Great store with lots of selection. It’s a little pricier than other Michaels stores I’ve been to though. But it’s clean and well organized. Will go back again when I need more craft supplies!

This is a standard Michael’s. It seems very similar to the one in Crossroads in Cary, however I have found this one better stocked. It’s not as crowded, either, and I’m sure those two facts are related ;-)
This is a good place place to come for basic art supplies. If they have it, the price will be about as cheap as anywhere else. If you need anything beyond the basics (though it can be surprising what they do carry here), then try a specialty art supply store. I had to buy some things for an art class. The Cary location had the specific paper I needed, but not the brushes or inks. This store had these (but not the smaller package of paper – go figure).
