Stopped in based on the reviews and were very glad we did. We tried the chili, the pulled pork wrap, the potato salad, and the Ted’s Italian sandwich and all were wonderful.

Thumbs up for Patty’s… Stopped here for a late lunch after doing my DMV stop down the road. Friendly staff, fast service and nice sandwich. I had a roasted veggie on a baguette and it was good stuff. No inside seating but there was a picnic table outside. Will return next visit to Geotown. –Enjoy

The only thing holding back a 5th star from this friendly, creative, scrumptious restaurant is inside seating! We ate on the picnic table outside and it worked but the flies were a bit annoying. I had a roast beef and coleslaw sandwich on pumpernickel and rye bread which was delish! The homemade tortilla chips are addictive!

Great spot. The guys behind the counter were really nice and made great recommendations. Top quality everything. I was really impressed. Only one picnic table outside for seating but it actually added to the charm. Love it.

What a great find! I was traveling through this part of Delaware on business and needed a spot to grab a quick lunch before a meeting. The other reviews are all true! Patty’s has super friendly staff, artisan cheeses, freshly carved meats, and lots of little gourmet delights for purchase. There is no indoor dining space available, but you’ll find a picnic table outside where, weather permitting, you can enjoy your sandwich.

This is the best place to eat in Georgetown, hands down. The quality of ingredients makes all the difference. Never had anything even slightly bad here.

Best Italian sub you can find since Frankie’s on Union St in Wilmington closed. The roll and the meats that they use are phenomenal. On Thursdays, order early and get their cheeseburger. Every Thursday it seems they sell out by 12 – 1230 and these are some of the best burgers. Recently I had the chicken salad wrap and that too was good. A liquor store, oak creek I believe, does a wine tasting every Friday and Pattys cheese and some of their foods will be there as a snack. I highly recommend going just to taste the great food from Pattys.

Excellent sandwiches, with homemade bread and lots of ingredients for fixings. They also have a great selection of cheese and sides to go with your sandwich, many also made there. Really you can’t go wrong :) All the sandwiches look good!

I loved this place! While waiting for our order(turkey sub and amazing panini with artichokes and oven dried tomatoes and goat cheese) I was handed a sample of Camembert topped with walnuts and mushrooms. Delish! So sad they are not in NJ :(

What a great discovery. This is the type of place we love to find just driving through an area. We were on a food tour jumping over from Cape May to Lewes DE and on our way to VA beach when we drove right by 16 Mile brewery(another great find) just up the road from here. They had a little promo card for this place and their cheeses on the bar. The bartender thought they might be closed already(it was past 5 pm) but we were delighted to see the OPEN light on in the window as we approached. We didn’t have sandwiches as we had just eaten but picked up a variety of snacks, home make cookies and cheeses for the remainder of our travels. Just an amazing selection of cheeses and the woman who helped us was quick to offer a taste of whatever we wanted to try, to make great selections for something similar to what we liked and to just make us feel totally at home. Cheeses like this can be quite expensive(up to $ 28/lb) but worth it to get some very unusual tastes like lemon or mango infused goat cheese, etc. We left there questioning how they can make a go of the business in such a remote area and then questioning our own prejudices about the willingness of people everywhere to pay for a quality product. P. S. don’t be mislead by the Unilocal map. The store is actually a little further south of their marker, in the crook of the V formed by S Bedford and Zoar Rd.

I can’t say enough good things about this gem of a restaurant. Patty’s stands head and shoulder’s above every single other restaurant within 20 miles of Georgetown, DE in both food quality and customer service. I work in the Circle in downtown, so I’ve been to Patty’s many times over the last several months. The sandwiches are superb, with high quality ingredients. The steak sandwiches are especially delicious and filling. It’s hard to go wrong. But the best way to appreciate Patty’s is to explore a bit beyond your standard lunch fare. The cheeses are a real treat, they usually have some excellent samples available for tasting during lunch time. For my wife’s birthday, I dropped by Patty’s to pick up a few cheeses. Though I appreciate fancy cheese, I’m a novice, and Patty(yes, the owner is actually named Patty) was kind enough to help me out by making some excellent cheese suggestions. But she didn’t stop there. She artfully arranged each block of cheese on a cutting board(HER cutting board, which she loaned to me) atop fresh greens, and then filled out the platter with some dried apricots and candied pecans. She carefully wrapped the whole package(~1 lb of gourmet cheese, with a big box of fresh crostini). So, I ended up with a really exquisite gift cheese platter that was far superior to anything comparable I could have gotten from harry and david at a fraction of the cost(the whole thing cost around $ 30). Do yourself a favor and drop by Patty’s whenever you find yourself in Sussex County.

Just plain Awesome. I am a cheese lover all kinds of exotic flavors. The best grilled ham and cheese on the planet.
