Oh I can’t believe I didn’t write a review for this place right away. What a waste of money. I foolishly thought this would be like the Karmelkorn that I loved as a kid. I really wish I had asked for a sample. My mom and I bought boxes of the stuff. I spent like $ 30. It smelled so good and I had such happy memories of this popcorn(maybe the just have the same name only) from my childhood. It was HORRIBLE. Beyond horrible. I love popcorn. And I will generally suffer through bad food if I paid for it. I tried, honestly I did. I ate some. I asked my mom if thought it was OK. She said she did so I gave it all to her. I found out later that she really didn’t like it either and ended up throwing it away. Ugh. Lesson learned. Learn from my mistakes!

Stopped in during a recent trip to Gatlinburg, the family purchased caramel and cheese popcorn. Both Delicious, the kids devoured it and the service was quick and friendly — worth stopping in during your next visit, treats make a great gift

I’ve stopped her before to get Icees and while they are ok, the popcorn is not. I got the smallest box of caramel corn(which isn’t small at all) and didn’t eat any of it! After a few bites I just couldn’t do it anymore and started throwing it to birds. We got a free caramal apple with the purchase of 3 Icees and it was pretty good but I wish we had the option of no nuts. I’d skip this place for something better like Aunt Mahalia’s.

Popcorn is great! But the attitude of the people that work there is TERRIBLE! I’m not only saying that because of just one visit, lol. Everytime we have been there they have been rude! Which is probably around 5 or 6 times. I don’t know why I return to tell you the truth. I’m sure they could care less. All I can say is the popcorn is fresh and it’s good. Just order what you want and leave! Lolol.

Was craving Caramel Corn and loved the idea of this shop. Needless to say, I walked away with no popcorn. Was not greeted at all with someone standing in the shop. Then stood there observing the popcorn and the gentlemen started making some popcorn. About 5 mins later another guy walked out, can I help you?, I asked what kind of popcorn he was making and he said Caramel Corn sarcastically. There are about 5 popcorns you can pick from so I did not know. He just stood there and looked at me. I made some comment about not being able to decide what flavor, and he did not offer me a kernel to sample so I left. The smallest amount of popcorn you could buy was over $ 5 so I was not spending my money on something I was not aware if it was good or not. Thank you for wasting my time KarmelKorn!

Karmelkorn Shop has been in the Gatlinburg staple for a very long time. Their product is timeless with a vast variety selection of caramel corn, candy apples, and other fun items to accommodate a sweet tooth. I came here with my mother who got the caramel corn craving. She got the authentic caramel corn whereas I got the cheddar popcorn. Both equally delish with a hefty price tag. A small bag will cost ya nearly $ 5 with taxes. This is coming from someone who admits they’re stingy, you decide if it is worth the money or not. Honestly it is a good solid product. Really good stuff that you will find a lot of in Gatlinburg, but nothing can beat the original which is exactly what Karamelkorn Shop has.

A friend told me about this place. Yummy warm popcorn and just as yummy cold the next day. I got the small with a mix of kettle corn and the karmelkorn. The box looks like an old timie popcorn bag, but I like that the server then put it in plastic to preserve the freshness. I could keep it in my hotel room and not worry about gnoshing on stale popcorn the next few days. Not that it will last that long.

All I can say is I’m addicted to this stuff. Warm Karmelkorn with peanuts… must diet for a week before we go to Gatlinburg knowing I’m going to eat stuff like this!
