Love this Consignment Shop. Everything looks and smells BRANDNEW&EAUCURRANT. It“‘s under new ownershIp, and their concept is still the same. I have consigned and made purchases for over three years. Be advised. Don’t get your fashion feelings hurt if your items are not considered to consigned. Also they know what your merch value and how much it can be sold at. They know their clients taste and they know how to price items so your items will sell fast. Last but not least their $ 5 rack and their Club Card are additional diva discounts on well known designer labels for LESS!

I used to shop at Sweet Repeats when they were located in Carson City. I think their store in Genoa is even better. I always find something great there. They have a great coupon deal, when you spend $ 100 you get $ 10 off the next time. I’ve found beautiful purses, shoes, blouses and jewelry. oftentimes the items are new! I go there once or twice a month, their inventory is always changing. Love it!

Sweet Repeats offers a mix of new and gently used merchandise. Their business model involves offering better labeled clothing at affordable prices. The shop shares the same porch as the Genoa Station Bar and Grill and is right next to the Town Hall. I had a chance to look around during the recent Genoa Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival. When I first emerged from Sweet Repeats, one of Gayle’s Genoa-based acquaintances asked me what I thought of the place. I said it was OK, meaning that I enjoyed the layout and selection, although most of it didn’t suit my particular tastes. What came next was story about their modern sign, a loophole that was used to keep it up despite local historical preservation requirements, alleged harsh words, and some kind of a «I won’t set foot in that place» statement. At that point, I discretely slipped my purchase into my backpack out of view! Personally, I think the sign looks just fine. While inside I was also impressed with their friendly service and the fact that Sweet Repeats Staff were doing all they could as good neighbours to promote this and other Genoa events. I’m sure I’ll stop in again for future gift ideas, but I might have to do it quietly.
