Best High tea I have ever had!!! Best food, best tea, best service and over-all experience!!! I am so glad I discovered this charming place! We already have another visit planned. Thank you to the lovely couple who owns Dusty Rose for making us laugh, feel so welcome and for putting such love into the experience. It’s obvious that you love what you do! I wish I had some of your food right now. See you soon!!! GREATJOB!

Q: How does one review a tea shop, full of doilies and porcelain cups, while maintaining dude cred? A: channel a WWE promoter. 100% — unapologetically — totally in your face –non stop TEAANDPASTRIES action. This little shop, good reader, is how you run a tea business. We’re talking doilies, floppy hats, multi tiered trays. Not to mention a mean selection of primo teas from exotic locales, and cucumber sandwiches so awesome«the Earl“‘s aunt would be so impressed shed probably faint. And the scones — forget about it. Believe me when i say you’ve not had a scone until you tried a DRTR scone. I know what you’re thinking«But Oleg — you havent been to this Irish bakery in my neighborhood that makes the most amazing…» stop. No. Compared to DRTR scones — its another chalky kibble, ambiguously triangular lump of of sugary flour. On a serious note if you want to have a proper tea experience DRTR pulls out all the stops, and spares no expense — seriously. Dont leave Georgetown without stopping here at least once. That goes double if you(1) dont drink tea(2) not the kind of person to go into a shop that has doilies and floppy hats — will seriously expand your horizons. * Just an aside — the owner happens to be one of the coolest persons I’ve met in CO.

What a delightful gem the Dusty Rose Tea Room is! The tea is incredibly good. They have home-made scones served with devonshire cream, lemon curd, finger sandwiches and an exquisite selection of classic tea pastries. My personal favorites were the cucumber sandwiches and the chocolate peanut butter bar. The more I explore the eateries in Georgetown the more I come to realize that the Dusty Rose is my personal favorite! A must do for anyone coming to Georgetown for great service, food, tea(and coffee)!

We came here for a Mother’s Day brunch and we had a fantastic time. There was so many delicious tea choices, and we loved all of the ones we ordered. There was plenty of food and everything was handmade. The walnut cookies were amazing. If you are ever in this adorable part of Colorado check out the tea house!

Deviled eggs. Orzo pasta. Potato soup cheddar biscuits omg all so good. This place is a throwback, but I’m not sure to what. English tea time? Old ladies will be found gossiping and sampling all kinda of little bites. Worth watching, and experiencing. Also, pick yourself a sweet tea hat before you sit down.

High tea lunch was awesome. LOTS of food(more than we could eat so we were able to take some home). The taste and presentation of the food was superb(everything was homemade). Delicious lemon curd! Over 30 different flavors of tea(loose tea) were available. The teas were the most flavorful I’ve ever had at a Tea Room. It’s hard to choose a favorite flavor as we tried at least 7 different kinds but I greatly enjoyed the Mountain Brew(an organic black tea — chocolate, caramel and pecan). I believe there was also a Lavender Peach tea that was very good. We could choose our own china tea cups, choose a hat to wear and sit back and enjoy a relaxing experience! The service was perfect(attentive without being too intrusive). It was like having tea at a friend’s home. As we prepared to leave from our holiday High Tea, each of us was given a gift(yummy bag of cinnamon flavored nuts). Price was very reasonable. To go drinks(teas, coffee, soda or hot chocolate) were offered. I can hardly wait to go back!
