TC Shaved Ice

Ever since moving to garland we have always came here to get shaved ice. During the summers the lines get super long! Have never gotten a flavor that I do not enjoy. These shaved ices are not like any other, they are always full of flavor and super creamy. There are no chunks of ice it is always soft ice that makes it even more enjoyable. The only down side is that they only accept cash.

I hate the fact that I waited for about 15 – 20 min and then when I finally got it I felt like it wasn’t that sweet I threw it away I don’t know if I would go back again.

Softest shaved ice in town. This is the go to place to enjoy a cool summer treat… The flavor choices are endless and the prices are fair. Get yourself a knockout… You’ll thank me! Glad to see these guys are still in business.

Best sno-​cones around! Crave these in the winter time so I have to get as many as I can furring the summer months.

No blueberry, or real flavor selection. My shaved ice was dry at the bottom and did not have the cream I paid for. Very disappointed for the $ I paid. Won’t go back

My husband was so excited about this place because of their knockouts, but it was sadly disappointing. I got the strawberry knockout, took 2 bites of it, and asked to go to McDonald’s for dessert. The ice cream was completely freezer burned, which was what I was looking forward to the most. The actual shaved ice was so crunchy, I could have gotten it out of my ice machine in my fridge. Soooooooo disappointing.

This location appears to have moved. It is now located on the corner of Broadway and Colonel, in Garland. It’s located directly across the street from the Soulman’s BBQ. My review for the TC Shaved Ice in Dallas, applies to this location, as well. Word for word

The first time I came here, I got a Rusa and it wasn’t good. The rusa has 2 slices of oranges and one cube of pineapple that is filled with ton of chilli powder. The chilli powder contributed no flavor except that it burned going down your throat. Came back the second time (eating it right now as I write this review), and had a very satisfying experience. I ordered half tamarind and half chamoy shaved ice. The shaved ice is so fine and smooth. The flavor is on point with the chamoy, and the tamarind doens’t taste exact like tamarind but that’s ok, because it’s still good. The level of sweetness is just right. Thumb up!

Love, Love TC Shaved Ice. I get the pineapple/​piña colada with extra cream and juice. Best I’ve ever tasted! =-) I Always go back when I’m in the area.

This is my FAVORITE place to get snowcones in the garland area. Its inexpensive, & I get more than what I pay for.
I like red raspberry & strawberry.
Their elotes in A cup are good too
& They also have this thing called knoccouts. (A scoop of vanilla ice cream on top & A scoop on bottom of ur snowcone.) Yum Yum. Its like A creamy snowcone

I love this place, I’ve got to say Dill Pickle is my fav flavor! The guys are friendly and quick, for the most part they put enough syrup on the sno cone but I do find that if I go closer to closing time the ice isn’t as good and they don’t put enough syrup! Their Rusa drink is great too think spicy grapefruit soda! Out of all the TC shops this is the best one!

The sno cones from TC are delicious!!! Wedding cake with cream is my favorite! Sometimes the lines are super long, though. I’ve waited about 30 min for a sno cone before.

In the world of shaved ice, TC’s is one of the best. The ice is creamy and the flavors are great. They also serve Elotes, a buttery corn concoction that has mexican flavors. The only problem is that it depends on who is making it that day if it is good or not! I love it when it is made right!

Oh, the fond memories that I have of riding on my bike to this little hut in the hot Texas summers and taking in the refreshing and flavorful cup of shaved ice. This hut has been there for at least the last 15 years and still going now with the addition of drive thru windows on BOTH sides of the hut. They also have a front walk up ordering area with a couple of picnic tables.
Their menu of flavors and combinations seem endless as every time you go, you could have something different for at least the next 3 years everyday! I usually just order the mango or peach flavor. It’s so delicious!
They also have Knockouts, which is shaved ice with scoops of ice cream or soft serve (nearly McDonalds quality!). Also, if your craving more of a snack they have nachos and ELOTES (my fav)!
