Five & Dimes Family Hair Centers

I was looking for a barber here in Gtown so I could visit during work. I stumbled upon this place. It is located in the corner of the Kmart Parking lot/​plaza.
Usually stopping in during lunchtime hair salons are super busy. This one was like a ghost town. I parked and went up to the window and turned around and left to begin with. Apparently the owner of this joint is too cheap to take credit cards.
WTF?! Do those places exist besides little lemon aid stands that 4 years olds put up on the curb? Apparently this guy don’t believe in fees and cards. Cash only please. That is really sketchy.
Any ways… I went to ATM and came back and the lady who cut my hair was nice enough and I think was on some speed record cut or something. She sat me down, put on the bib, and within 2 minutes was telling me to get up and pay. WOW. SUPER FAST. This place is apparently about quantity not quality. Which is stupid because I was the only one that came close to their door. Even the mail man passed them by.
So service isn’t this places strong suit. Neither is holding back on the gossip. I heard all kinds of stuff with in that 2 min about how cheap ass the owner was.
Bitter party of 1… check please.
I will not be going back here unless to check in to poke fun of them again.
If you are looking for a cut somewhat like that the military will give you… Stop on in. And just like movie magic… They will twirl you around in the chair and BAM you will be done.
