This place is a great place for cheap pedicures and manicures but for anything else, you need to go somewhere else. After going here 3 times, I’ve made up my mind that I will not be coming back. Here are my experiences:(sorry for the very long post) The first time I went here I was greeted by a man. I showed him a picture of almond nails I wanted. I was directed to sit down at a station and he got down to filing. I heard a rude comment made by one of the other employees about my eyebrows. Once they figured out I was Vietnamese they all became friendly, asking me questions left and right. The man glued down the fake nails on, they were very crooked and you could see the corners coming off. Another women put the acrylic powder on me. She was very rough. She snatched my own hands(like wtf?) I wanted the color from powder(not polish) She made the acrylic very thick. It was horrendous. I asked her to thin it out and she said that if it were to be any thinner they would lift in a couple days. Now I have had almonds nails done multiple times by multiple places, I know how thin it can get. My guess she wanted to make them thick is so I would come back sooner for a fill. The shape was crooked. She topped it off with a clear gel. She missed spots on almost every hand. The second time I went I needed to quickly get nails done for an event that night. I decided to just get a fill with the same color and add have a heart at the end of the tips. A different women worked on me. She was very nice and sweet. She made the acrylic thin(thank god) She tried her best on me but couldn’t get the hearts even. I appreciated her effort but asked her to take off the hearts. I ended up getting a gel top coat again. When I went home I noticed that she missed parts of my nail of the top coat. The fill was also not opaque in color(I suppose that isn’t really her fault) The third and the last time I went was today. I came in wanting them to take these acrylics off and just getting gel on my natural nails. The man who owns the shop was pushy and persuaded me to get another fill. Today is a Sunday so I had to wait 10 minutes because they are short staffed. A different women worked on me. She went ahead and filed down my old acrylic and put oil on, she then put the acrylic powder on me.(Everyone knows you should wash your hands before putting acrylic on) But I let her proceed on. I ended up having to ask her to fill in the corner on my nails with the powder because she missed those parts. She took her time to file down the thickness(she hit my cuticle and I bled a bit). She then reached for the top coat. I quickly asked her if I should wash my hands before she started but she said that the gel would not stick right. Now my nails have nail dust under the gel coat. Again my nails are crooked and are matte in some spots. Thanks for reading my review.

I really wanted to like this place but I feel like I’m just making excuses for them. I came here with my boyfriend because it’s literally a minute away from his house and a coworker recommended getting my nails done here for cheap. I have a hard time finding good nail salons because I understand just enough Vietnamese to know when they are saying my feet look ugly or when they talk to each other about prices for their services. I came in on Memorial Day which apparently was a huge mistake. There was only 5 people there trying to assist about 10+ people. I only had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated for my pedicure but I sat in that seat for 35 minutes before someone was available to see me. By that time, the water my feet was soaking in had gotten cold. Apparently they usually have more staff and there really isn’t much of a wait according to some regulars that I talked to. I really want to go on a rant about this crappy customer who was there because she made the experience terrible for everyone there– staff and customers… But this review would be 5x longer. Boyfriend liked his pedicure but he’s never had one before. I asked for them to give him a manicure too but she just left after she finished with his feet. Mine took off my acrylic tips and I asked her to cut and shape my nails since the tips really damaged my nails but it didn’t even look like she did. She filed it down a little bit but the edges were all torn and rough. I really wish I took a pic to show how terrible my nails looked after she finished. I should’ve had her fix them but I really just wanted to leave the place. The staff was nice to me but they were so rushed that they didn’t do a good job at all. And after I paid, the man behind the register announced in Vietnamese to everyone how much my tip was. I thought it was so rude, especially because I understood what he said. I’m never coming back and I don’t think anyone should go either especially if they’re busy.

When I first reviewed this place I gave it 3 stars. Came back two more times and changed it to 4 stars. I’m back to 3 stars and this time it’s because the service was kind of lacking. I came an hour before they close(30 mins prior to them saying they’ll take the last appointment). I was seated in a chair immediately and my feet soaked for 20 mins before someone started my pedicure. I asked for basic but geez, they didn’t even massage my feet or put lotion on before I left. The lady barely spent 20 mins on my pedicure before she rushed me to the side so my nails could dry. As I sat I observed her cleaning up her stations so she could leave. It was obvious at that point that she was in a hurry to leave so my pedicure suffered. She messed up my nails three times when trying to put my flip flops back on my feet. What a shame. This is probably the last time I come back. I’ve been a total of 5 times and their service is absolutely inconsistent. Sometimes they are awesome and other times they miss the mark. Good luck; hopefully you come on a good day. Don’t come in the evenings. I’ve noticed that’s when quality suffers the most.

The prices are unbeatable and I always get prompt service when I’m a walk in. Often times I’ll just call about an hour or two before I plan to go and they always accommodate me! Only dropped 1 star because the Gel polish I love oh so much has really begun to thin out my nails and I’ll probably need to do some acrylics on my next visit. Also, the chatter is none stop among the nail techs and not much effort is made to get to know a repeat customer.

I think I have found a new favorite nail salon. I had acrylics done previously at another salon and they looked terrible. The last place had put way to much gel over the acrylic and they looked thick, bubbly, and fake. Luckily I came here for a fill and polish change and my manicurist Hung was able to fix it. My nails look 100% better now, they have a much more natural profile. I had him do my nails black and yellow and they came out super cute. The tips are black with a bias line, and yellow on the nail plate. He added a silver line between the shades and rhinestones on one corner. Everyone here was really nice and helpful. I will definitely return when I need another fill or polish change.

I’ve been to a lot of nail shops but this one was really legit for the price. Nothing too extra, nothing too luxurious. It was worth $ 25. I would have enjoyed more conversation in English. Just felt kind rude and distracting. Otherwise it was great.

The price and quality is the main draw here. I’ve been to more luxurious salons but this gets the job done and done pretty well. Definitely one of the better places in Garland. The owner does the best job of anyone there if you can get her.

25 $ mani/pedi’s. They take their time when massaging feet and legs. This place is good when I am in this part of town.

Ive been going to this salon for years now and I love it! Ive never had a bad experience or a crooked finger nail. lol! There is never hardly a wait and if there is it is usually around 10 minutes. The prices are average so I do sometimes try to find cheaper and always end up going back here. They also offer eyebrow waxing for $ 8 but there is only two or three people who can do it and most of the time they are doing nails also. This is a great place to go if you want a consistant nail shop to visit where there are no surprises.
