Excellent hidden off the beaten path little gem of a pub-feeling atmosphere with a tasty menu variety and friendly service. The Hillbilly Philly was good for lunch and the seasoned chips were a nice side. I’d definitely hit this spot again since it’s just far enough off the crazy strip to be quiet but just close enough to not be out of the way to get there.

We stopped in Tom and Earls for a light snack but what we got was a heavy smack, in the face. The waitress came and took our drink orders. My aunt ordered a beer that on the menu said it was bottled. However when the waitress brought it to us it was draft. My aunt cannot drink draft beer for… medical reasons. When she asked about it the waitress said«the menus wrong», took the drink and walked away in a huff without finding out what she could bring my aunt. My aunt walked to the bar to complain. Meanwhile the rest of us where brought our drinks in very dirty glasses. We asked for straws since we didn’t want to complain based on the previous incident. The waitress began to speak to us like we were two. «Aww. You want straws?» She left and returned with the straws and began asking us(still like we were two) «Do you need a straw? You sure? You might spill? Does anyone else need a straw?» She was pronouncing«Straw» as «Stwaah». Obviously the text doesn’t do her voice justice but you probably get the idea. Needless to say we left. The main problem is that we’re locals. I understand treating tourists poorly since they’re not your regulars but seriously. This is one alley you dont want to go down. Stick to the dark alleys of New York, I guarantee you’ll have more fun.

Very good spot for last minute lunch. Wasn’t packed during lunch like other places(pretty hidden gem!) I had grilled cheese and creamy tomato bisque — was yummy and perfect for the rainy/gloomy day. Hubby had spicy burger with ghost pepper cheese and jalepenos. He loved it. We had chili cheese fries as appetizer, they were decent. Service was A– and food came out quickly. Pretty affordable for being in a tourist spot.

We went here on the recommendation of an employee at the Davy Crockett distillery. It is a nice change of pace if you are in a tourist town and don’t want to do a chain resturant. It’s like a typical local sports bar, tucked at the end of an alleyway lined with shops. I recommend the corn nuggets, which our table ended up getting a second order or. I got the Big Bear Burger, which is really spicey, but really good. I will definitely be stopping in again next time we’re in town.

The food and the service was great. The Hillbilly Philly and the Parkside panini were excellent. We walked by this place several times in the past. This time we stopped in. The staff made the meal very enjoyable; they seemed to really enjoy working there.

This place was good. Really good. Much, much better than I expected given that it’s located in such a touristy destination. My fiancé and some friends were in Gatlinburg over the weekend and decided to grab some dinner. We wanted a place that the locals frequent and the woman at Davy Crockett’s recommended Tom & Earl’s. We expected it to be crowded at 6:45 on a Saturday night, especially considering the Alabama & Florida game was on(SEC town, y’all!) but our party of 6 was seated really quickly. Our drink and food orders were taken really quickly by one of the nicest servers I’ve ever had(I wish I had gotten her name!) and our orders came out quickly. Our table shared the fried pickles and the corn nuggets which were so good that we ordered a second basket. For my entrée I had the turkey & ham panini with pesto pasta salad which was really good and my soon to be hubby had the Bear Burger which was super spicy but had a really great flavor also. The rest of the table raved about the chili and the BBQ. We’re in Gatlinburg a couple of times a year, usually so we will be back.

Burger was good and wife’s wrap was good. We ordered two fries and a single add on would have been plenty. Price wise it is overpriced but to be expected in such a tourist town.

Rude server– Kim spent more time crabbing about my ID expiration date than actually listening to my drink order. Overpriced, poor quality food. Shoney’s isn’t a far better option.

Rockin’ great spot on the strip. You’ll love the ambiance here. The vibe is so great. Menu is varied with options for everyone. If you’re doing Gatlinburg you need to stop here. I has the Pig Lovers Panini and it was superb. I asked them to add ghost pepper cheese to it — yep piled on the ham and bacon and cheddar. No kidding it was fantastic. My son had the Hikers thing and tho it’s a big sandwich, he did it proud. Mark took excellent care of us and we’ll be back. Crinkle fries and kids… classic fave! Great beer selection and full bar for whatever you and the bartender dream up! Nice patio too that be a perfect evening getaway! We’ll be back for sure.

Great lunch spot! The food was really good, service was very friendly and the music was very 90s rock! The best part is, since it’s not right on the main strip, there was no wait for lunch, even though all the other restaurants were slammed. Only downfall was that the food took a little while to come out, but you can tell they put time into it!

Sweetwater blue on tap, apple and pork panini, and live keyboard player on Saturday night. For a tourist town, this is pretty good. Wished for a touch more variety on the menu and with the live music but it’ll do. Per friendly patio and friendly service. Saw a full bar behind the counter too. Mostly domestics on tap but rocky hop and sweetwater blue made this list!

If you are trying to get away from the craziness that comes with Gatlinburg then this is a place to grab a bite to eat. After a day of hiking the Smoky Mountains and the entire family was ready to eat a live bear. This place became the bear and did the job. We started off an appetizer with fried creamed corn. While my oldest decided it wasn’t for her my youngest took the basket and allowed me to have a few of the Nuggets. I had the Hillbilly Philly for dinner and this tasty treat did the job. The perfect portion of meat, cheese, peppers, and onions and the ability to dip it in an AU jus was great for my empty belly. I never asked my family how their food tasted as I felt like a hillbilly eating since I was so hungry. Sorry folks! I had no manners what so ever. Being off the beaten path and the live music did it for me. I hate the craziness of gatlinburg and the place made me enjoy gatlinburg for a few hours.

Horrible service!!! Went there for lunch today and decided to eat outisde, from the moment we sat down, the female server with a piercing just below her lip, she did not say her name and I didn’t bother asking her. She was just so rude, bitchy, and very unpleasant. What happend to the southern hospitality here? So we walked out after she gave us that horrible attitude. SMH -.- if I could give it zero stars, I definitely would!
