Staff is very friendly and the food is ok, however I think it is overpriced for the food that you get. I ordered a cheeseburger and was a little disappointed when it came out with processed cheese and no pickle as it is on the menu. When I asked for the pickle I received pickle chips not a sliced pickle, not that any of this is a big deal but I having a hard time justifying the cost. The chips we’re all smashed up and the fact that they don’t have blue cheese is crazy to me. It cost 21 $ for a cheese burger, turkey sandwich, a bottle of water and a can of half and half.

Miceli’s was one of the first places I ate after getting to Geneseo. I was feeling homesick and the sandwich reminded me of deli food from home. The food isn’t anything amazing or trendy or whatever, but it is simple, delicious, and inexpensive. The staff are friendly and helpful. :)

Cute little sandwich shop on Main St. in Geneseo. It’s a good option if you’re looking for a quick, cheap lunch that isn’t pizza. I used to be a fan of their bagel sandwiches(turkey, bacon, lettuce, and mayo… mmm…) as well as their Triple Chocolate Cake, which they sell by the slice at the counter. Friendly staff and ample seating in the dining room to the left of the counter. It may not be gourmet quality but it’s high on charm and the food hits the spot. Recommended.

Having traveled all over the area for work, I gotta say, this is my favorite sandwich shop! Oh man, I’m usually wary of buffalo chicken(reasons be they too salty or crispy), and was thrown off by the cashier recommending that to me, but this place definitely gets it right! Add that with perfect portions of lettuce, oil and that awesome bread of theirs – I can’t ask for anything better. My fiancée went to Geneseo and I doubt I’ll be coming to this area much, given we now live in New Jersey. HOWEVER, if I am in the area, I’d be sure to come back again!

We stopped by for lunch and after deliberation at the counter, we decided to order what Western New York does well: Beef on Weck, and Buffalo Wings. Except, by Buffalo Wings I mean a buffalo chicken wrap, and it was pretty weak. Light on the chicken, light on the flavor. The Beef on Weck more than made up for it though, with a side of au jus for dipping, enough horseradish to make the manliest of men cry like he had stubbed his pinky toe,* and plenty of beef on that salty kümmelweck roll. If I found myself back in Geneseo, I might even do it again. _______________ *I can only assume that I am the manliest of men, and I can only reference what has made me cry thus far today.

I’ve only been here a handful of times for breakfast, but that’s all it takes for me to like this place! At the end of the school year, I found any excuse to come up here for the ham, egg and cheese on a wheat pita. It is so delicious, but then again you can’t really go wrong with that combination. I tried their chili… it’s really sweet. I also tried their homemade applesauce. I’ve never had applesauce I liked, but this stuff is the best! It’s not too sweet and there are still chunks of apple floating within. I’m going to miss this place since I’m not going back to Geneseo. :(
