If you have never been to see Amanda Scott for her beauty services, well, YOU NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT… LIKE IMMEDIATELY! I am 47 and she gave me the BEST haircut of my life. Her attention to detail and what your hair needs was spot on. Let her do her thing, and I promise you will walk away happy and well informed about your hair. She even styled me like I would have done it myself, which thrilled me to no end! I am so happy I can let it dry naturally, curl it or straighten it and it looks AMAZING all ways. Run, don’t walk to see her people. She’s gorgeous, funny and talented. Triple threat! DO IT!!!

Amanda is definitely the best, most professional, most sanitary nail tech I have ever been to. I was at another nail salon where I noticed a very unsanitary procedure on another client and decided I could never go back there. I came home and got on Unilocal and found Amanda and based on the other reviews I started going to her. My nails have never lasted as long as they do now and I have no issues with breakage or anything else. Also, I started realizing I never go home with sore fingers or cuticles like I frequently did in the past due to rough treatment at other salons. She is a true pro and you will immediately notice the difference. After a while I started using her for my haircuts too and I’m very pleased. I have been to half a dozen stylists in the past couple years and couldn’t find anybody to really do as good a job as she does. She «gets» how my hair grows. She is a really fun person and you will not regret switching!

I’ve been getting my nails done by Amanda for 7 years. 6 years of the best pink and white acrylic nails that ALWAYS got compliments, and this last year of shellac nails which look super cute and trim and… again…ALWAYS GET COMPLIMENTS. Plus she is fun to talk to!

I’ve known Amanda Scott for years having met her when she was at another hair salon doing nails. Having my nails done is very important to me and I’ll only go to her for my nail appointments!
She has been doing amazing nails for me since 2010. I don’t know how she does it but my fills last 2 weeks or longer and that has never happened when I had them done at other places. I also hardly ever break a nail and almost never have the «girl, you need your nails done» look. :-D Even though we have a lot of fun during my appointment, she is very professional and gets me in and out of there in an hour and a half max! I never feel like I am being rushed or bothering her like some places do. Nor do I get the condescending tone when I ask for what I want or how I want them — squared off and not too long. They need to look like I had my nails done but not too done.
If you need a nail technician, make the drive to Round Rock to see Amanda. But call her first as she works by appointment only and she does book up! But you won’t be sorry. She does GREAT nails! And tell her I sent you!
