Snoopy’s Hot Dogs

Go up here every once in a while with my grandpa for some hotdogs! They are delicious and the staff there are very kind! Definitely recommended!

My husband loves this place and I have only been here twice. The first time was okay, but the second time here was awesome! The hot dogs are good but I absolutely love their fries. They are a nice crinkle cut, and usually I’m not a fan of crinkle. Hot dogs come with mustard, chili, and onions unless you specify. I usually get only mustard and chili, and add some cheese. The combo of two dogs and a fry is really good since it comes with a drink as well.

Wow, I’ve never reviewed Snoopys? Well I’ve been a few times to a few of their locations over the years, especially on those late nights after the bars closed.
Now that I’m more settled in my life we get a carry out order from the ⁴⁰⁄₄₂ store now and then, on busy weekends or weeknights when carry out makes more sense than cooking. It’s hard not to argue when its ½ off Tuesdays, the dogs are $ 1.09 each. «The dogs» come with mustard, onions and chili in a steamed bun, unless you tell them otherwise. I love them with mustard and sauerkraut too. Everything is made to order.
They also have some really good Chicken Salad (on the sweet side), great Burgers and Fries, BBQ Sandwiches, BLTs and Chicken Sandwiches, and seasonal Soup.
Snoopys was started here in Raleigh by a local couple in 1978 and has grown to 4 locations in the area. Support your local businesses and have a Snoopys Dog! :-)

Love Snoopys! The people here are polite and efficient. We come every Tuesday for the $ 1.09 hot dogs and even when there’s a line we get our food quickly. The hot dogs and chili are the best! Ratio chili to hot dog are exactly right.

It’s a hot dog. But if you have ever been to/​through Atlanta, it’s not a Varsity hot dog, despite looking very similar. It wasn’t a bad hot dog, but I don’t think it measures up if your standard is a Varsity dog.

I absolutely love their hot dogs and the great local feel this place has. Been here many times before and would recommend it to anyone! Hot dogs are awesome with the French fries and my husband loves the double cheeseburger too. Still haven’t tried the fried bologna sandwich but I need to!

Sunday and Tuesday’s are 99 cent dog days. What’s not to like? Great dogs… regular for me and the red ones for my southern wife. Krout, onions and chili. add the onion rings and I’m a happy camper. Great staff also.

Are their hot dogs good? Yes. Are they worth the price? on .99 days… yes. Any other day, they price themselves out of the local market. There are at least two establishments near by that serve nearly the same product for much less… except for .99 days. Unfortunately, I always get the dog craving on every day but. I love the idea of a hot dog joint, but lets be real, hot dogs are cheap, and they should be sold cheap. A place like this just can’t do that with their overhead. Nice place to sit though.

Hotdogs are always hot and fresh… fries are good plan or with chili.

Tuesday and Sunday :99 cent hotdogs!

The hotdogs are very good and love the toppings, they have red and brown hotdogs, only eat here Sunday or Tuesday when the hotdog are .99 cents. Any other day of the week I would say is overpriced

We’ve been to the Garner location several times, and it’s always a good meal for the family. This week I took our two young children by myself for a quick dinner out. As you may know, being outnumbered 2 to 1 by kids can make for eventful eating out. Especially on $.99 hot dog night! We went early to minimize the disruption we would cause at dinnertime to other innocent diners. The staff was super nice and accommodating, especially the young lady behind the counter. She was friendly and respectful to my 6 and 2 year old while we ordered and was kind enough to bring our food to the table when our number was called and my hands were full getting drinks. My 6 year old was super proud that she pinned his coloring page up on the bulletin board too. It’s the little things you appreciate when you’re wrangling kids on your own!
The food was great. Hot dogs can be dicey at restaurants, but we’ve never been disappointed. 6 year old likes the option to get red and brown dogs. I love the chili, mustard, onion dogs and the French fries and onion rings. The cheeseburgers are good too (add jalapeños!)

Snoopy’s is Snoopy’s, you can’t beat it for a hot dog craving. This location is really clean and nice and big, with lots of room to sit inside. The fries were fresh and delicious and it’s very family friendly. My husband is obsessed with this place and was pretty much ecstatic when we found this one so close to our new home. We will be back again, I’m sure!

Went to this location in Garner recently. It is a small, cute, little diner-​feel like the other Snoopy’s in Raleigh but there was seating room inside and not the walk-​up window, however this one has a drive-​thru. The hot dogs are the standard Snoopy’s hot dogs, hot, yummy, cheap, and gets the job done when you want something quick and will cure your hunger when you are in a hurry.
Of course the visit couldn’t be perfect. The staff behind the ordering counter were slinging around racist slurs and while I was dining, a female apparently was fired and started yelling at the staff, all of the people in the waiting area and was cursing up a storm. DRAMA! She finally left but made me worry a bit that she was coming back in with her gat to blow us away, postal style. I soon gathered my things and left. Hope this isn’t a daily occurence.
