Great coffee shop — tasty coffee, nice atmosphere, plenty of outlets for plugging in my laptop, and awesome baked goods. I love the assortment of «bite-sized» baked goods — perfect for when you want a small treat to go with your coffee. Service is friendly, and consistently very good, even when it’s busy.

Grabbed Sunday brunch here and liked the open space. Ordered their peanut butter and banana waffle and the turkey brie waffle. Thought both were good, though I would have never considered putting turkey & brie on a waffle.

Adorable coffee shop. Had a latte and chocolate walnut cookie and both were excellent.

Cricket’s opened in the space that was formerly Muddy Waters Coffee House. With the exception of the display cooler and the chalkboard menus, everything is different. It’s obvious that the new owner spent some money on soap and water and paint. The place has a fresh, new look. Gone are the old couches and chairs that look like they were salvaged from the side of the road. New, high top tables, along with comfortable leather(fake) chairs give the place a relaxed feel. The only complaint is that the layout can feel a little cramped sometimes. They have the usual variety of coffees, teas, and other drinks you’d expect from a coffee house. The food items include bagels, cookies, cupcakes, and occasionally couscous salads. The menu board promises more menu items to come. One big plus is that it seems like things are less expensive than they used to be. Cricket’s brought back the popular Open Mic night on Wednesdays. It is usually pretty busy, and has a nice mix of college students and«townies» all getting along and enjoying the music.
