Do NOTRECOMMEND! Worst restaraunt ever went with six people for birthday dinner one of our guest found a beard hair in his plate they apologize and asked to get him if he would like another meal wich he declined then my daughter found a long hair in her plate at this point we were all done and no longer wanted to eat our meals however they charged us $ 85 for the meals wich we left on the table! And went to get cookout! The owner said maybe it was your hair Really! And now my daughter is sick from her meal, happy birthday to her. Very Dirty Place!

Terrible place to eat. Went there with family. The chicken and shrimp in our pastas tasted microwaved. The breadsticks were stale. The soups had way over cooked noodles in it. Service was terrible. Should have known by lack of cars in the parking lot that the place was a bust. Left unsatisfied.

This would be our destination tonight for date night. When we arrived we were told we had a 15 minute wait, so we sat down and waited. When we were finally taken to our table, I couldn’t help notice all the empty(and clean) tables around us. I can only assume they are short staffed. Larren comes to the table and we order 2 teas and my husband gets stuffed mushrooms. His app comes out quickly and I order linguini and maranara while he gets the chicken and mushroom linguini. The meals come with breadsticks and I get salad while we gets sausage and potato soup. My salad dressing tastes like someone dumped salt in it but the hubs says his soup is ok. Our meals fare better but just nothing outstanding. I make better pasta. Now I am a server myself so I know how to provide a great dining experience. When our meal arrives, the server who dropped it off said she would be back with me tea. She never came back. And we didnt see Lauren until we were almost done. I think she was afraid if she stayed at the table for more than a second we would ask for something. We ask for more tea and togo boxes. She brought back both but the tea was warm and she didnt bother to add ice. It takes a few minutes before she comes back over and just drops off th check and starts to dash. We had to ask for more ice and I was going to ask fr desert but she takes off so I have to wait until she comes back before I can do that. Despite the wait by the time we left, the place wasnt busy enough to warrant such poor service. Given the number of other restaurants in Garner and Raleigh. I dont think I will be back.

I could see this place appearing on Kitchen Nightmares. The food was terrible. I ordered the chicken parmesan. It only took them 10 minutes to get it to me from the time the order was placed. There’s no way a fresh dish can be made that quick without the help of a microwave. Italian needs be simple and fresh. What I was served was greasy and stale. Will not be back.

I come here every time on my way to Raleigh. There’s only one left In NC so there’s no way I pass this up. Love the spaghetti. I eat myself silly on the bread sticks. One of my favorite restaurants.

I have to say this was one of the worst Italian places I have ever been to. We had numerous items the so called awesome mozzarella sticks, yes they are huge logs but they are tasteless with sauce that came out of jar to dip them in. Next I ordered the chicken pizziola, very bland and extra runny sauce with soggy chicken. Husband got stuffed chicken it was also soggy with shrimp that was minced and probably out of a can. For our children to have some salad we had to pay 3.00 a piece even though as an adult you could order endless soup salad and bread for 2.50! Now to talk about the service not only was Alexandria one of the rudest waitresses we have ever had, she was horrible. She actually slammed our plates down cause we asked for more bread. She would cut us off in mid sentence and and huff and puff about anything we asked for. This has to be the worst excuse for Italian, I’m not a fan of olive garden at all but would choose that over this place any day. Stay far away from this place… far.

They catered for one of my companies events and have since gained a few customers. Their food was nothing short of excellent.

No better deal for the quality meal! For $ 30, two can have a delicious dinner. Of course, alcoholic beverages add to the bill, but using tea here. Great service

Ever since I moved close to Garner I have fallen in love with this place! Not much different than the Olive Garden, similar. Free salad which I love. My favorite is the meat lovers lasagna. Wife and daughter love the chicken alfredo. Highly recommend this place!!!

Really nice Italian restaurant that was across the street from my hotel. They have several gluten free options, which is nice and the house dressing is quite good. I ordered shrimp scampi with polenta that was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Maybe the best grilled polenta that I have ever tasted. I ended up eating there twice in one week. Although I could not try the pasta dishes, each one looked amazing. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to enjoy their choices. I will most definitely dine here again.

