I came here with my daughter. We ordered the shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were way over cooked. The salad was ok nothing special. Our steak was ok. I won’t be coming back.

Food was great! We came here to try the blooming onion since my party had never tried it. The food was just right and our steaks perfectly cooked. Bravo! Our waitress was awesome. Will definitely go again if I’m in the area!

It’s been a few weeks since my husband and I ate at Longhorn but we had such a great experience, we still compare other restaurants to it. Our waitress was super nice, my martinis were very good, and our food was exceptional!!!

The highlight of my visit was the hostess and she is the reason for the two stars. She sat us at our table and got our bread and drinks. We waited 10 minutes for a waiter. Once our waitress came she informed us only two people were on that night. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken with side salad and baked sweet potato. The chicken was over cooked and drowned in sauce. The salad was a little lettuce with a bunch of croutons. My date ordered the steak bacon cheddar melt. He actually thought it was going to be steak but it was more like shaved roast beef. The sandwich wasn’t eye appealing and the meat was dry and tough even after adding steak sauce. After we picked over our food we sat for 20 minutes waiting to get our check. I will admit I was excited when this location opened and for this to be my first time I just knew it would be worth it but it wasn’t and I think I will drive the extra 20 – 25 minutes to Brier Creek before I return here.

I came in today with my family to check out all the hype. Our server was Pam and to say we were unsatisfied is an understatement. We ordered two draft beers and a vodka/redbull and the server brought me a vodka on rocks without any redbull and says they don’t carry redbull. You have a full service bar, but don’t carry redbull! Okay I’ll let that slide, but the way she handled it made it seem she didn’t care. And still bring me a drink that’s wrong! Then brings out a shotgun Betty instead of the Sam Seasonal, we didn’t even order that beer but apparently she thought it would be okay. Requested a manager, got what drinks we wanted but was so disappointed with the first impression. The server herself came up very un-knowledgable and very nervous. She was not busy either. Has no knowledge of the menu throughout. I know it’s a new restaurant, but expected Darden to be better. The food was great, but service makes all the difference. Wish I would come back but undoubtably.

In the overall scheme of restaurants, this is above average. In the vein of the more upscale steakhouses it’s about average. I would have. 3.5 if it were possible. A group of 5 went and got 4 different items. General consensus was it was average but not outstanding. This was opening week for this location and wait and service a little slow, but not unexpected as they work out the kinks.

We attended the soft opening on 9÷20÷15. Our service was outstanding and the food was delicious as well. Our table ordered the wild west shrimp for appetizer which was a very large portion — plenty for 4 people and was tasty with a nice spicy kick; for entress we had prime rib, ribeye, blue ridge wedge salad(which is a romaine wedge — pleasant surprise), strawberry & pecan salad which was very large for a side salad, and the chocolate stampede dessert(again, plenty for 4 people). The lead trainer brought us an extra entrée — the outlaw ribeye — to make-up for them not having the end cut of prime rib someone wanted. We all sampled that and decided we will definitely order that next time around — I don’t know of any other places in the area where you can get an 18 oz bone-in ribeye and fixings for $ 24.99. Overall, a great experience!

Want a good steak? Go to LongHorn Steakhouse in Garner. I had their Harvest Mushroom Filet. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. I especially liked the«bold spices» seasoning. Not only was the food great, so was the service! The entire staff, from hostess to sever made us feel at home. The décor was inviting. I liked the stacked stonewalls contrasted by white stucco type walls. The paintings and horn chandeliers were perfect. I am already planning my next visit.
