker. The crust bakes to a golden brown and the cheese comes out a nice melted orange and white with a few beautiful brown spots of ‘burn’ that taste so good. The best part of the pizza was the fact that it was not greasy at all. I can’t wait to go back and try the stuffed pizza. Looks amazing. I would recommend calling ahead. The line gets pretty long if you don’t and it takes ten minutes to assemble.

I will say that I was a bit skeptical about a pizza that is assembled and you bake at home. Oh was I wrong because this was one tasty pizza!!! The man that is manager/owner was extremely patient and courteous. I ordered a Thin crust Mediterranean pizza with artichokes, spinach, and chicken. I took it home, baked it as directed, and enjoyed every bite! Tasty garlic sauce/crust. Perfect amount of cheese and bacon pieces. I added some pine nuts because I coo coo for pine nuts lol. This was an excellent pizza for only $ 8.99! How did I get that price you ask!!! Well the owner gave me tag you put on your keys and it’s good for $ 2 off ANY pizza. Plus I got a frequent shoppers card. Sorta like a punch card I guess. All in all this is a great little venue. Perfect for families, date nights, or parties. I can already tell my punch card will be full in no time. ENJOY!

The family has ordered from this place three times now. At first my dad was put off by having to bake the pizza yourself and wait for it. But I think the price and the flavor of the pizzas has proved worth it. So far we’ve tried pepperoni and mushrooms, sausage and bell peppers, spinach and pepperoni. The usual toppings, but all good. Their tomato sauce seems to have a different good flavor. Haven’t tried any of their specialty pizzas yet. They always have coupons in the mail and at the store for family sizes and two-topping pizzas. Nice staff as well.
