Worst experience I have ever had at a fast food place! I have been to this location several times before and I know they have a tendency to be on the slower side so I was expecting to wait. but not over 30 minutes. So after waiting 30 minutes, I push my button and ask how much longer and I was greeted by a very rude woman. I know this is fast food so I don’t have high expectations for the staff, but this lady was ridiculous. Literally hung up the intercom in the middle of me talking.

This location is horrible! We love Sonic but this location is slow every single time. They ask you to repeat your order several times, charge you the wrong prices, and take forever to bring your order. We will not be returning to this location.

My «post-workout meal» for today was from Sonic… My gym — Lifetime Fitness is just across the road so it was so handy to go here straight after. I usually stray from fast food but today was an exception. I felt so faint today at the gym(probably because I only had one gluten free bar for the whole day and I went to workout at 3pm). so really, it was my own doing… I felt so dizzy that I just had to ditch my workout, hop in my car and drive to the nearest whatever I could find! Thankfully, Sonic was right there. As mentioned previously, the location is so handy(not so much to those who want to loose weight and stay fit). ha. But this is my cheat meal for the week! The service was very quick and efficient. The waiter that served me was so so so friendly and he even told me I had a «beautiful accent». I ordered their popcorn chicken, potato tots with medium coke and of course, honey mustard for sauce. All was made fresh and was piping hot. Kudos. I’m definitely giving these guys the 5 stars they deserve based on my experience today and also for the fact that I seriously didn’t know how to tip… I wanted to give the guy a tip but I didn’t know how cause he handed me the receipt and there was no place to sign for a tip… I was told later by partner in crime that he usually tips them if they are on roller skates. haha. The waiter did have roller skates which made me feel even more bad. So hopefully the 5 stars compensates for my lack of tipping knowledge. *Sigh* American tipping culture…

This should be MINUS5 stars! Ever see the super-dumb movie, «Good Burger?» This Sonic is staffed by morons that make«Good Burger» look like a 5-star culinary mecca! We went last night around 10pm, not too late, not too early. They weren’t very busy. I ordered our food, as well as asked what all came on the Chicago Dog. The employee replied, «Um, ok. Could you repeat that?» I did. He replied, «Um, ok. Could you repeat that again?» I did. He replied, «Um, ok. I don’t know what comes on the Chicago Dog.» I waited for him to say, «Let me find out for you,» but no. Just awkward silence. I finally asked if he could find out what all was on the Chicago Dog. After what«seemed» like an eternity, probably less than a minute…, he came back on the speaker and fumbled through the toppings on the Chicago Dog. I specified the items I wanted and the ones I did not(onions, hot peppers, sweet pickle relish). Finally, he seemed to get the order correctly. I opted to pay by credit card for $ 20.82; everything seemed to be on point. After waiting 30 minutes, we were wondering what the delay was as they only had a handful of cars there at the time, including ours. I was just about to «punch the red call button» when the carhop came to the car, repeated our order, handed it to us then said, «That will be $ 28.82» I know I looked shocked as I told him I had already paid by credit card. He told me that the card didn’t go through. So weird, since I got the message, «Transaction approved.» after I ordered. So, I went to my bank’s app on my iPhone to check my account to see if there was a pending sale from Sonic for $ 20.82. It was there. I showed the carhop. He then said, «Ohhh, ok. My mistake.» REALLY??? We took our drinks and food back home. Our mistake! They got the order wrong! My Chicago Dog ONLY had the stuff I said I didn’t want on it; my daughter’s grilled chicken sandwich was covered in chopped onion…(That sandwich doesn’t come with onions) Her Ocean Water was just blue colored water, not even carbonated. I ordered a «fresh strawberry» slush. It frozen, sugary strawberries… I assume they were fresh before they were marinated in sugar and frozen«back in the day.» Add insult to injury, no straws! I wouldn’t ramble on ordinarily, but this was so idiotic, I had to be totally descriptive. Ex caveat emptor!

Drive thru is a little confusing… So first off, this sonic has a drive thru, but no drive thru window, no sign that says pull here and wait, no direction whatso ever! I pull up from the order screen and I’m like okay, do I drive around — is there a window on the other side? Whaaaaaaat dooooooooo I doooooooo? So I pulled up to where most Sonic’s that don’t have a drive thru window have markers saying«wait here» or «carhop stop» or SOMETHING. And I waited. And waited. And waited. It took f.o.r.e.v.e.r. to get my order of green peach tea! My peach green tea with extra ice… was now just a watered down peach green tea with a little ice. THAT’S how long I waited. My ice melted!!! Ohhh the insanity!!! :-) They didn’t seem too busy but they could have been understaffed… or something. One thing to note is that this Sonic is located in the Sam’s parking lot and if you’re pulling out of the Sonic going back towards the Sam’s there isn’t a stop sign on either side of the intersection that pulls in from Naaman Forest Blvd — seems a bit dangerous if someone is pulling out of sonic and someone is leaving Sam’s or pulling in from the street.