So truth be told– 20 Years ago I worked at a Ragazzi’s in Raleigh and was a HUGE fan of many of their dishes. I stopped in the Garner location for the first time ever to grab lunch with a friend, curious as to how it would hold up after all this time. What I found was a mix of my old favorites(that it seems nobody else offers) and some new offerings to keep the menu relevant. The monster cheese sticks still exist, and are still a one of a kind idea that any first timer must try. The Roasted Italian Potatoes are still there, and for my money I don’t know who makes better«Italian Hash Browns». It was like having an old family recipe again. Chili powder, peppers and potatoes, simple ingredients-awesome results. Calamari always was great, still is. Salad was always the big draw back in the day, and it’s still a better and tastier version of what Olive Garden offers. As for my meal, I had Short Rib Stroganoff and my buddy had the Chicken Cannelloni, we split both to get more bang for the buck. Both were good, but if I had to pick only one next time it would be the Cannelloni. The sauce makes the dish great, Alfredo really does not get much better than theirs. I was craving the dish going in, and next time I’ll hog it all myself. In short, prices were great and it’s perfect comfort food. Service was fine, adequate and informed. Though I was glad to see they had a decent lunch crowd, I’m definitely going back with the family for dinner. My kids are picky but they have an affordable and approachable kids menu.

We live near Ragazzi’s so when we want Italian it’s where we go. I used to live in downtown Raleigh and would definitely choose 518 West or Gravy over this place, but they aren’t so much better that it’s worth the extra drive or money when we wanna take the kids as well(If it’s just me and the wife, we are going to Jimmy V’s Osteria and Bar, Gravy, 518 West in that order before here… if you have a group, definitely do Jimmy Vs Osteria and request an outside table because it is awesome). Ragazzi’s is a typical Italian restaurant. Decent breadsticks, good salad. Calamari was pretty good as well. I do really like the Mac and Cheese… whether the main menu option or the kids menu(small size with only cheese on the bow tie pasta and no bacon and whatever else is on the main course option). The chicken Marsala is not bad… I get it fairly regularly. The balsamic chicken was quite good… I really liked the polenta. The spaghetti with meat sauce is pretty generic, but still edible… the kids like it. The Alfredo is pretty good as well. I haven’t had their pizzas yet… but they did look pretty good when I briefly saw some. One thing that they do have very unique, that’s also very good, are the mozzarella sticks(they should be called logs). They are huge… like as big as your wrist… I definitely would recommend them as they are very good. All in all… it’s a solid option if you are in the area, and it’s kid friendly. One of my wallet friendly with good service and food go-to family restaurants. Definitely good for the price… but if you are looking for a fancier place for a date or large group, go downtown

I really love eating here. The food has always been very good, service superb, no complaints whatsoever. Can’t beat the price for A+ food Ragazzi’s has. I never leave here feeling I did not get enough to eat! Really love the super sized mozzarella sticks!

We used to love Ragazzis. It was much better than Olive Garden, but today we found a new menu, with much higher prices, breadsticks weren’t as good and they no longer have my husband’s favorite item, seafood portofino(he said it was the best clam sauce he had ever tasted). Sad to say we probably won’t be back. $ 12 for spaghetti with 2 meatballs is not worth the gas.

Wasn’t the best place in the world. Thought we were going somewhere that wasn’t chain-like and ewy, but we were proven otherwise.

The service was excellent. Food was not. The restaurant smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in 10 years. I have no plans to go back. The food wasn’t bad exactly, just low quality. I walked in wanted to try desert but the food convinced me that I wouldn’t like it. I tried North & South, which was fettucine alfredo(no chicken), meat lasagna, and a very small portion of chicken parmagiana. I asked for salad which came in a big bowl but looked like it was sitting in the frig for a while. The breadsticks tasted under cooked. I gave the server(BJ) a big tip but I was glad to get out of there. I knew about the bad reviews here but thought I’d give it a try. I guess I should have paid attention to those reviews!

I was back in Raleigh last night and boy I have to add another star because I had such a great experience here. The Pasta Fagioli soup was even better than I remembered. It is so delicious! Normally I do not order soups at restaurants but this soup is too good to pass up. I will mention again that the wine is such a great deal at this place. Ordered the house chianti again and over indulged :-) The chicken marsala was good but I though the red sauce over the pasta was out of place. The mozzarella sticks are huge and a heart attack on a plate and I would not suggest as the calories and fat far outweigh the taste.

It’s one of our favorite places to eat for the entire family. The staff is friendly, the food is usually spot on. The Sunday deal with kids eating free is a great deal. I recommend the Chicken Lemonata or Lemon Chicken w/Capers… excellent dishes!
