I have to agree with the others that the atmosphere was perfect. It’s a smaller restaurant so it feels very intimate. A good place for a romantic dinner. They have a very interesting menu. My wife had a wonderful pulled pork in a plum barbecue sauce with a little bit of heat from jalapeño and I had an Asian noodle bowl in a peanut sauce. Everything on the menu looked delicious(especially as I saw it come out for some of the other tables) and we hope we can get back there again on our next trip to the Finger Lakes.

Hidden among quite a few«pubs’ in the area, Cobblestone was a breath of fresh air for me. Aesthetically speaking, it had the charm of a Victorian home with a cozy atmosphere. My server Tammy made sure to explain to me the menu(which has an abundance of tasty sounding entrees). After selecting the shrimp and scallops provincial, I waited what seemed like minutes for my food to arrive. In a place as busy at it was that night, I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency. Tammy, made sure not to hurry myself and my lady friend through our meal. That was extremely appreciated in a day and age where servers try to «turn and burn». By the looks of their other Italian inspired selections on their menu, it seems like the Cobblestone may have cornered the niche that this area is lacking. As a frequent traveler and foodie, it was refreshing to find this place. I will come back again when I am in town!

Beautiful restaurant. Very pricy and our server was rude. Not sure we will return. Restaurant in house has space for groups upstairs

Two of us dined here Friday, May 22, 2015. Somewhat romantic, However, over priced for what it was. Martini Cocktails before were some of worst unbalanced, overly strong drinks I have ever experienced outside of the old Soviet Union. Crab cake starters were best part of meal. Service was somewhat slow even though restaurant was empty. This establishment seems to be relying on old reputation.

Little quaint restaurant on the out shirts of town. Showcasing favorites like risotto, strip steaks, scallops… And many more local seasonal favorites … A perfect restaurant for a special occasion with a special someone. But please … Save room for dessert !

Service slow and the Coquilles St Jacques was the worst I and my dining companion ever tasted. Instead of the traditional dish of scallops in a light sauce surrounded by a border of mashed potatoes, what was offered was a baking dish filled with mashed potatoes with a few scallops deeply buried in the mashed potatoes covered with bread crumbs and baked ending up with a very dry dish with little taste. It was expensive and a disappointment The best part of the meal was an onion soup which was tasty and well prepared.

I am giving this four stars even though my dinning partner would give it a three. Let me start with it is a great date night location with a cozy atmosphere and attentive waiters and hostesses. Service was fast and helpful, but nothing special. The bread was ok, a little dry but a nice touch anyways. The salads were great and I would highly recommend the pear salad. Now to the main course. The scallops were amazing!!! Perfectly cooked, great sauce, and awesome risotto! So good I would come back again just for these. Unfortunately my dinning partner hates the veal. The sauce tasted off and it just didn’t work together.
