My wife and I attempted to hit several wineries in the area in two days. We didn’t spend much time here, we only wanted to try a few and move on. But I have to say, this place is beautiful. I felt underdressed in shorts and a polo. The indoors is nice hardwood and everything looks brand new. The deck out back overlooks the vineyard and had a live musician on this Fall Saturday night. Unfortunately, my wife and I didn’t like any of their wines, except for one. Their prices are a bit steep(compared to others in the area) so that prevented us from buying a bottle. Let’s face it, there is a lot of competition down the street. With all of that said, if you want someplace fancier than your average winery, you want to impress someone, and/or you want dry red wine, this may be your place. It just isn’t what we were looking for.(probably the perfect place for a formal event, such as a wedding or a rehearsal dinner!)

My wife and I stopped at pretty much every winery in the area. Some good, some just«nice». But this one was the best. I guy who worked there named Joe was amazing and really knew his stuff! Talked about wine for about an hour. Tried every wine they had. Not one was«bad». Many where very good and some where«fantastic». If you like win or consider yourself a foodie. This place is by fare the best! *They don’t let noisy party buses or limousines enter. I personally like this aspect. But some may not. I will definitely be coming here many times a year from now on. Hope this helps!

We finally got to stop into the winery and it was worth the wait! The wines are really good. There is a wine for you whether you like dry or sweet, but they do have more dry wines which is great for an area known for sweeter wines. The Amelia was my favorite, which is a sweeter wine. The winery itself is very nice and gives a homey feel, even while looking at the snow covered vineyards outside. This is a great winery to visit if you’re in the area and just want to relax and take in the views that Geneva has to offer.

The best red wine in the state. What they’ve accomplished here is amazing. Debonne has cornered the local market in whites, but this is the place to go if you’re looking for quality reds. The staff is passionate about their product, and very knowledgable. Great experience.

Our favorite stop of the tour… obviously above par quality. Get the white kind that starts with an R — I gave up trying to pronounce it!

Great Ohio wines that are the best I’ve had in Ohio. The tasting room is welcoming and the staff knowledgeable. Matt takes his time to share his passion for grapes and wines with all visitors. If you haven’t been here, plan a trip soon!

We had a very nice visit and tasted 4 wines. If you purchase 2 bottles, they don’t charge you for the wine tastings. The people working seem to be very knowledgeable. Atmosphere is nice, with great views. Wine is a little pricey compared to some of the other wineries, but since taste is all a personal preference, the wines will work for some and not others. We liked the Pinot Noir and bought one to take home.

Stopped in on a whim & had a great experience! Knowledgable & friendly staff – inclusive of the owner. Refreshing to see him at the counter helping customers & explaining his processes. Very genuine feeling & delicious wines! The patio was also very scenic. Our favorite in the area after trying the nearby options.

I know that tastes in wine are a personal thing and subjective. In my opinion, this winery has the best tasting selection of Ohio wine I have yet to taste. Period. I have not been a big fan of Ohio wines in the past. The story of this vineyard: removing the original vines, changing the soil and vines to allow grapes not native to the area to be grown shows the dedication of the winery to produce wines that are unique and high quality. Prices are reasonable to high. I did not sample the food selections. The fireplace was a nice feature on a cold winter day. Will definitely return for more of the experience in better weather.

By far the BEST dry reds in the area. Gorgeous setting and friendly, well educated owners passionate about their craft. A must visit!!! The late harvest was also delicious and a sweet treat.

We went here for Valentines Day. They had a five course dinner with a different wine per course. They had a guy playing guitar while you dined. Not too loud. Before each course, the chef came out and described what he made. Matt then came out and told you about the wines. It was a great event and I can’t wait to go back. Because we live in Pgh. Getting up there for other events is really hard. But we made time for this. We are both still talking about it! I put in my picture thing the menu and drink list.

We just stopped in here for a quick taste. The building is beautiful. I would have loved to stay longer. We got a bottle of white — I think it was Lake Erie Riesling, but I’m not sure. Whatever it was, it was delicious. I’m glad to see more places popping up on this road.

I would like to visit this place again as I didn’t have much time to get an impression during my first visit due to their early closing time on a Saturday night(8:30). M Cellars has a great patio overlooking their vineyard, which is nice for watching the sunset over the vines with a glass in hand. Bottles are priced about $ 15– $ 25. I only had a chance to try the Rkatsitelli, which is a semi-sweet and dry white — tasty.

We got there half an hour before closing and the hostess rudely made sure we knew that. We got a bottle of Rkatsitelli, which was pretty sweet but dry white wine from Ukraine. We didn’t feel welcome to sample any other wines and had to hurriedly jugged our glasses as the waitress came right at closing to collect our glasses. Overall, pretty good wine but horrible service.

Wines — Reds are very good. Whites — In my opinion, their Rkatsitelli is one of the best wines anywhere! According to the server, this is the only winery in Ohio that grows this grape. Service — Very attentive and nice. Décor — The interior is beautiful and the patio is fabulous. Food — small plates for snacking. Music — They do have live music. Check their website for their schedules. Overall — Definitely a stop on the wine tour.
