Economical Mini Mart. Good alternative to Walmart. Decent price for produce and meats. Selection not as great as Wegmans, but you can’t beat the price. Rent a cart for a refundable $.25 when returned to cart depot. Bring your own bags or you can buy the. I just use the emty product box off the shelves that they will assumingly recycle after they close for the day.

Love this location! It’s one of the newest Aldis in the ROC area. Always clean and well stocked. Also I love that is sooo close to Chase bank, dollar tree, and wegmans.

Aldi is a great little store for the person who wants to stretch their dollar a little further. They’re nowhere near as big as a Tops or Wegmans, so don’t plan on doing your weekly grocery shopping here. Aldi gets a lot of their products shipped in from international brands(especially Germany), so they have a lot of great alternatives at a cheaper price. Looking for mini muffins or Fiber One bars? Aldi has a cheaper off brand. Looking for some cheese and crackers to go with your wine? Aldi has great cheeses at fantastic prices. They even have a small bakery section where you can find all kinds of breads and bagels. If you have an Aldi near you and you’re looking to save a little money on some of your groceries, check them out. Just remember to bring a reusable bag or two. Aldi doesn’t put your purchases in plastic bags like other stores do, but they have paper and reusable bags under the check out counter that you can purchase. Depending on what type of bag you get it can cost you anywhere from $ 0.06-$ 1.

A lot of people hate on Aldis, or are too snobby to grocery shop here, but I am a fan of these stores. Bring a quarter if you want a cart, it helps them staff less people so groceries can be cheaper. The food is really good quality, it’s cheaper, and sometimes they have awesome speciality items, especially around the holidays. The company is German, and they have lots of german chocolates, lebküchen, desserts, and belgian waffle bites with carmel… yeah my inner fatty is coming out. Aldi is a great place to stop if you want to make a killer cheese plate. They have reasonably priced nuts and dried fruits, and a great cheese selection. Sometimes you can get blocks of Dubliner Irish Cheddar for 3 bucks(they can be closer to 7 at Tops or Wegmans). Last week they had Jarlsberg chunks for 5, and lots of different goudas and cheddars. Milk, butter and eggs are cheaper, and they also have good coffee creamers. Produce is a hit or a miss, same with the meat section. If you want really good produce, you have to go on the shipment day, or the day after. In terms of their perishable goods, and specialty items though, I always make it a point to stop in during the week to get some essentials. Brockport and Mt. Rd Aldi stores are the best, and then Gates and Henrietta are a little less nicer, but still carry most of the same items.
