Have been here about a dozen times. Like the nursery rhyme: when it’s good it’s very very good, but when it’s bad it’s horrid. Last night ordered pizza. Took 45 min.(when waitress said it would be 20 min. — we had time constraints); tasted like it had been cooked the day before and reheated. Was vegetarian pizza and green peppers were so well cooked they were gray and mushy. Barely edible. Only one waitress for 9 tables and there was no way she could possibly keep up. Their salads are typically excellent. House dressing excellent. Pizza can be excellent when it is freshly made. But last night was terrible. Similar to experience when I ordered an individual slice of pizza(day old, rewarmed with new toppings).

Our office staff went to Paisano’s for lunch a couple of weeks ago, after looking for a place close by with gluten free options. Unilocal reviews were good, and a couple of our staff had eaten here previously. The restaurant was not very busy, so seating our group was no problem. Staff was friendly and attentive. And they did have a pretty decent gluten free menu — with the usual warnings about possible cross-contamination. They had a great deal on lunch specials for my co-workers, but there was only one GF menu used for lunch or dinner. And of course, all of the GF items were more expensive than even their regular-priced counterparts. I ordered an italian sandwich, which came on GF bread. It was tasty, but didn’t come with anything else — the regular lunch specials came with soup or salad options, mine didn’t have a side of any kind offered. And it cost about $ 10.

When driving through the town, we saw this little italian restaurant. When we arrived, none greeted us, in fact we waited around 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, so we were confused on whether it was self service or not. The menu had good selection, average pricing. The food was taking forever to be served, and I was getting frustrated until I realized how severely understaffed it was: Only one person was working and he cooked and took all the orders. Poor kid was working so hard. The food was served and it was actually some of the best Italian food I have ever had. The house salad was great, although the vinagrette was very sour. I ordered tortellini, and It was made fresh in the restaurant; extremely delicious. If you can overlook the underwhelming service, be prepared for a fantastic meal.

The pizza was excellent. We had two different full pizzas and loved them both. The bruschetta is wonderful as well. I would skip the caprese salad– tomato and mozzarella. Definitely needed more flavor, possibly sprinkle of basil vinaigrette. Overall the pizza was great and we will be going back again!

Good gluten free pizza and great house salad. Sign up to get emails for birthday meals! This place has been around over 16 years… solid food.

I came in with my birthday coupon because I’ve been here before for their pizza. This time, after waiting forever for two servers to decide who was going to help me, I got the lasagna alla bolegnese(«spaghetti bolognese», noooo, lasagna) which came with what appeared to be a stock meatball on it. It was more than obvious that my lasagna had been heated up just for me. The last of it was even cold. Not luke warm, not room tempurature, but cold. Yum.

This place has great pizza. Crust is nice, price is decent(not delivery prices but much better quality). The service, however, is just not good. We were there on a week night, with probably only 4 other tables. Waitress seemed so spacey. When new parties were coming in, they were telling them it would be an hour wait for food. We did wait for forever so at least they were being honest but it was so weird. If we come again, we would probably just order pizza to go and skip the sit down part. I really hope the owners are aware of the issues with the service.

Service can always be counted on being slow but the pizza more than makes up for it. The bruschetta is some of the best I’ve ever tasted and always fresh. Our favorite go-to pizza is pepperoni and Italian sausage, can’t go wrong!

I really want to love this place. The food has always been good, and the prices reasonable. We are at music lessons next door every week, and there is potential for my family of 6 to eat there a lot more often. However. The service is getting worse and worse. And worse. Last night we were a group of 8, place was pretty crowded, and we waited over 45 minutes for our food. Then, half of the food was brought out. Another 15 minutes went by before the other half came out. The waiter was not unfriendly, but was in no way apologetic or forthcoming with information on the wait time. Young and inexperienced mostly. My chicken parm was good except for the burnt half, and my sons pizza was soggy in the middle. I’m writing this review in hopes that the owner will read it and make some improvements. With Frankie’s in town, you may have to do better!

LOVETHEM! Been there 5 or 6 times. Used them to cater a church event and the food was better than in the restaurant! Going back tonight!!!

Great parm eggplant and chicken. Derrick was a great server, very attentive. Not a 5-star place, but quaint and laid back.

The food is great but the service is horrible. I’ll come back when the get rid of the dark headed kid with the glasses. He has no customer service skills whatsoever. I’ve been there 5 times and I’m always stuck with Mr. Attitude that apparently hates his life, his job, and serving others.

The food is always great but the service is always bad(seems like they don’t train their servers or the servers just don’t give a crap every single time). They have great gluten free pizza, decent prices and let us do half/half toppings, so we keep coming back. But last time we thought better of going in, and picked it up, knowing the service is always slow and it’s a hard, long wait with little kids. I consider their pizza 2nd best in Georgetown, to 600 degrees.

This is the worst pizza I ever had!!! Worse than Golden Crust in Hutto, and that place is gross. The crust is thick, chewy, and under cooked. The vegetables on the pizza were watery and there was almost no sauce sauce on it. It also took forever, lousy service. We didn’t eat the pizza and expensive to boot. So sad 600 Degrees was closed for Labor Day.

Horrible service! Can not handle a lunch crowd or even 6 tables. «Servers» acted as if customers were not in restaurant! At 1 pm a little after lunch time no one was able to seat us in a place that seats maybe 15 tables. Of the 15 tables, maybe 6 were occupied. Servers Jessi and Derek could not get along or figure out who would serve us. We sat ourselves against Jessi’s wishes that she would get in trouble. By who? No manager on duty! Jessi was exceptionally rude when we asked if we could be waited on. Her excuse she had TOOMANY tables and a fractured foot. Well sweetheart, don’t be a waitress if you can’t handle the heat! DONOTRECOMMEND! As we left without being served, we heard a goodbye. Good riddance, and good luck finding people who want to work there. There’s a weekly ad hiring for cashiers. With no management and horrible staff I can understand the turnover.

The picky child said give em 5 stars and I don’t have a problem with that. We had a slice of margarita pizza, meatball sandwich and dessert and took home a pizza

After reading that the service was known to be slow, I decided to order a simple meat ball sub. The previous reviews were correct, the service is irritatingly slow. It took about 30 minutes to receive my sandwich and another 30 minutes for the server to bring the check and close out the transaction after I had finished. There were two servers and while both were very nice, they are very SLOW. The meatball sub was small but good. I was hoping for something more substantial. This place has potential. Other reviews say the food is good, but I am reluctant to come back because of the slow service.

We had to feed our pizza addiction, Paisano’s will fill that neediness admirably. The works is what we ordered previously, and it was a very nice blend of vegetables and carnivore stuff, we ordered«the works» again, awesome pie… showed a lot of restraint and saved half of a 16″ pie for lunch tomorrow… hope it makes it that long… posted a few pics of the pie and décor… this place is not very fancy but they know their way around a pizza oven.

Great food, but staff allowed a family with a small child to play movies on their iPad at full volume while she sung along. We couldn’t hear ourselves talk. I had a headache going in and just wanted a quiet meal.

With a place like Paisano’s nearby, there’s really no excuse for ordering from any of the big pizza chains. Fresher and better-quality ingredients, fantastic crust, and just as much food for your dollar as Domino’s or Pizza Hut, assuming you like more than cheese and one meat on your pie. The rest of the menu is good, too, and service is always great when we dine in. Oh, and one more thing: The cannoli are the best I’ve ever had. Seriously.
