The only good thing at this restaurant is the salad and the rolls. The meat is really low quality. It’s a god place for lunch. It’s not a good steakhouse.

My wife had to take the kids to the optometrist today. The appointments took a lot longer than she had expected. She sent me a text and suggested we eat at Logans. I agreed and we met up there. We were seated very quickly. We noticed that it was not very busy and servers were walking all around. Noone came over to our table. We sat for close to 10 minutes eating peanuts and hadn’t even been approached by anyone. Two ladies were seated two booths away from us and immediately a server walked over to take their drink order. That’s when I told my wife to get her coat and we were leaving. As we left we told the hostess that we would have stayed but no one would talk to us, and next think I hear is thank you! The manager was walking around asking tables how things were going and even he had walked past us. I guess they didn’t want our 60 – 70 dollars tonight. We were there at 620pm. We took our kids and money to Subway. this review is late as I thought I had posted it but I hadn’t. This happened in early November, 2015

Worst experience ever had at Logan’s. Horrible attitude from manager on duty. I would say more but my mama taught me just to keep my mouth shut if I couldn’t say anything nice :)

Needed some good protein so I gave this a shot. It was not terrible but more than ¼ of my 12oz ribeye was inedible fat. And for taste. It was WAY over seasoned. This ribeye was only ¼″ thick. Did not look like the juicy ribeye pictured on their menu. After spending $ 26(including tip) on a not-so-great steak, small sweet potatoe, side salad and drink. I do not think I will return. My waitress was very nice, that’s about all.

The food was about average. Ribs were literally«fall off the bone» and tasty, sautéed mushrooms had no flavor, steak was cooked properly and was ok. Service was bare minimum. Our waitress took our order, and another server delivered the food. She did not know the beer menu. Asked about the local and seasonal beers — she didn’t know. The place was dirty. Blinds and light fixture in our booth was coated with dust, cobwebs in the window. And the peanut shells on the floor — I know that’s «a thing» and I guess the health Dept is ok with it, but it’s a turn off for me. Found a screw laying in our table — actually our 2 year old found it. Not good. Much better places in the area. We won’t be back.

My hubby and I love Logan’s and we always come here for special occasions. On Friday, we visited Logan’s and we got there around 2pm. Since it was pretty early, it was empty and we did not have to wait. We got our table right away, and like always, we got rolls in couple minutes. We both LOVE Logan’s rolls and as soon as we got our rolls, we ordered cheese fries for appetizer. Like my hubby always says«My best part of the rolls is when cheese fries gets here». We had our cheese fries soon and there was a LOT of cheese on top of our fries! After we got cheese fries, we ordered our steak as well. Since they were not that busy, our food came real quick and they were so good. My steak was perfect and my side menu was amazing too! Veggies were super warm, soft and buttery taste and my cinnamon apples were so sweet and good, too! I’ve never taken pictures of our food at Logan’s before, but this time, I did! Our food was SO good and I can’t wait to visit Logan’s again, soon!!!

Good eats! Super casual and informal. Peanut shells on the floors. Warm, soft, buttery yeast rolls… They are very busy and noisy but the meal is usually worth it.

Great place, if you don’t mind waiting a little bit longer than usual to get food. Waiters are nice and make your visits pleasant. The peanuts and bread are fantastic, and it’s fun to throw the peanuts on the floor. Food is generic… Chain steakhouse food.

Logan’s is usually always packed so my mom and I opt to find seats at the bar which we are usually successful at. I think that Logan’s is a decent place to get a steak in the Garner area. The food is always good but my favorite would have to be those delicious rolls with butter! My one complaint: at these types of restaurants you can throw your peanut shells on the ground but I would recommend sweeping them up throughout the day so it does not look like you have not cleaned the floor in days.

If you are a gambling man, then this is the place for you. You might have a good meal, or it might be downright bad. Same goes with the service, of which I have had excellent experiences, and others less so(including one time when a large waiter talked to our table for about 10 minutes about his weight loss struggles and future plans). Order a salad at your own risk — they often come out somewhat waterlogged.

