FastMed Urgent Care

An email address, if you really were concerned you would have picked up phone and called the number on my file! That’s how a GOOD business should run !

I went to Fastmed in Garner, NC after incurring shoulder injury at work. As time passed it felt worse and hindered almost anything I did from driving to standing up straight, to sleeping. I believe an apprentice saw me who was nice and professional. He made me do movements with my shoulder, took x-​rays, and the doctor then came in and touched my shoulder for about 2 seconds and left.
I then was prescribed Motrin and a muscle relaxer. I gave the Motrin and muscle relaxer a shot for two days and still was in a lot of pain. When I called in to tell them that, they said they could do nothing more for me!!! I also was about out of anxiety and depression medication (one of which is an anti-​psychotic) and they refused to prescribe me a refill or at least enough to get through the week until I could see a psychiatrist. I will never go here again!!! In my opinion they just want to take money from insurance companies and not help patients!!! And to the doctor that visited for all of 30 seconds… YOU ARE NOT THE FEMALE «HOUSE»!!! And everyone is not a drug addict or junkie!!! I feel this establishment has below poor service, and if you have anything more than what an aspirin and a shot of whiskey can’t fix… go somewhere else. I hope this review is helpful for anyone who is having serious medical issues… this is not the place for you.

I like the speed and the intake nurse. She was thorough and asked good questions and actually listened! I didn’t like the nurse who weighed me because she had on perfumed lotion and I have sensitivities to perfumes and lotions. I felt that the doctor didn’t really listen to what I was telling him, especially since I was 100% certain what the root cause and treatment was… since I have experienced it so many times before. Because if the intake nurse, the speed and the doctor finally hearing what I was saying it gets a three. I’ve had better service at the clinic on Hwy 70 in Clayton.

These people are knuckleheads. I have a kidney transplant and the PA that I saw had no idea how that all worked total baboon. Then prescribed me antibiotics that were totally contra indicated for my situation. And to top it of 1 month later they just randomly charged my debit card an extra $ 15 for who knows what. Awful service idiot medical staff never even saw an MD there. DO NOT GO IN TO THIS PLACE. If you do your putting your health in the wrong hands.

I’ve been here a few times and they are busy– however they get me in and take care of the problem– always nice and efficient
