I really enjoyed my experience today. The people are very friendly, the food comes out fast, and it was delicious. I normally do not eat pizza for lunch because it takes so long for it to cook. This is a great place to go to get pizza for lunch.

Everyone is saying the pizza is ‘burned’, no it’s not, it’s just thin crust that isn’t undercooked, thankfully. It makes it crispy but if you don’t like thin crust, I get it. I think the place is well worth the price and they’ll totally add more of whatever toppings you like. Its a pizza joint, what are you expecting, really y’all. The stars are for that heavy set guy YELLING the names so loudly you actually can’t even understand what the hell he’s saying. He scared the hell out of people walking by which was everyone because the drink station is behind him. I had a freaking headache when I left. The staff is young so, they seem a little timid. I like it but that guy yelling HASTOGOORSHUTUP. Just call ahead and ask if he’s working, that’s what we did and had s much better experience the second time.

Blaze Pizza recently opened up by Cabela’s and at first I really enjoyed them. I went the day they opened and got a free pizza with my boyfriend. Everything was great the first time, so we decided to go back. The next time we visited it was extremely noisy. Maybe we didn’t really care the first time since it was free food? But oh my goodness the person calling out names for pizzas was screaming so loud. Hearing it every few seconds was aggravating. I understand that’s how people know their food is ready, but it really is unpleasant to eat inside because of it. Maybe next time i’ll get a pizza to go. Secondly, the pizza wasn’t that great. The whole bottom was burned and had black bits rubbing off all over my hands as I was trying to eat it. And the only thing they have is thin crust pizza, which I am not really a fan of. I suppose that thin crust cooks best in a wood-fired oven, which I understand, but it would be nice if they had a variety of crusts. I give 5 stars for service and 3 for food overall.

So I’m basing this review on Pizza only type places. Concept is neat, make your own everything, except the crust. And that’s the problem. Their crust is so thin it cooks in 3 minutes, which burns the bottom side and tends to ruin the flavor. It may be some other combinations might be better, but doubt I’ll ever find out as there are simply too many other good choices to give them a second try.

I’m local to Blaze and definitely excited to have more fast casual places in the Garner/Clayton area. Blaze is good… Decent value(about $ 8 for pizza, and you should have leftovers) and great selection of toppings. They are like Moe’s for pizza… You order at the beginning and then tell them what you want on your as you move down the line. I LOVE that all toppings are the same price… I like lots of veggies on mine and don’t think I should have to pay $ 1 for a few slices of banana peppers! The pizzas are thin crust, fast cooked in a wood oven, there were some consistency issues with ours despite the fact that they use a dough punch machine. The staff was friendly, everything was good, it was just nothing to scream about. My husband and i both agreed that we’d rather pay more for Mellow Mushroom quality, but this definitely blows away your typical chain pizza joints. Due to our location and lack of choices, though, we will definitely eat there fairly regularly. $ 16 for two pizzas to feed the family is even less than cheap delivery.

Great pizza and great service. I could eat here all the time. Just a heads u, it’s the new hot place so it’s consistently packed. But worth the wait.

I can’t believe the amount of noise this place generates! The sounds of people talking including the blaring music they play bounces off the walls and ceiling and I can barely hear myself think. I can’t even have a decent conversation with the person sitting across the table! I feel like I need to raise my voice and yell to speak. In addition, when a pizza is ready for pick up, the person yelling the names is very loud. I’ve been here on three separate occasions and you can barely hear the employees speaking to you in line, the line is long and slow, and the noise doesn’t make it pleasant for you to sit inside and enjoy your meal. I will no longer be coming here due to the unpleasant environment.

Blaze Pizza may be the best restaurant so far to open in the new Cabela’s shopping center. The affordable yet tasty build your own pizzas are great and the menu item pizzas don’t disappoint either(get the White Top)…The only con I have is there are no plates, which can make sharing or simply consuming your pizza difficult. However, this is not enough to give this place 4 stars. Staff are friendly and helpful, definitely going to be my local go-to pizza place. Finally something other than nasty delivery!

I will be honest, I am one of those people who do not care for pizza. I have one place in Garner that do from time to time but that is it. Blaze is different. It is fantastic! Crust is nice and thin without being tough, sauce is perfect without being too acidic and the topping are better than expected. Fresh Mozzarella! The price is very reasonable and the staff was friendly and efficient(I was not rushed to make decisions!). I am finding myself thinking very different about pizza. I can’t wait to go back!

This pizza joint was recommended to us by friends. Soooooo good. Make your own pizza and have it made in 180 secs. Tasty, clean and really friendly staff. We will be back again and again. I had gluten free dough, with spicy red sauce, feta, banana peppers, pineapple, spinach and sea salt and arugula. Wood fired to perfection.

As with most new places… some growing pains are to be expected. We had a couple issues that we voiced our concern about and the management was quick to listen and react. Thanks for the timely response. Best of luck with the new shop. I am sure it will do well. Update: Tried this place a second time, and again both pizzas I bought were burned. When I showed it to the cashier and cook, they were both adamant in their assertions that it wasn’t the pizza that was burned, but instead was the flour on the bottom of the pizza. I understand about the cooking at high temps, but good pizza isn’t burned pizza.

Tonight was my first time ever coming to Blaze! I had the worst customer service from Kristin & Tara. They were extremely rude & were rushing us & they were not busy. I told Tara I had never been here but she could care less. I asked her was the dough wheat or just white she looked at me like I was stupid. I proceeded to build my own pizza Kristin stepped up. I asked if I could get sea salt & extra oregano she stated well there is some back in the back of the restaurant. Then when I walked up to pay it was a lady in front me so I was waiting for her. So I said you can go ahead Kristin looked at me like I did something wrong & said she already paid very snappy. Now how was I supposed to know that when I am clearly building my own pizza. My totally was 10.45 I handed Kristin my money 20 dollar bill she snatched it from me then dropped my change in my hand. Let’s be clear I work with people everyday but her attitude was unnecessary as I am a new customer. Oh & Kristin snatched my friends debit card as well. Never again & I drove 30 minutes just to try this new pizza place. I am not from the area but needless to say I will not return to this Blaze. My pizza was delicious. Thanks Brittany

I went here for the grand opening and got a free build your own pizza. Much like the Blaze in Moorisvile, the new Blaze in Garner has awesome service and incredible pizzas. We waited in a line that was out the door for 20 minutes, but once we ordered, everything went very smoothly and the pizzas were baked ridiculously fast, takes them 3 – 4 minutes. I love how they greet you by name and politely ask what you would like on your pizza. The staff was very friendly and keep the long line moving fast. The pizza is awesome. You can’t beat unlimited toppings, especially when they’re good quality ingredients like at Blaze. I love the thin crust they use. It gets super crispy and does not come out greasy. The red sauce is very tasty and seasoned well. I love the variety of cheeses like the shredded mozzarella and crumbled goat cheese. As far as meats, the meatball and Italian sausage are a must for me. It’s good quality meat and not that mystery meat from dominos. I like loading up with fresh veggies too. I love the roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, and roasted garlic. Everything just tastes so fresh and for an amazing price, you really can’t beat it. If you want an $ 8 pizza with unlimited good quality ingredients, Blaze is a must. There are seemingly endless combinations, but you’re guaranteed a fresh, non greasy decent size pizza that’ll make you more than full.