Ive been here twice on my worldwide chain steakhouses tour and this was so far the lowest rated in my opinion. The first time I came I was with the family and after the waitress took out order the it took almost an hour for the food to come out. Im a very patient patron but I can’t say the same for my wife! I don’t like to judge anyone NEGATIVELY on 1st appearances. So we tried again with my brother and his girlfriend. Same experience but this time the food came out on time but wrong! And at that time the young tried to argue that we ordered the wrong thing. After he figured out he was indeed mistaken he apologized but needless to say the damage was done. In my opinion the steaks are a little thin for the 18oz ribeye and really didn’t have that much flavor. But the drinks were good thus why I gave them 2 stars. On to the next!

I got the onion brewski steak which was mostly good. The edges were a little well done however it was medium in middle so I would say I’m happy with the steak The onions grilled with amber bock beer were ok steak was 3 stars The mashed potatoes sucked didn’t even eat ¼ of them. I think they just skinned a baked potato and smashed it not smooth or creamy. I give these 0 stars The wait staff and bartender were good for the most part again however the bartender has too much on her plate trying to get so much done and ready didn’t spend much time behind the bar. She did check on me and my drink never went empty so I give here 4 stars

My parents were in town and my dad doesn’t like to venture out too much of his comfort zone — so we headed for a chain restaurant. Logan’s was our choice. Dad wanted some sort of a mixed and fruity drink — we thought, Logan’s Roadhouse«Teas.» I guess they might be some variation of a Long Island Iced Tea. My husband ordered the Grateful Dead — it didn’t taste like an LIT at all — very sweet and blue in color. Large in size too. Food wise, I thought he would be happy too. Secretly, I was excited for some yeast rolls and the Onion Brewski sirloin. I’m not a huge steak eater but, the flavor of this steak — the grilled onions that it sits atop of, it is yummy. No steak sauce needed — maybe just more of the onions on the bottom(it’s topped with onion straws too). ¾ of us ordered the Onion Brewski. All of us agreed — the flavor was great — the cut of steak — all of them were a little chewy. Could go for a different cut next time but darn, the Onion Brewski preparation — yum.

Short version — I won’t return. My steak was bad. That’s unforgiveable at a steakhouse. Long version — We went here for an early lunch today. The good: My husband’s 9 oz steak, my daughter’s chicken tenders and fries, yeast rolls, and my baked sweet potato were good. I liked the peanuts and the concept of being able to throw the shells on the floor. That was kind of fun. Our server was nice, the food delivery timing was good, and our drinks were kept refilled. The ok: The salads were not as good as at other steakhouses — too much bacon bits and lettuce, not enough other interesting stuff to add flavor(cheese, tomato, onion). My son’s burger was too charred. The bad: My steak was not good. I ordered the 6 oz filet, cooked medium. What arrived appeared to be a bleached-out piece of gristle that vaguely resembled a piece of meat. I looked like a piece of pork that had been put through a garbage disposal. I don’t know what happened — bad quality control? very old cow? frozen and thawed several times? The women’s restroom was filthy. It had not been cleaned from the previous night, and their cleaning routine is obviously not thorough.

You know, I can’t always put my finger on why I don’t go to Logan’s more often. It’s not that the food is bad. Quite the contrary. It’s usually prepared and seasoned well. The chicken here is above average, even if the steaks are standard fare. The drinks are good. Roadhouse iced teas(with an extra bit of alcohol) are good — at least according to my wife. The tea is strong and sweet. Plus, you can throw your peanut shells on the floor, which is always a fun experience. I think the general thing that keeps me from coming back is the atmosphere of the place. It just doesn’t feel welcoming or comfortable to me. The staff is competent, but not particularly notable. It’s always last on my list of places to go at White Oak. And for those reasons, it breaks down like this: Food: 4* Ambiance: 3* Service: 3*
